An artist that lives in the northern portion of the Mie Prefecture, in Western Japan (but still within Fukushima’s radiation-circle) has posted pictures on Pinterest of some very outlandish looking carrots that he dug up from his own garden.
The poster simply comments, “The carrots that grew in my garden look too abnormal this year . . .”
Some refute the ‘mutant fruits and vegetable’ pictures popping up on different Internet sites, stating that they are a hoax, and others are insistent that the pictures they are posting are real. There have been mutant cabbages, 4 times the normal size, and tomatoes that seem to have exploded, but is this all sensationalized news, or something we should really be concerned about?

What if the very GM agricultural system that Monsanto claims will help to solve the problem of world hunger depends on a chemical that kills the very pollinator upon which approximately 70% of world’s food supply now depends?
A new study published in the Journal of Experimental Biology titled, “Effects of field-realistic doses of glyphosate on honeybee appetitive behavior,” establishes a link between the world’s most popular herbicide – aka Roundup – and the dramatic decline in honeybee (Apis mellifera) populations in North American and Europe that lead to the coining of the term ‘colony collapse disorder‘ (CCD) in late 2006 to describe the phenomena.
The researchers found that concentrations of glyphosate (GLY) consistent with the type of exposures associated with standard spraying practices in GM agricultural- and neighboring eco- systems reduced the honeybee’s sensitivity to nectar reward and impaired their learning abilities – two behavioral consequences likely to adversely affect their survival abilities. Moreover, while sub-lethal doses were not found to overtly affect their foraging behavior, they hypothesized that because of their resilience, “..forager bees could become a source of a constant inflow of nectar with GLY traces that could then be distributed among nest mates, stored in the hive and have long- term negative consequences on colony performance.”
A Deeper Look at the New Study: Roundup Interferes with Bee Appetite and Learning
Roundup herbicide is a ubiquitous toxicant, with an accumulating body of research now showing it is a common contaminant in our air, water, rain, soil and food, and in physiologically relevant concentrations (even the part-per-trillion concentration range demonstrates endocrine disruptive and potentially carcinogenic properties) to microbial, insect, animal and human life.
When Roundup herbicide was first evaluated for toxicity to the honeybee, the focus was on acute toxicity of the ‘active ingredient’ and not sub-lethal and prolonged exposure effects; and certainly not the amplified toxicological synergies present in glyphosate formulations like Roundup, which when the so-called ‘inert’ adjuvant ingredients (e.g. surfactants) are taken into account, have been found to be at least 125 times more toxic than glyphosate alone. By only taking into account acute toxicity – as measured by the so-called LD50 (lethal dose, 50%) – on the ‘active’ ingredient, government regulators approved glyphosate as relatively harmless to honeybees prematurely.
The researchers expanded on the topic:
“Glyphosate [GLY] toxicity tests on Apis mellifera for product approval did not consider sub-lethal nor prolonged exposure effects. Studies were only focused on obtaining LD50 (lethal dose, 50%) as a measure of the effect of an acute exposure, but nevertheless, they were carried out on the basis that honeybees might in fact be exposed to GLY in their natural environment, either through the consumption of contaminated resources or through a direct exposure as a result of inadvertent spraying (Giesy et al., 2000). Even though LD50 results seem to indicate that GLY is not harmful for honeybees, the fact that honeybees are potentially exposed to GLY motivated us to pursue further analysis and to address the lack of chronic studies.”
The authors of the new study set out to test whether doses of glyphosate bees would realistically encounter in the field (field-realistic doses) could affect their feeding behavior (appetitive behavior) in a deleterious manner.
They exposed honeybees to field-realistic doses of glyphosate chronically and acutely, and observed: “a reduced sensitivity to sucrose and learning performance for the groups chronically exposed to GLY concentrations within the range of recommended doses,” as well as significant decrease in elemental learning, non-elemental associative learning, and short-term memory retention, when exposed to acute GLY doses.
Roundup Already Identified As Likely Cause of Colony Collapse Disorder
This latest study is not the first to link glyphosate to the vanishing honeybee.
Extensive research on the topic performed by Dr. Don D. Huber and summarized in an article published last year titled, “Is glyphosate a contributing cause of bee colony collapse disorder (CCD)?,” lead him to conclude that the 880 million pounds of glyphosate released into the environment worldwide has been contributing to the collapse of the honeybee. The paper revealed the following six ways that glyphosate could contribute to CCD:
- Glyphosate chelates minerals, lowers nutrients in plants: In CCD, Malnutrition is universally present.
- Glyphosate acts like an antibiotic to beneficial bacteria: In CCD, loss of Lactobacillus and other critical beneficial bacteria for digestion is commonly observed.
- Glyphosate is a neurotoxin: In CCD, honeybees experience neurological changes associated with disorientation.
- Glyphosate causes endocrine hormone & immune disruption: In CCD, immunity and other hormonal variables are altered or suppressed.
- Glyphosate stimulates fungal overgrowth: In CCD, the fungal pathogen Nosema increases.
- Glyphosate persists and accumulates: High environmental exposure, including glyphosate residues present in honey, nectar and other plant products, make honeybees susceptible to continual toxic challenge — which is believed to be a primary underlying cause of CCD.
Other Factors Contributing to Colony Collapse
While it is now increasingly acknowledged that many agrochemicals pesticides — especially neonicotinoids — are toxic to honeybees, there are other factors that likely play a role as well:
It should be pointed out that the last factor listed – infectious organisms – are likely more a symptom than a cause of honeybee morbidity and mortality. In other words, following electromagnetic, agrochemical and dietary assault, the immune system of the honeybee – and the collective immunity of the hive – weakens, leading to greater susceptibility to opportunistic infections.
One USDA study published in 2013 discussed the role of fungicidal contaminants in pollen leading to increased probability of Nosema fungal infection in bees who consumed pollen with a higher fungicide load.
This linkage between chemical exposure > immune suppression, > opportunistic infection, is especially poignant when it comes to Roundup herbicide, which profoundly alters the makeup of the beneficial flora in exposed organisms, leading to the overgrowth of pathogenic bacteria. A 2012 PloS study found that lactic acid bacteria living in the crop (the part of the bee’s alimentary canal that stores food prior to digestion) of bees are vitally important for the health of honeybees, with some strains suggesting a history of association with bees stretching over 80,000,000 years ago. Various chemical are capable of damaging this vitally important locus for the honeybee’s immunity and digestion, and are likely exerting their adverse effects through sublethal, hard to detect mechanisms.
Why Does Monsanto Own Beelogics, ‘The Guardian of Bee Health Worldwide’?
On Sept. 28th, 2011, Monsanto announced that it was acquiring the company Beeologics, whose explicit goal is to become “the guardian of the bee health worldwide,” including finding ways to address CCD.
Here is their mission statement:
“Beeologics LLC is an international firm dedicated to restoring bee health and protecting the future of honey bee pollination. Beeologics’ mission is to become the guardian of bee health worldwide. Through continuous research, scientific innovation, and a focus on applicable solutions, Beeologics is developing a line of RNAi-based products to specifically address the long-term well being of honey bees, including the control of parasites and how they’re involved in Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD).”
A classical problem-solution approach, Monsanto creates a problem – a systemic herbicide intended to ‘save the world’ from hunger as part of its GMO Roundup-ready proprietary production system that actually destroys the pollinators required to maintain our global food supply – and then capitalizes on a GM solution on the backend, with patented RNA interference ‘solutions’ intended to, again, ‘save the world’ from hunger.

If you needed another reason to avoid taking your children down the cereal aisle at the grocery store, here it is: insidious cereal box characters seem to be trying to make eye contact with your kiddos.
While it’s no surprise that marketing techniques like product package design and placement in stores are used to attract buyers, some methods are more exploitative than others. Directing advertising to adults who understand marketing tactics and have the ability to make informed decisions is quite different than employing psychology-based tricks designed to lure innocent kids into brand loyalty.
According to the American Psychological Association:
Most children under age 6 cannot distinguish between programming and advertising and children under age 8 do not understand the persuasive intent of advertising. Advertising directed at children this young is by its very nature exploitative. Children have a remarkable ability to recall content from the ads to which they have been exposed. Product preference has been shown to occur with as little as a single commercial exposure and to strengthen with repeated exposures. Product preferences affect children’s product purchase requests and these requests influence parents’ purchasing decisions.
Cereal companies know this, and they have long exploited that vulnerability through the use of charming and engaging cartoon characters in their commercials and on their packaging. They are the third biggest food marketer to children – and they spend millions trying to entice children to buy their products, according to a 2012 report by The Yale Rudd Center for Food Policy & Obesity:
Companies spent $264 million in measured media on kid-targeted cereals last year, up 34% from 2008, according to the report, which analyzes the nutritional content and advertising habits of 16 brands the center determined to be aimed directly at children. General Mills, which accounted for eight brands in the report such as Lucky Charms and Trix, spent the most at $142 million, a 27% increase from 2008, according to the report. Kellogg Co. hiked spending by 47%, shoveling $108 million into five kid-targeted brands, including Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops. Post Holdings increased spending by 17% to $13.8 million on its two child-targeted brands, Pebbles and Honeycomb.
Researchers at the Cornell University Food and Brand Lab conducted a study to examine the influence of cereal box spokes-characters. The results of that study were published earlier this week, and the findings were interesting.

The health benefits of chocolate are many—soothing a broken heart, celebrating a promotion, or commemorating a birthday. Oh, and the health benefits are impressive too. Originating in Central America, where they were believed to have even magical and divine benefits, cacao beans are now processed into thousands upon thousands of delicious creations, the best of which could help keep your heart healthy.
The cardiovascular benefits of chocolate come largely from its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It’s loaded with flavanols like quercetin and theobromine.
It’s these flavanols that were credited in a recent study for providing better coronary artery protection than coffee and green tea. An ongoing study, according to NaturalNews, is looking at the preventative effects of cacao’s flavanols and polyphenols on coronary heart disease.

A few years ago, Dr. Mary Newport’s discovery of using coconut oil to reverse her husbands advanced Alzheimer’s disease made a big splash in the alternative health media. Some of this splash managed to wet a few pages of the mainstream media (MSM), and Dr. Newport wrote a book about her discovery for hubby’s turn-around called Alzheimer’s Disease: What If There Was a Cure?: The Story of Ketones.
Meanwhile, others who were showing early signs of dementia or worse picked up the news with the same attitude Mary had, “what’s there to lose? Thus a movement toward using saturated fat coconut oil for dementia prevention and reversal was spawned with mostly successes.
Actually, the use of high saturated fat diets to create ketones was created by Johns Hopkins Medical Center in the 1920s. Ketones are processed easily to provide fuel for brain cells when carbohydrate metabolism fails within the brain. But a few decades later, the medical mafia decided that saturated fats are bad and cholesterol, especially LDL, the “bad cholesterol”, just had to go in order to prevent obesity and heart disease.
Well, the dogma caught on and the processed food industry had a field day promoting low or no fat foods, margarine, and unsaturated fat processed (hydrogenated) cooking and salad oils. Yet obesity and heart disease have skyrocketed beyond well beyond what they were before this madness had started.
Looks like this was the wrong theory after all. Frustratingly, even alternative health writers tend to still report how a food or supplement lowers cholesterol, sometimes to make people feel better about their food choices.
Actual Scientific Facts
There have been three attempts since 2012 to create an effective and not too terribly toxic pharmaceutical solution to Alzheimer’s. They all failed, and even caused worsening conditions with an occasional death during testing.
Meanwhile, good ole’ coconut oil with it’s easily digested medium chain triglycerides (MCT), which convert to ketones for brain cell fuel when oxygen/carbohydrate metabolism fails, keeps on working for many.
The brain is comprised of mostly fats, the saturated kind. Cholesterol is needed to fuel neuron communication. It’s been discovered that high cholesterol blood level geriatric folks live longer without dementia than those whose cholesterol counts are higher. By the way, did you know that all cholesterol is the same?
It’s the tiny protein chylomicron (shell) carriers that are different to accommodate different structural and arterial repair purposes for your benefit, including helping manufacture vitamin D from the sun. This helps explain why statin drugs are so harmful and promote heart disease and Alzheimer’s.
Science-based types who like to refute natural health articles without investigating further can read MIT researcher Stephanie Seneff’s brilliant article about that here before commenting.

Food prices are getting out of control. As meats, dairy, and eggs climb to record high prices and over 50 million Americans are now on public food assistance, family budgets are being stretched like never before just to survive.
Yet official statistics say Americans only spend about 11% of their post-tax income on food. I don’t know about you, but food is my family’s biggest monthly expense no matter what percentage of my income it is. I suspect that the same goes for most households reading this.
The causes for higher prices are many: currency inflation, fuel costs, bad weather, commodity speculation, higher demand, etc. I refer to the causes only to illustrate that this trend is very likely to continue. Therefore, it is wise to manage this crucial household expense more closely.
It may seem unusual to view food as an investment or your pantry as a savings account, but that is how you should treat it. The strange thing is, the health and quality aspect of food actually improves when you think of food as “money in the bank”. This concept is proven in the list below.
As mentioned earlier, food is my family’s largest monthly expense even with us doing everything I recommend in this article. But we’ve managed to reduce our food bills significantly while simultaneously building up large reserves and getting healthier by using the techniques outlined here.
Here are ten ways to survive skyrocketing food prices:
Grow Your Own: It is cheap and easy to grow some vegetables or keep a few chickens. It’s simple, the more you produce yourself, the less you have to buy. And the quality will be far superior to anything you can find in the grocery store. Outrageous prices for healthy organic vegetables more than makes it worth turning some soil.
Plan Your Meals: This is perhaps the most important item on this list. How many times have you gone crazy trying to figure out what to have for dinner only to relent and order pizza? Convenient fast food has become a crutch for busy people, but planning meals ahead of time actually makes life more convenient. Because you planned exactly what you’re buying and what you’re making and when, you save time and money.
Pre-Cook Meals: Pre-cooking meals and snacks is another way to bring convenience to busy people and save money. For instance, double up your chili recipe with the intention of splitting it into multiple meals. Or cook several more chicken breasts than you need and use them throughout the week for other meals. When you make pizza, make enough dough for several and freeze them. Pre-making food for a few days or a full week means less work and more savings.
Cook From Scratch: Cooking from scratch is a great way to save money on food, and it won’t take much more elbow grease to make a cake from scratch than it does from a box mix. Making a big batch of refried beans from dried pinto beans is not that difficult. Learning to cook from scratch is as easy as Googling, and you can buy these foodstuffs in bulk for huge savings (more on that below). And, finally, it’s much healthier than processed, pre-packaged or fast food.
Extreme Couponing: If my wife doesn’t save over 50% on our entire grocery bill, she considers the trip a failure. We are extreme couponers, which means we clip coupons and thoroughly study the store circulars before making our shopping list. We buy our favorite items in bulk when they go on sale so we not only save A LOT of money, we also always have a surplus of those items. With food prices always going up, that surplus (bought at half-price) is better than money in the bank.
Hunting and Fishing: Meat from wild game tends to be much healthier than concentration-camp cattle or chicken, and it’s nearly free. It’s is not for everyone but if you’re a meat-eater, hunting and fishing season provides a way to fill your freezer with quality meats for very little money.
Buy Staples in Bulk: If you’re not a professional shopper like my wife and don’t have the time to cut coupons, your next best bet is taking a monthly trip to warehouse stores like Costco. Canned items are often cheaper in bulk there than on sale at supermarkets. Plan your trips wisely. Another great option is buying grain right from the mill. You can buy bulk heritage wheat flour, organic rice, non-gmo corn meal at mills like Anson Mills or Pleasant Hill Grain.
Manage Your Pantry: Notice how some of these tips lead into other tips? Managing the inventory in your pantry (food bank) is crucial to maximizing your budget. Have a rotation method that keeps things fresh and alerts you to when certain items need replenishing. Managing your pantry helps you plan meals, cook from scratch, identify sales, and buy in bulk. They all reinforce each other.
Learn to Preserve: Growing and preserving your own tomato sauce alone will save hundreds of dollars per year. Same goes for pickles, sauerkraut, jams, apple sauce, meat jerky, dried fruits and veggies, etc. If you can’t grow them yourself, buying the raw foods in bulk and then preserve them is still cheaper than factory brands. Many orchards offer cheap pick-your-own options in season. Load up and preserve.
Store Emergency Food: Last but not least, everyone should have a stockpile of storable food. Thankfully, there are now some great healthy emergency foods that last 20 years. The way food prices are going, these may be one of the best investments any family can make. Not only is it an excellent measurable investment, storable food also is instantly usable insurance against disasters. At the very least, every household should have a 3-day emergency food supply.
Food should be a bigger part of our financial planning. Your large monthly expense for food is only expected to grow larger without action on your part. Use the techniques above and your health and bank account will profit.

Dr. Wil has given me permission to post an article that will be published soon in Tesla Tech Magazine. It is a very succinct article that promotes the truth that personal health and empowerment begins with personal responsibility and education. Understanding how we actually function, and how brilliant that function is is of primary importance in knowing how to care for yourself.
This article will appear in the next Tesla Tech magizine;
We live in a world run by corporations. Corporate machines, with little, or no regard for natural, organic existence, methodically serving their own agendas, have systemically and adversely impacted the quality of life on the whole planet Earth.
The food chain has been severely deficient of minerals for over 100 years. The natural balance of beneficial microorganisms is destroyed. The understanding of what constitutes a healthy diet has long been corrupted along with the innate wisdom of the body to know what is good.
Junk corporate science and medicine does not acknowledge these critical factors. Much less can it even admit the impact of things like genetic modifications, atmospheric aerosol spraying, including a plethora of biological laboratory experiments accidentally released into the environment, weather modification, systemic industrial wastes, pollution, pesticides, artificially injected serum vaccines, petroleum and petrochemical spills and releases, to name a few, and the progressively more invasive and disrupting electronic frequency smog.
While alternative approaches to conventional health, healing and dietary choices do exist and are increasing, they are largely based on junk science and nearly void of natural law, rendering them ineffective, or at best a panacea of symptom relief.
It is true that at the quantum level there is nothing but energy. We really are energy beings and frequency, or energy healing not only makes sense, it may be the fastest growing healing modality in practice. However, there are several factors to the concept of energy healing that are not being considered which are key factors necessary for sustainable and lasting benefits.
The body flows its energy through meridians, much like electricity flows through the wiring of a house, with circuits and sub-circuits guiding the life force to animate and bring health and immunity to all parts of the organism. This is according to the blueprint of nature’s design.
Energy and frequency healing, whether performed manually or by utilizing a device, happens one of two ways. It is either working to correct and realign damaged and imperfect circuits in a body, or it is working to disrupt the frequency providing life force to a pathogenic invader occupying space within the body. In either case, if the treatment worked according to theory, which, by the way it does, then why is the healing not achieved when the healing work is applied? In our opinion energy work is the mechanical correction that should resolve the issue in short order. There are some very good reasons why that is not usually the case.
First and foremost, we cannot disregard the fact that we are a consciousness of pure energy existing, at least for the moment, inside a much denser energy vehicle called the body. This vehicle is so dense that we experience it as 3 dimensional solid form. It is also a symbiotic construct which, in order to perform correctly and have the ability to sustain its energy flow, or chi, has a number of 3 dimensional solid form requirements. In the existing environment on this planet almost none of those requirements are being met. With the existing food chain, the body is running on very low energy levels from malnutrition, pollution, and disease in the form of damage from incorrect low level nutrition, as well as the thousands of pathogens, many of which are just doing their natural function of recycling dead, dying, and damaged tissue in our sick bodies.
So, in order to receive and sustain benefit, or lasting benefit from energy, or frequency healing, the body needs to be able to sustain a frequency compatible with a healthy, vibrant existence. It doesn’t work to artificially apply the healthy frequency to a body that cannot sustain that frequency on its own. In that case, as soon as the outside source of frequency is removed, the body will begin to revert to a level compatible for a homeostasis it can sustain, which is where it was before the treatment.
The same is true when applying frequencies designed to kill invading pathogens. If the solid form 3 D environment is not corrected for sustainability, once the pathogens are killed and the frequency is ended, the environment that allowed the organisms to become pathogenic in the first place will again allow a pathogenic overgrowth.
Like a worn out guitar string that can no longer remain in tune, a body that is amino acid and mineral deficient, and pathogenically overloaded, with an internal environment that is extremely toxic, cannot be tuned to hold the resonance of the electrical therapy harmonics of energy or frequency healing.
Replacing the guitar string is actually a simple process once the basic principals are understood. The difficulty lies in altering ones perceptions and allowing the necessary changes to happen. Belief is one of our most subtle energetic functions and the most powerful influence on our condition of overall health.
The harmonics of belief resonate in the entire body all the time and they determine the resonance of daily life. The majority of our beliefs are subconscious and influence our automatic responses, opinions, judgments, fears and the like.
A large portion of the embedded subconscious beliefs that govern much of who we are, could be said to not even be our own. They are implanted in cellular memory and reinforced as the memories are passed from cell to cell through generations who inherit them and pass them on to us. The harmonics of belief can both sabotage and enhance a healing session. They can block the manifestation of a healed condition. Conversely, they can block disease. We all possess inside us the frequencies that define our very consciousness at the energetic level. By reconnecting with this subconscious blueprint, and by providing the corporeal body with the components it needs to assemble these frequencies, we each become our own perfect frequency generators.
Vibrant Health is the remedy for all disease. It begins with a diet that is correct for humans, rather than a corporate structure for profit. Augmenting the diet by replacing the elements that are no longer available in the food chain will reverse malnutrition. Steps can then be taken to kill pathogenic overgrowth while a physical transition takes place in which natural strength and immunity are restored. Then, in a Vibrant condition of health, energy healing and harmonic frequency therapies offer optimal benefit to the body, the body responds well and sustains the beneficial improvement. Additionally, health and wellness are sustained naturally so that frequency therapies can be applied for personal enhancement and the restoration of the vibrant consciousness to enable us all to manifest ourselves as the most complete divine creation that we were all intended to be.
