Geologists have long puzzled over anecdotal reports of strange atmospheric phenomena in the days before big earthquakes. But good data to back up these stories has been hard to come by.
In recent years, however, various teams have set up atmospheric monitoring stations in earthquake zones and a number of satellites are capable of sending back data about the state of the upper atmosphere and the ionosphere during an earthquake.
Last year, we looked at some fascinating data from the DEMETER spacecraft showing a significant increase in ultra-low frequency radio signals before the magnitude 7 Haiti earthquake in January 2010
Today, Dimitar Ouzounov at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre in Maryland and a few buddies present the data from the Great Tohoku earthquake which devastated Japan on 11 March. Their results, although preliminary, are eye-opening.

Is GoDaddy trying to thwart the anti-SOPA boycott?

In a shocking development in the massive boycott being organized over GoDaddy’s support of – not to mention major role in writing – the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), NameCheap has accused GoDaddy of maliciously erecting technical barriers to impede customers’ efforts to leave the registrar.
NameCheap, which I actually use myself as I have never been a supporter of GoDaddy even before their role in the draconian anti-internet freedom legislation known as SOPA in the House and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) in the House, has been a vocal opponent of the legislation.
In fact, NameCheap’s Chief Executive Officer Richard Kirkendall made a remarkably strongly worded statement against SOPA just last week.
“While we at Namecheap firmly believe in intellectual rights, SOPA is like detonating a nuclear bomb on the internet when only a surgical strike is necessary. This legislation has the potential to harm the way everyone uses the Internet and to undermine the system itself,” Kirkendall said.
NameCheap has also acted to capitalize on GoDaddy’s support of SOPA by offering to move concerned customer’s domain names for a mere $6.99 when using the coupon SOPASUCKS and with every transfer they will also donate $1 to the venerable Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) for their anti-SOPA efforts.
The EFF was also behind defending a security researcher when he was targeted by Carrier IQ for revealing the disturbing details of their software which is loaded on smartphones by most major carriers without users’ knowledge, so I find their offer to donate quite encouraging.
NameCheap isn’t alone in moving to tempt customers away from the now quite despicable GoDaddy. Indeed, no less than six companies are offering quite tantalizing discounts for those hoping to hit GoDaddy where it hurts.
With “move your domain day” coming up on December 29, I was a bit surprised to find that over 70,000 domains were moved away from GoDaddy just last week according to CNET.
Despite their early claims that it was not affecting their business, GoDaddy appears to be impacted by the backlash that has ensued due to their support for SOPA, even going as far as to call customers and beg them to return, according to Chris Heald.
The details of the technical barriers being imposed by GoDaddy have already been contested by the company, but NameCheap alleged that “GoDaddy appears to be returning incomplete Whois information to NameCheap, delaying the transfer process.
This is in direct violation of the rules put in place by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), but by yesterday afternoon, NameCheap said that GoDaddy “finally unblocked our queries” so that transfers should “go smoothly” from now on.
GoDaddy has already come out saying that NameCheap “has yet to contact Go Daddy directly, which would be common practice for situations like this,” while a NameCheap community manager refuted this by saying they indeed attempted “reaching out to GoDaddy” but in fact received “no response.”
NameCheap would not say exactly who they contacted at GoDaddy or when they did so, instead Kirkendall sent CNET a statement which said, “all we know on our side is that GoDaddy was preventing us from conducting normal business with our clients, and in turn causing harm to our reputation and at the same time overloading our support channels.”
As I previously covered, GoDaddy backed away from overt support of SOPA due to the massive boycott that has been organized against them, but have notably not gone as far as outright denouncing the legislation.
As TechDirt pointed out, GoDaddy is absurdly hypocritical in purporting to stand against the theft of intellectual property while offering up domains which “are perfect for infringing sites.”
One apt and telling example is seen if you try to buy the domain “Loreal.com” which belongs to the pro-SOPA L’Oréal Group you are offered some other options which would be perfect for a company breaching copyright law like LorealHome.com, LorealTime.com and LorealLife.com along with some country specific domains like Loreal.ag.
CNET also notes that if you search for “Chanel.com” they offer you RealChanel.com as an alternative, which would obviously be perfect for anyone selling products in violation of copyright law.
Before GoDaddy’s attempt to backtrack on their rabid support of SOPA, Godaddy’s General Counsel Christine Jones said that Domain Name System (DNS) blocking is an “effective strategy for disabling access to illegal” websites in her Congressional testimony.
Jones’ statement is a bit ridiculous given that a Firefox add-on called DeSopa has already been developed to circumvent this method of disabling access to allegedly infringing content.
SOPA has also been losing some support among conservatives, including the notoriously conservative think tank the Heritage Foundation which published an article by James Gattuso, a senior research fellow, which warned of “unintended consequences” of the legislation, and he isn’t the only one.
Twitter’s general counsel Alex MacGillivray, also former attorney for Google, came out against SOPA as well, pointing out that one user guilty of copyright infringement could very well cause an entire service to be shut down, with no way for innocent users to recover data.
The opposition to SOPA is clearly growing but unfortunately there are quite powerful lobbies backing up this legislation which could very well end the internet as we know it, something which I said earlier this month which was echoed by Adam Savage of Mythbusters and Popular Mechanics just six days later.
Hopefully coordinated boycotts like the one which is clearly threatening GoDaddy will continue to apply sufficient pressure to the corporations backing the legislation to the point that they will cave and come out openly against it.
Otherwise, we very well might have to install DeSopa and figure a way to get around this brutally restrictive legislation which Savage rightly characterized as “anticonstitutional.”

As we kick off the new year we must step back and take a look at the vast canvass that the big picture is painted on in order to see what the diabolic globalists might have on their itinerary for 2012.
Right out of the gate the picture comes into focus by taking note of the recent avian flu outbreak in Hong Kong and the new mutations found in multiple strains of the 2009 “swine flu”.
HONG KONG – On Saturday a 39-year old man died from a deadly contagious strain of the H5N1 avian flu virus as 17,000 chickens were culled the same day the man was hospitalized and diagnosed with H5N1 as a safety measure.
An excerpt from a CNN article demonstrates how the United Nations (linked to depopulation agendas and genocide through documents/reports) forecast this dreadful event;
This summer, the United Nations warned of a possible resurgence of the virus — which peaked in 2006, at one point infecting people in 63 countries — saying there are indications a mutant strain may be spreading in Asia.
A variant strain of H5N1 — which can apparently bypass the defenses of current vaccines — had appeared as of late August in Vietnam and China, reported the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
The most disturbing part is that the man had not traveled outside the city or had any contact with poultry according to CNN’sreport:
The man had not traveled out of the city of Shenzhen, nor did he have direct contact with poultry in the month before he came down with the fever, according to the department.
There have also been recent mutations occurring in various flu strains worldwide. A CIDRAP excerpt reads;
Alongside last week’s confirmation of another novel flu infection with an H3N2 variant, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) launched a series of documents to advise health and lab workers on how to identify and report new cases.
On Dec 23 the CDC confirmed two more novel flu infections, including in a West Virginia child with a swine-origin H3N2 reassortant strain (H3N2v) that includes the M gene from the 2009 H1N1 virus. The youngster was a daycare contact of an H3N2v case reported on Dec 9, and the newly confirmed case pushed the nation’s H3N2v total to 12 so far.
The other novel flu infection involved a swine-origin H1N1 variant (H1N1v) that had also acquired the M gene from the 2009 H1N1 virus. The CDC said the patient, an adult from Wisconsin who had occupational exposure to swine, was the first detection of the H1N1v strain in a human.
On the same day the CDC announced the two novel flu cases, it released documents that address preventing seasonal and H3N2v in healthcare settings, interim guidance on H3N2v specimen collection and testing, and interim case definitions for investigating H3N2v infections.
Most H3N2v infections have been mild, and only 3 of the 12 patients were hospitalized, the CDC said. Though it’s not clear if cases will become more common, it’s possible that healthcare providers will care for patients who have H3N2v infections, it added.
So far there is no evidence that H3N2v transmission characteristics are different from seasonal flu, so the CDC advises that facilities use the same infection control procedures as for seasonal flu to help guard against the spread of H3N2v, including the vaccination of healthcare workers. However, it added that the seasonal flu vaccine may provide limited protection against H3N2v in adults and no protection in children.
Given that limited person-to-person spread of H3N2v seems to be occurring, especially in children, the CDC released interim guidance designed to streamline its detection and investigation. It advised state and local health departments to use the CDC’s real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) panel to screen for influenza A, influenza B, and ribonuclease P (an indicator of specimen adequacy), then use its influenza A subtyping kit, employing all primer and probe sets.
Consistent gearing-up from governments worldwide toward pandemic preparedness at rapid rates since 2009 have been taking place behind the scenes as it has been documented that American government has prepared mass graves for U.S. citizens in case of a major catastrophic event such as a nuclear disaster or flu pandemic.
The World Health Organization has now openly admitted in a USA Today excerpt that Tamiflu is useless;
“In 2007/2008, a different A(H1N1) influenza virus developed Tamiflu-resistance,” explained WHO research scientist Aeron C. Hurt, who reported the spike. “On that occasion, it was first detected in large numbers in Europe. However, within 12 months the virus had spread globally, such that virtually every A(H1N1) virus around the world was resistant to this drug,” he explained.
“This previous situation demonstrated the speed and potential for a Tamiflu-resistant virus to spread worldwide,” Hurt added. “Our concern is that this current pandemic 2009 A(H1N1) Tamiflu-resistant virus may also spread globally.”
Meanwhile in the United States, multiple new cases of H1N1 has been reported at the same time that the U.S. government has warned about a potential bioweapon attack.
It is evident that the powers that shouldn’t be are now posturing to be able to go hot with full on control-grid, concentration camp style martial law in an effort to silence the populace from the uprising of truth.
Some professionals have raised speculation that the 2009 “Swine Flu” outbreak was a primer used as a catalyst in a two-part bio-weapon to later be used to exterminate portions of world populace.
Henry Kissinger kicked off this idea in “The Kissinger Report” (NSSM 200), where he shows world population numbers of 12 – 15 billion worldwide around the year 2000, to be held at a target goal of 6 – 8 billion.
134 nations participated by signing on to the agenda back in 1974, a fact that was recently detailed by The Intel Hub in an article entitled “Potbelly Globalists Want You Dead“.
The deeper truth is the fact that U.S. or foreign troops may fire on American citizens in the name of a protecting the country as a whole during a major “pandemic”.
And remember, technically we are still at a pandemic level 6 which was extended until March of 2012.

A new law just passed in Massachusetts imposes fines of up to $1000 per day and up to a 30 day jail sentence for not obeying authorities during a public health emergency. So if you are instructed to take the swine flu vaccine in Massachusetts and you refuse, you could be facing fines that will bankrupt you and a prison sentence on top of that
It has been previously proven that the 2009 H1N1 was manufactured as reported by Russia Today. The potential to increase sales by the vaccine industry is a big motive, but why the weaponization? The 2009 H1N1 was gene spliced and displayed unique characteristics, rapidly mutating in humans by design.
When will the second component be added? How will it be added? Through the water, air, vaccines, food?
Another nefarious billionaire John D. Rockefeller has been instrumental in the diabolic agenda as well, innovating a mixture of depopulation with profiteering as outlined by Henry Kissinger.
The globalists can actually make more money with less of us, as where we would be more manageable to the hierarchy of globalist oligarchs.
