No chance of Occupy convictions behind charges being dropped: Crown

Eleven Occupy Nova Scotia protestors arrested during last fall’s eviction at Victoria Park in Halifax have all had their charges withdrawn.

Prosecutor Rick Woodburn said on Wednesday after he analyzed all of the evidence in the case, he concluded there was no real prospect of a conviction.

The charges were withdrawn against the 11 people in Halifax provincial court on Wednesday morning.
