The Global Research Website was Hacked

The Global Research website as well as our French language website mondialisation.ca were hacked yesterday.
This was the work of an “independent hacker” who visibly does not like the content of our website. Neither the security of our server nor our data bank were in any way affected. The service was promptly restored.
A slowdown was also experienced in the early hours of Friday morning due to the unusually large traffic, which has developed since the launch of our new website template on September 1st.
Our apologies for this inconvenience. We are working hard to ensure that these technical disruptions do not occur in the future.
More generally, our team is working around the clock, late at night, early in the morning, with a view to bringing accurate and timely news and analysis to our readers Worldwide.
A lot of work has gone into writing, researching and editing, with a view to reaching a broad readership.

The aftermath of NATO’s assistance in North Africa is plenty of weapons in Mali, it is more Al Qaeda types who have taken control of Northern Mali. Now the French, the Algerians and the EU have all voiced support for a military intervention.
