The Next War: Destination “Lebanon”

The New York times reported that a powerful bomb devastated a Christian neighborhood of Lebanon’s capital on Friday October 19, 2012, killing an intelligence official long viewed as an enemy by neighboring Syria and unnerving as Syria’s sectarian-fueled civil war threatened to engulf the region.
The blast which sheared off the face of buildings, killed at least eight people, wounded 80 and transformed a quiet tree-lined street in to a scene reminiscent of Lebanon’s long civil war. Within hours of the attack the Lebanese authorities said the dead included the intelligence chief of the country’s internal security service, Brig. Gen. Wissam Al-Hassan 47, spurring accusations that the Syrian government had assassinated him for recently uncovering what the authorities said was a Syrian plot to provoke unrest in Lebanon. They wanted to get him, and they got him, “said Paul Salem a regional analyst with the Carnegie Middle East Center.” [1]
The Associated Press reported that the Friday blast was a reminder of Lebanon’s grim history, when the 1975-1990 Civil War made the country notorious for kidnappings, car bombs, and political assassinations. The associated Press went on to say that even the war’s end, Lebanon has been a proxy battleground for the regional conflicts, and the seaside capital has been a prey to sudden and often unexplained violence shattering periods of calm. As usual State Department spokes-woman Victoria Nuland condemned the bombing. She said the U.S. had no information about the perpetrators. Meanwhile, Syrian information minister Omran Al-Zouebi denounced the bombing, calling it a “terrorist and cowardly” attack. At the same time, Syria’s top ally in Lebanon the Shiite Hezbollah movement also condemned the attack expressing its “state of great shock over this terrible crime.” [2]
Analysis
As in every crime scene we need to first assess who the instigators might be, and who would benefit from these acts of violence. Should we just gather the usual suspects and bury the truth? Or should we expand our horizon and explore other possible suspects.
Ironically and for decades, most of the sudden acts of violence in Lebanon have been committed by unknown hands and have gone unclaimed, leaving room for speculation and accusations, which is a convenient way to lay the blame on a specific person, group, party, sect, or country, resulting in the creation of a mistrustful and paranoid atmosphere that reinforces divisiveness.
It is no secret that Lebanon’s relationship with Syria has been toxic for many years despite the proximity between the two countries and the political declarations by their politicians who pronounce them as two closely-knitted nations.
Syria has been engulfed for the past year in an alleged civil unrest aiming at regime change just like in Egypt, Iraq, Libya and other neighboring Arab Countries under the guise of a revolutionary Arab spring financed by Western and Saudi money. These sham revolutions have been instigated, fueled, and staged by western powers and their proxies in the Middle East like the Israelis and the Saudis.
The Western intelligence agencies in Syria as in Libya, Egypt, and Iraq have unleashed once again their mercenaries known otherwise as the Mujahedeen or Al Quaeda fighters who were once trained and financed by the Central Intelligence Agency, Mossad, and other Western Intelligence apparatus to fight Soviet Troops during the Soviet-Afghani war in the 1980s. These mercenaries have been moved from one hot spot to another to fuel and destabilize countries that are not fully aligned with US policies. The destabilization process usually begins with instigation, bribes to local politicians and peasants to create a fertile breeding ground for recruiting criminals who become well-paid resistance fighters. Subsequently, the undesirable regimes will buckle and their leaders are dethroned and assassinated. Meanwhile the US media is grooming and preparing the American public to accept and support another low intensity conflict in a far region of the earth. By the time they are done the public is fearful and fully behind their president to take down another evildoer that threatens American interest and sovereignty. Remember that you have to give a dog a bad name before you kill him. The media is always ready for this entertaining task that terrifies the proles and improves their ratings. You must also realize that people love pseudo-wars that are easily won, because they vicariously act out their instinctual aggression through these military exercises called wars by our politicians and the media.
Mr. Obama doesn’t need another mini-war or a terror attack to win this coming election despite the multimillion dollar theatrics of a pseudo-democracy. His inept opponent was picked by the elite to ensure an easy win, because Mr. Obama has continued his predecessor’s policies and completely fulfilled what is expected of him despite the caustic rhetoric that get the proles excited. Therefore, and after the election is over, Syria, the poor country with no significant resources that borders Israel, an old Soviet client, and a current Russian ally will be fully embroiled in deeper violence that will eventually obliterate its secular regime that was once supported by the U.S., which will result in a total disintegration of that country into small, fanatic, allegedly independent, and homogeneous principalities bickering with each other and under the indirect control of the Israeli Zionist regime. The Western plan for the Middle East coincides with Yinon’s vision to redraw the region and the new re-mapping has to go through Syria.
Lebanon and Iran will follow. Iran would be the toughest to divide because of its homogenous Shiite population, but the nuclear weapon card will be played to its fullest.
Lebanon’s alleged past “Civil War” was a financed prototype for balkanizing countries, and a prospective model for the entire region and the world. Unfortunately, Lebanon that was once called the Switzerland of the Mediterranean will never have peace and will continue to have bloodshed until “Hezbollah” “God’s party” is totally disarmed and destroyed in order to ensure the security of Israel and the re-division of that country. The Israeli intelligence has been extremely active in Lebanon for years in a continuous effort to destabilize it, or to create incidents of provocation that will justify an invasion of the country or an assassination of powerful Lebanese political figures.
Meanwhile, the great Colonial Western Powers will deem these financed and pre-planned conflicts in the Middle East as zealous, barbaric and uncivilized, which will give them high moral ground and the green light to justify and maintain their blood sucking strategy to impoverish these nations and send them back into the middle ages. Ironically, these western nations that claim sophistication and magnificence acquire their superpower through their innate and natural parasitic mechanism that allows them to forcibly or manipulatively attach themselves to any host country and suck the blood (oil, resources, gold, etc) out of it, then, slowly leave it to die. At the same time, these resource vampires arrogantly promulgate their new aristocracies on the graves of other nations, and proclaim grandeur and superiority by attributing it to their Christian love, morality, and democratic ideology.
Finally, Lebanon will continue to bleed as the whole Middle East will continue to hemorrhage until every drop of oil and resource are totally depleted, and then and only then, the Near East where the dawn of Western Civilization began will be left alone to quietly perish.

Times So Tough Some Families Schedule ‘No Food Days’
What would it be like to schedule a ‘no food’ day for your family due to skyrocketing food prices?
By Shepard Ambellas

October 13, 2012
As men play with god-like powers such as weather modification, parts of the world suffer from drought and famine.
Coincidence or Not?
In some parts of the US and the world crop yields are at all time lows not seen since the 1970′s.
In fact, parts of the country have also sustained record drought levels in 2012.
SouthCoastToday.com reports;
CHICAGO — Drought damage to corn and soybean fields in the United States, the world’s top grower and exporter, is eroding supplies of the nation’s two largest crops to below year-earlier consumption levels for the first time since 1974.
The government is expected to say today that the U.S. corn harvest and inventories on Sept. 1 will be a combined 11.604 billion bushels, less than the 12.33 billion consumed and exported last year, according to a Bloomberg survey of 31 analysts.
Soybean supplies will be 2.932 billion bushels, below the 3.157 billion used in 2011.
Supplies failed to top usage from the previous year only twice since 1960 for corn and five times for soybeans, U.S. Department of Agriculture data show.
Record heat in June and July sparked the worst drought since 1956, sending corn and soybeans prices to record highs.
Morgan Stanley predicted corn may rally 35 percent in a year, while Barclays Plc sees soybeans gaining 16 percent.
Higher costs for dairies, grain processors and livestock producers helped send global food prices in September to the highest since March, United Nations data show.
Our Planet is Being Terraformed
Although technology has allowed men to posses god-like powers, most are not mature or sane enough to use them.
Bilderberg member and globalist adviser Henry Kissinger, in his now infamous National Security Study Memorandum 200 white paper, detailed how food shortages, drought, and famine would affect the population globally in years to come.
Now declassified this study has since unfolded literally right before our eyes.
Was Kissinger a visionary, or was he significant in forming a blueprint for a sinister global depopulation agenda?
Are more food shortages to come?
Kurt Nimmo wrote;
In an article posted on the Hindustan Times website, N. Chandra Mohan cites Mark Thirwell, Director of the International Economy Program at the Lowy Institute for International Policy in Sydney, Australia.
“This is not the first time in modern economic history that the Malthusian spectre of global food shortages has stalked the world economy,” writes Thirwell.
“Surges in food prices in the 1970s and then again in the mid-1990s both prompted warnings that agricultural capacity was failing to keep pace with a growing world population. Each time the prices jumped, it proved to be temporary as supply responded.”
Mr. Mohan believes, this time around, there will be no supply ready to respond. He links this dire situation to “policy neglect of agriculture” and “climate and environmental degradation.”
Thirwell essentially concurs with Kissinger’s memo.
Now, here in 2012, things have spiraled down to a whole new level as some families are holding out on eating 1 day a week due to economic and or food related hardships.
An Independent article excerpt reads;
World grain prices have risen so high that families in poorer countries are being forced to schedule “food-free days” each week, according to one of the leading experts on global agriculture.
The extreme rationing is an “an unprecedented manifestation of food stress,” according to Lester Brown, president of the Washington-based Earth Policy Institute, and the most respected environmental observer of food and agricultural trends.
While regional food shortages are far from uncommon, the sheer number of people in the developing world who can no longer afford to eat every day has appalled humanitarian workers.
“We have not seen this before, where a family systematically schedules days where they do not eat, when they know they can’t buy enough every day so they decide at the beginning of the week, this week we won’t eat on Wednesday or we won’t eat on Saturday,” Mr Brown said yesterday.

Syria refers Terrorism to U.N. Security Council
nsnbc
October 19, 2012
SANA – nsnbc. On Thursday the Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry addressed two identical letters to the President of the Security Council and the UN Secretary General Ban Kyi-moon. The letters contained evidence on the involvement of foreign countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, in supporting and arming terrorist groups in Syria.
In the letters, the Foreign Ministry states that these countries aiding of terrorist organizations is hindering dialog and obstructing peaceful solutions. The aiding of terrorist organizations, so Syria´s Foreign Ministry, is harming the Syrian state at material and humanitarian levels. The Ministry stated, that supporting terrorism and the arming terrorists in Syria has become overt and that it went so far as to urge others to get involved, which has been made clear in the statements of officials in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
The letter continues by stating that the Ministry, in line with previous letters, informs the President of the UN-Security Council and the UN Secretary General about that the terrorist attacks in all its components are backed by some regional and international powers and countries, and that the Ministry would like to remind that the continuity of the terrorist attacks claim the lives of many innocent military personnel and civilians, and destroy the infrastructure of the country, including archaeological and historical treasures on which existence the Syrian state has spent vast human and material resources to secure their preservation.
The letter continues: “It has been clear to all, that those who are behind targeting Syria are the same countries which stress the importance of devising the appropriate international mechanisms to combat terrorism with all possible means. Evidence on involvement of foreign countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, in supporting and arming the terrorist groups in Syria has recently increased, not to mention their contribution to hindering dialog and peaceful solutions and harming the Syrian state at material and humanitarian levels,”
The Ministry added that statements by officials from Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey have elicited that these countries have gone as far as to overtly encourage others to get involved in terrorism against Syria The Ministry is pointing toward the report of a BBC reporter in Aleppo, who witnessed and reported about weapons shipments from the Saudi Arabian military that had been diverted to armed terrorist groups in the city on the 9th of October.
The Ministry added that French President Francois Hollande admitted the presence of French terrorists among the ranks of the so-called Free Syrian Army in Syria in a statement to the French TV5Monde and France24 TV Channels on Thursday 11th October 2012. The British Foreign Minister William Hague also admitted the intentions of some British extremists to join the fighting in Syria on October 10th, 2012.

‘600 killed in Bani Walid fighting in one day’ – sources
Russia Today
October 25, 2012

Amid conflicting reports that the Libyan city of Bani Walid was captured by army forces, RT has learned that 600 people were allegedly killed in Wednesday’s fighting, and over 1,000 have been hospitalized. Locals are appealing for international aid.
Libyan officials claimed that government forces conducted a 20-day siege before capturing Bani Walid, the last stronghold for supporters of the Gaddafi regime, and seized the city. Sources in the town gave conflicting reports, saying that local militias were responsible for the siege and now control of the area.
“We continue to receive conflicting reports. From sources on the ground, we’re hearing that the army is withdrawing from the city, although we are hearing of widespread killings. Government sources say the city has fallen,” RT correspondent in neighboring Lebanon, Paula Slier, said.
When asked why the West is ignoring the massacres in Bani Walid, US Department of State Spokesperson Victoria Nuland told RT that Washington is “watching the situation very closely” while its position on this situation remains “absolutely clear.”
“We support the efforts of the Libyan government to get control of militias and to provide security throughout the country, including in Bani Walid, and to do so in a way that is respectful of the human rights of all citizens and allows humanitarian organizations to get in,” Nuland said.
An individual in Italy who allegedly has relatives in Bani Walid spoke to RT about the current state of the city. Calling himself ‘Alwarfally’ – referring to a tribe from Bani Walid – he asked to remain anonymous for the interview.
He said he contacted his family in the besieged city, who told him that the situation there has stabilized: The militia retreated, but only after kidnapping a local member of the ‘Council of the Elders,’ which was tasked by Bani Walid’s tribal leaders with governing the city after the fall of Gaddafi.

“Bani Walid’s people got the control of the city again,” Alwarfally told RT. “[The] situation in Bani Walid is better now. Militia fell back after the fight that happened yesterday, and everything is good.”
“Militia kidnapped the consul of Bani Walid, his health is poor,” he said. “They will take him to Misrata and I don’t know what will happen to him. He is a very good man. He didn’t have anything to do with what happened, he is just a council member in Bani Walid.”
The Misrata militia that allegedly laid siege to Bani Walid was the same group accused of war crimes by Human Rights Watch last week.

Alwarfally also claimed that at least hundreds of people were killed during the 20-day siege.
“The number is really big,” he said. “One the first day that [the militia] came, there were about 70 bodies from the fighting. Yesterday night there was 600.”
“The number of people in the hospitals is over 1000,” he added.
An eyewitness in Bani Walid – who called herself Fatima – had a very different story to tell. She said the situation in the town is anything but stable.
“These are not governmental forces. These are militias and armed gangsters surrounding Bani Walid without any legitimacy. The media is prohibited from reporting on what’s happening in the city. The situation is horrible. Crimes are committed. Communications were deliberately cut in order for these gangsters to prevent any person from communicating what is really happening. They are bulldozing houses. They’re setting houses on fire, stealing everything they can find. They’ve committed massacres, killing as many people as they could,” she told RT.
Whether government forces or militias are behind the violence, video footage from the town paints a very graphic picture.
“Some of the photos and video we’ve been receiving show dismembered bodies and children who have been killed. Some of that footage is coming from Bani Walid television,” Slier said.
Militias blockaded the town for the past 20 days in an attempt to locate those responsible for the death of Omran Shaaban – the man credited with capturing Muammar Gaddafi last year. The Warfalla tribe controlling Bani Walid was accused of kidnapping and torturing Shaaban.
The people of Bani Walid have been appealing for help from the international community.
“People here in Bani Walid want to return to their homes. They say that their city is totally destroyed. Nevertheless, they want to go back and live in the wreckage. They refuse to be driven out of the city. Secondly, they request all humanitarian organizations, including the UN, to come to Bani Walid and see the destruction for themselves and see the devastation. We need immediate aide. We need humanitarian assistance urgently,” Fatima said.
Aid efforts were stopped by the US earlier this week when Washington blocked a draft statement, proposed by Russia, on the resolution of violence in Bani Walid. The statement called for a peaceful solution to the conflict.
