If you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the “economic collapse”, just open up your eyes and look at what is happening in Europe. The entire continent is a giant economic mess right now. Unemployment and poverty levels are setting record highs, car sales are setting record lows, and there is an ocean of bad loans and red ink everywhere you look. Over the past several years, most of the attention has been on the economic struggles of Greece, Spain and Portugal and without a doubt things continue to get even worse in those nations. But in 2014 and 2015, Italy and France will start to take center stage. France has the 5th largest economy on the planet, and Italy has the 9th largest economy on the planet, and at this point both of those economies are rapidly falling to pieces. Expect both France and Italy to make major headlines throughout the rest of 2014. I have always maintained that the next major wave of the economic collapse would begin in Europe, and that is exactly what is happening. The following are just a few of the statistics that show that an “economic collapse” is happening in Europe right now…
-The unemployment rate in the eurozone as a whole is still sitting at an all-time record high of 12.1 percent.
-It Italy, the unemployment rate has soared to a brand new all-time record high of 12.7 percent.
-The youth unemployment rate in Italy has jumped up to 41.6 percent.
-The level of poverty in Italy is now the highest that has ever been recorded.
-Many analysts expect major economic trouble in Italy over the next couple of years. The President of Italy is openly warning of “widespread social tension and unrest” in his nation in 2014.
-Citigroup is projecting that Italy’s debt to GDP ratio will surpass 140 percent by the year 2016.
-Citigroup is projecting that Greece’s debt to GDP ratio will surpass 200 percent by the year 2016.
-Citigroup is projecting that the unemployment rate in Greece will reach 32 percent in 2015.
-The unemployment rate in Spain is still sitting at an all-time record high of 26.7 percent.
-The youth unemployment rate in Spain is now up to 57.7 percent – even higher than in Greece.
-The percentage of bad loans in Spain has risen for eight straight months and recently hit a brand new all-time record high of 13 percent.
-The number of mortgage applications in Spain has fallen by 90 percent since the peak of the housing boom.
-The unemployment rate in France has risen for 9 quarters in a row and recently soared to a new 16 year high.
-For 2013, car sales in Europe were on pace to hit the lowest yearly level ever recorded.
-Deutsche Bank, probably the most important bank in Germany, is the most highly leveraged bank in Europe (60 to 1) and it has approximately 70 trillion dollars worth of exposure to derivatives.
Europe truly is experiencing an economic nightmare, and it is only going to get worse.
It would be hard to put into words the extreme desperation that unemployed workers throughout Europe are feeling right now. When you can’t feed your family and you can’t find work no matter how hard you try, it can be absolutely soul crushing.

The issue of Morgellons contagion has recently emerged as a source of increasing worry among professional researchers. Contagion also remains a source of high anxiety and life altering concern among those suffering from the ravages of this nightmare affliction.
Since the beginning of the decade, the reported numbers of Morgellons cases have shown a consistent and alarmingly relentless increase. Registration data maintained by the Morgellons Research Foundation reveals a pronounced and disturbing spike in reported cases in just the last several years. These numbers cannot be explained away as simply “increased” public awareness.
Well over ten thousand reported Morgellons cases are now extant in the MRF data base. Yet, these statistics may well prove to be the proverbial tip of the “contagion” iceberg. It is estimated by some knowledgeable researchers that the true numbers of active Morgellons cases around the world could exceed the number of reported cases by a ratio of more than one hundred to one. The number of passive cases (non-symptomatic) may possibly defy quantification.
How Morgellons vectors itself remains poorly-understood partially due to the fact that, not unlike HIV, it often appears to have an incubation period that can range from a number of months to a number of years. Nonetheless, the statistics remain undeniable. Morgellons is contagious. Morgellons is not the result of “spontaneous” infection nor “immaculate conception.
It is important to remember that the debilitating psychological, emotional manifestations of Morgellons are the quantitative “effect” of its advancement and not the cause of its “symptomology.” Like syphilis and chronic Lyme disease, Morgellons manifests itself physiologically, and in its advanced stages, psychologically.
Whatever the original genesis of Morgellons may have been, evidence increasingly indicates that the propagation of Morgellons is enabled by a wide variety of environmental, mechanical, and human factors. It is thoroughly documented that body secretions of victims are highly contaminated with the produce and forms of this parasitic affliction. Extended contact with these secretions is likely a primary source of new infection.
Morgellons may not limit itself to simply one method of propagation. Once established, this mutant pathogen appears to be an equal opportunity employer of a number of independent vectors. Free standing sticky traps often collect the Morgellons fibers in open air venues, thus indicating a possible air-born potential. Certain agricultural products as well as many Insects are often contaminated by Morgellons and have been implicated as potential secondary vectors. Mosquitos, fleas, spiders and other biting insects also seem to have the frightening ability to transfer Morgellons to a new host.
Interestingly enough, it has been well-documented that Morgellons, in its advanced stages, attacks and kills many insects who have initially served to vector it. Morgellons regularly infects cats, dogs and other animals with which humans come into daily contact. Morgellons is particularly hard on cold blooded animals. It has been known to quickly kill lizards and amphibians. With this in mind, it is safe to assume that human contact with these secondary sources of infection can serve to further inculcate the infection.

Wal-Mart recalls donkey meat tainted with fox meat from stores in China

(NaturalNews) As if anyone even needs yet another reason to be wary of the food coming out of China, Reuters is reporting that Wal-Mart customers there are outraged to learn that their donkey meat was recently found to contain “the DNA of other animals,” including fox.
Wal-Mart issued an apology and has announced that customers who purchased “Five Spice” donkey meat will be reimbursed. Confoundedly, Reuters went on to note, “The scandal could dent Wal-Mart’s reputation for quality in China’s $1 trillion food and grocery market….” Really?
China and Wal-Mart: an inimitable combination to say the least
Wal-Mart has been involved in everything from child labor scandals and mislabeling organic products to being fined over $80 million earlier this year for violating EPA regulations on improperly disposing hazardous waste. Currently, the company is under a Department of Justice investigation over possible Foreign Corrupt Policies Act violations regarding some $24 million in bribes to build 19 stores in Mexico and other alleged misconduct in Brazil, India and, again, China. Closer to home, the media was splashed around the holidays by reports that Wal-Mart stores across the U.S. were setting up donation boxes for employees to give Thanksgiving food… to other Wal-Mart employees who couldn’t afford a decent Thanksgiving dinner, because apparently they don’t earn enough.
China’s food and drug scandals read like a House of Horrors checklist. Babies dying from industrial chemical-tainted infant formula? Check. Rat meat sold as lamb meat? Check. Some 600 dogs dropping dead after eating pet jerky treats made in China? Check. Glow-in-the-dark blue “Avatar” pork? Check. “Gutter oil” scavenged from drains beneath Chinese restaurants being using to cook one of every ten meals in Chinese restaurants? Check. Farmed, powdered cockroaches being sold to pharmaceutical companies as medicine? Check. The list goes on and on.
But China has perhaps become most well-known lately for its vast amounts of air, soil and water pollution. Shanghai recently suffered what the media dubbed an “airpocalypse” – choking, toxic smog so heavy and thick that it closed down major airports, roadways and public schools for over a week. A deputy minister of China’s Ministry of Land and Resources has also just announced that 3.3 million hectares of Chinese farmland is so polluted, it is literally unsafe to grow crops on it. Estimates are that a whopping 90 percent of groundwater supplying China’s cities is severely contaminated, to the point that Chinese people reportedly do not even trust the bottled water sold there. NGOs, Chinese media and academics have estimated that China is home to over 450 “cancer villages” – residential areas built up around power, chemical or pharmaceutical plants where people are riddled with above-average levels of illness and disease. The Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection even mentioned these villages in one of its latest reports.
There are no limits on how close crops can be grown to chemical plants or how much pollution the water spayed on crops can contain in China. All of that toxic runoff and pollution finds its way into rivers and soil used to grow Chinese crops and feed livestock. The food and water is ingested by the Chinese people, and that food is exported to the rest of the world as well.
Chinese food failures coming to a grocery store near you?
As Natural News has reported before, you may be eating more food imported from China than you think. Back in 2007, CNN declared that avoiding Chinese food ingredients is nearly impossible. The U.S. imports billions in food from China every year.
Just a few months ago, the USDA announced its intention to allow processed, cooked chicken from China to be exported to the U.S., as the agency determined that China’s poultry inspection process is “equivalent to that of the United States”.
The “certified organic” label has also come under scrutiny (and rightfully so) after it was revealed that the USDA was licensing organic certifiers to operate in China as well. These certifiers may have rules about whether or not added petroleum-based fertilizers, pesticides or synthetic hormones in the case of animal feed are allowed; they are not required to test for limits on toxic heavy metals like arsenic, mercury, lead or cadmium – heavy metals found contaminating the food grown in China all the time. The FDA wouldn’t know anyway, considering that the agency inspects less than 2 percent of the food imported from China.
Stories like fox-tainted donkey meat just continue to highlight the fact that, if its marked “Made in China,” it’s a safe bet you don’t know what’s in it.
