Kiev, Ukraine’s Independence Square, also known as Euromaidan, is still occupied by people demanding closer integration with Europe and the resignation of President Viktor Yanukovich and his government. Molotov cocktails, rubber bullets, and men in masks can be seen on either side of the tent camps and barricades that divide the city’s central square from the outside world. But who are the ‘peaceful’ demonstrators occupying Maidan? RT’s crew managed to visit both sides of the barricades and to hear from residents of the Ukrainian capital.
