Accused in Russian diplomat stabbing released from jail

Ottawa police arrested Kevin Martin, 32, in the early morning hours last Friday at an apartment building on Stewart Street.
Martin’s lawyer, Michael Davies, asked for a publication ban which prohibits the circumstances of the incident from being published. He told reporters outside the courthouse he doesn’t want the evidence out in the public domain in case the matter is brought before a jury.
