VIDEO — Alternative Media Under Attack! Someone Trying to Set-up Truthstream Media

TRUTHstreammedia
November 14, 2013

Following reports that someone was trying to set-up WeAreChange’s Luke Rudkowski and OathKeepers’ Stewart Rhodes, as well as an eerie e-mail from a group calling themselves “Political Hackerz Squad” claiming that it was trying to set-up dozens of alternative media figures with child porn (and claiming credit for attacks on Rudkowski/Rhodes), Truthstream Media was alerted that email attachments are being sent to prominent people posing as “Melissa Melton” and appearing to request an interview before attaching alleged child porn sent out by unknown provocateurs. These agents declared that they were “soldiers in a digital war”; in the case of Truthstream, they used an e-mail that doesn’t belong to our site but appears to as it used Melissa’s name. Please know that we are under attack; we need your prayers and support.

PLEASE NOTE that any e-mail attachments claiming to be from Truthstream Media are fraudulent and may be part of an attempt to discredit or set-up us or others in the alternative media. PLEASE DO NOT open any attachments as the

Fluoridation is unproven, unsafe, unnatural, unnecessary and unethical.

Fluoridation is also grossly unlawful using an unregulated and unapproved chemical: it does not have a DIN as all medicines should have.

It is not approved as a water additive in the manner that all water additives must be.

Water is for everyone: fluoride is not.

VIDEO — Luke Rudkowski’s Hotel Room Broken Into, Computer Compromised

Activist Post
November 2, 2013

YouTube – WeAreChange

We think it’s best that we make this public for the safety of Luke Rudkowski during his travels abroad. Other important things to note is that the Wi-Fi that Luke’s computer was on was established a day before the hack with a pass code that only he and the other speakers he mentions had access to, that was established by them and no one else. Which makes the case for a remote hack very unlikely. Other computers were also on the scene and active but Luke’s was the only one visibly targeted.

Also this looks like an unprofessional job due to leaving the obvious tracks of intrusion, but from the looks of the scripts that were ran they were definitely not amateurs. Because of multiple attempts to set up Luke in his career we think it’s best to make this situation public. This situation is extremely weird surrounding the circumstances and that’s why we decided to go public with it.

Mozilla Releases Tool That Shows Who Is Tracking Your Online Activity

by Terry Wilson
Canadian Awareness Network
October 28, 2013

Mozilla has released a free add on called Lightbeam. The add on allows users to view a real time chart of any tracking information being added to your computer in the form of cookies.

The chart gives users a clear view of all third party tracking cookies that are used for targeted advertising, among many other uses.

Mark Surman, Mozilla’s executive director, shas stated: “It’s a stake in the ground in terms of letting people know the ways they are being tracked. At Mozilla, we believe everyone should be in control of their user data and privacy and we want people to make informed decisions about their Web experience.”

Here is the about section from the Lightbeam webpage:

About this Add-on
Using interactive visualizations, Lightbeam enables you to see the first and third party sites you interact with on the Web. As you browse, Lightbeam reveals the full depth of the Web today, including parts that are not transparent to the average user. Using three distinct interactive graphic representations — Graph, Clock and List — Lightbeam enables you to examine individual third parties over time and space, identify where they connect to your online activity and provides ways for you to engage with this unique view of the Web.

How Lightbeam Works
When you activate Lightbeam and visit a website, sometimes called the first party, the add-on creates a real time visualization of all the third parties that are active on that page. The default visualization is called the Graph view. As you then browse to a second site, the add-on highlights the third parties that are also active there and shows which third parties have seen you at both sites. The visualization grows with every site you visit and every request made from your browser. In addition to the Graph view, you can also see your data in a Clock view to examine connections over a 24-hour period or in a List view to drill down into individual sites.

How You Can Use Lightbeam to Help Us Illuminate the Inner Workings of the Web
As a part of Lightbeam, we’re creating a big-picture view of how tracking works on the Internet, and how third-party sites are connected to multiple other sites. You may contribute your data to our crowdsourced directory by simply turning on the share switch within the add-on. To disable crowdsourcing, you can turn it off at any time. You can view your local data stored within Lightbeam at any time, or save your data by clicking the “Save” button under the data section on the left side of the add-on.
addons.mozilla.org

Lightbeam as it stands if only for desktop browsers and Apple has rejected from its apps store, by developers which incorporate “cookie tracking” technology.

After the Snowden revelations this looks to be a good first step towards online privacy!

Victory! New York Capitol Unanimously Passes Anti-NDAA Resolution

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ALBANY, NY – On October 7, 2013, the Albany, NY Common Council unanimously passed Resolution 80.92.13, becoming the first city in America to prohibit indefinite military detention without charge or trial, specifically under the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act, to declare it is not a “battlefield” and resolve that its citizens and residents are not subject to “detention under the law of war.”

The 2012 National Defense Authorization Act was overwhelmingly passed by Congress and signed into law by President Barack Obama on December 31, 2011. The 2012 NDAA declares the United States to be a battlefield in the war on terror and Sections 1021 & 1022 authorize the indefinite detention, without charge or trial, of all persons, including American citizens, accused by the President of undefined “support” for terrorist activity or commission of a ‘belligerent act”.  This violates multiple provisions of the US Constitution, in addition to the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th and 14th amendments.

People Against the NDAA (PANDA), a national, nonpartisan, grass roots organization founded in January 2012, is committed to reversing the NDAA’s unconstitutional authorizations with activism to affect policy at the state and local government level.  PANDA started in Bowling Green, OH and has since expanded into over 30 state teams nationwide.

Unlike in California, Alaska, and other states that purported to block the NDAA, but only require the state to stand down and allow Federal officials to implement it nonetheless, Resolution 80.92.13 recognizes the application of the Law of War to residents/citizens of Albany to be unConstitutional. Now that they know this is unConstitutional, every peace officer, elected official, or other person who takes an Oath to the U.S. Constitution in the City of Albany is required to interpose against those attempting to implement military detention or the “law of war” in Albany.

Under the Constitution, instead of mere noncompliance, this resolution requires interposition to protect the rights of the people and stop the Federal government from implementing military detention in the city. Period.

This is the strongest piece of legislation in the United States to date to prohibit the indefinite military detention power in the United States. 11th Ward Councilman Anton Konev, who introduced the resolution, said:

“Indefinite detention for any reason is unConstitutional and cannot be allowed. At least here in Albany we believe in those liberties our armed forces fought so hard for.”

This resolution was a collaborative effort between PANDA, the Patriot Coalition, Project SALAM, Jesse Calhoun, the Occupy Albany Civil Liberties Initiative, 518 Liberty Action Alliance, Campaign for Liberty New York, many other organizations, and numerous citizens from Albany and around the nation who flooded the council with calls, emails, written letters, and showed up for the vote.

Kelley Citrin, Team Leader Emiritus for PANDA New York, noted:

“I have never been more proud to be from the State of New York than I am today, because today reminded me that politics can still be noble, and government still responds when the cries of its people are loud enough, and persistent enough.”

Albany’s stand proves that citizen activism works. One city, however, is not enough.

Albany could be the start of a tidal wave. It’s time for every city in America to take the same step.  To accomplish this, PANDA has put together a “Take Back” packet to defeat indefinite detention in your city.

It’s time to really stop the NDAA across America. The “Take Back the Town Campaign” Beta launches today. It’s time to take back your town.

Don’t let this tidal wave stop with Albany. Download your packet here: http://pandaunite.org/takeback/

America is only a Republic…if we can keep it.
