Spontaneous Remission of Breast Cancer Found to Be Common

by Christina Sarich
Natural Society
November 22, 2013

The people handing out mammogram and radiation prescriptions to ‘cure’ breast cancer probably don’t want you to know this about breast cancer: in numerous cases, it goes away all by itself. Radiation, the primary means, if not invasive surgery, to eradicate breast cancer works by killing off cells by exposing the DNA to ionizing radioactive waves. The problem is that this treatment also kills off healthy cells, and has even been shown to cause breast cancer. In a study published at Dartmouth Medical School Magazine, the ‘taboo’ subject of spontaneous remission is openly discussed.

One of the doctors who helped write up the findings, H. Gilbert Welch, M.D., M.P.H, made sure they were published in Archives of Internal Medicine. The study compared 100,000 Norwegian women ages 50 through 64 who were divided into two groups, with women in both groups having invasive cancers. Women in the first group were followed from 1992 to 1997, while women in the second group were followed from 1996 to 2001.

The women in the first group had only one screening, and the women in the second group had one every two years. Women in group 2 were exposed to an average of six more breast screenings via mammography. Interestingly, the incidence of invasive breast cancer was 22% higher for women in the second group (the ones more often screened with mammograms)! What this means is that when we just let the body heal itself without radiation-causing screenings, often, the cancer goes into remission all on its own.

Not surprisingly, the study has been criticized by the American Cancer Society: “Their simplification of a complicated issue is both overreaching and alarming.” Unfortunately, the words from the American Cancer Society can’t be trusted, as the organization is in bed with major cancer-drug making companies. For example, Big Pharma giant AstraZeneca has made multimillion dollar contributions to ACS, influencing just about everything that the ACS does. The ‘awareness’ raised focuses almost exclusively on mammography and doesn’t mention a word about carcinogenic foods, aluminum in deodorants, etc. There is no spoken word of breast cancer prevention via natural, inexpensive means, while touting the ‘cure’ of mammography and cancer drugs.

Simply allowing cancer to go into remission can be risky and definitely scary, though mainstream solutions may not be the answer. If you don’t want to expose yourself to radiation or invasive surgeries, take some time to look into natural alternatives. Just as individuals have reversed prostate cancer with something as simple as baking soda, reversing and preventing breast cancer could be as easy as turmeric supplementation or flax seed consumption.

8 Signs that Fukushima Radiation is Blasting the Oceans and U.S.

by Elizabeth Renter
Natural Society
November 20, 2013

If you listen to Tepco and Japanese officials, you are bound to be confused about how bad Fukushima’s lasting effects really are. One moment they say everything is under control at the Fukushima nuclear plant, and the next they’re admitting radiation levels are 95% higher than originally stated. One would have to be awfully trusting or awfully ignorant to think the radioactive water spilling into the ground and eventually the sea wouldn’t spread throughout the world. The West Coast of Canada and the US is already seeing some effects.

Each day, 300 tons of radioactive water is spilling into the Pacific Ocean. The amount in the ocean and the global water supply is growing every single day, and ultimately impacting wildlife and our food supply. Whether you live on the West Coast or in the middle of the country, this should concern you as it will eventually affect us all.

Here are just a few signs that Fukushima radiation is here:

1. Tuna caught off the coast of California are contaminated with radiationOne test that studied 15 tuna found that all 15 had radiation contamination above and beyond what is normal for that area. Cesium-134 and cesium-137, which the fish were contaminated with, does not sink to the ocean floor, but rather contaminates the sea at all levels where fish swim through it, ingest it, or eat organisms that have already ingested it. Interestingly, the scientists who tested the fish didn’t expect to find contamination, and were sadly proven wrong.

2. Something is causing herring to bleed from their gills, bellies, and eyeballs, according to Canada.com. It’s believed these symptoms could be a sign of viral hemorrhagic septicemia that could be spread into salmon and other fish varieties. While not proven to be linked to Fukushima radiation, there is little doubt the radiation could be impacting immune function of the fish, leading to higher rates of disease.

3. Sockeye salmon populations at historic lows. Recreational and non-aboriginal fisheries in an area of British Columbia have been shut down due to record low numbers of sockeye salmon. Fukushima radiation may be to blame.

4. Radiation off West coast is expected to double in coming years. Projections from German oceanographers estimate radiation levels from Fukushima will cause continued increases in West coast contamination over the next 5 to 6 years.

5. Fish imported from Japan is already contaminated. The Vancouver Sun tested fish imports from Japan and found cesium-137 at alarming rates, contaminating 73% of mackerel, 91% of halibut, 92% of sardines, 93% of tuna, 94% of cod and anchovies, and 100% of the carp, seaweed, shark and monkfish.

6. Radioactive plume expected to reach U.S. coastal waters soon. A large plume of radiation is expected to begin flowing into the coastal waters in the beginning of 2014 and continue throughout 2016. If we’re only thus far seeing the tip of the iceberg, what’s to come could be truly frightening.

7. There is an epidemic of sea lion deaths along the California coastline.

At island rookeries off the Southern California coast, 45 percent of the pups born in June have died, said Sharon Melin, a wildlife biologist for the National Marine Fisheries Service based in Seattle. Normally, less than one-third of the pups would die.   It’s gotten so bad in the past two weeks that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration declared an “unusual mortality event.”

8. We could see very high levels of cancer along the West coast due to contaminated fish consumption.

“Look at what’s going on now: They’re dumping huge amounts of radioactivity into the ocean — no one expected that in 2011,” Daniel Hirsch, a nuclear policy lecturer at the University of California-Santa Cruz, told Global Security Newswire. “We could have large numbers of cancer from ingestion of fish.”

Here is a real-time map of radiation levels within the U.S.

All In The (Robotic) Family: Renting Robotic Replacements To Care For Your “Loved” Ones

Update to the ongoing mission to establish an emotional connection between humans and robots.

by Nicholas West
Activist Post
November 21, 2013

As the evolution of humanoid robots continues to quicken, it is forcing the question of whether or not we we will love our robotic overlords. Or, are they not “overlords” at all, but soon to be just part of the family?

Well-known transhumanists such as Ray Kurzweil have made their love affair with robots quite clear, despite some already negative economic impacts that robots are having on their human counterparts. One of the stated missions after all is to supposedly unburden humanity from all of the grunt work.

Beyond the economic and military concerns, the commitment to neuroscience and reverse engineering the human brain coupled with the exponential increase in computing power is forcing the discussion toward the social impact robotics will have.
Robots and AI have already gained some level of interaction with humans. Currently it is a push-pull between competition and cooperation.
Here are just a few current examples:

A recent study set out to discover just how far along we are in human-robot relations. German researchers from the International Communication Association made some revealing discoveries within a group of participants. In order to judge a strict emotional connection, two studies focused on empathy. Would people have empathy for something they knew not to be live being? And would they have the same level of empathy toward both humans and robots?

In the first study, 40 participants watched videos of a small dinosaur-shaped robot that was treated in an affectionate or a violent way and measured their level of physiological arousal and asked for their emotional state directly after the videos.

Participants reported feeling more negative watching the robot being abused and showed higher arousal during the negative video.

The second study used functional magnetic-resonance imaging (fMRI), to investigate potential brain correlations of human-robot interaction in contrast to human-human interaction.

The 14 participants were presented videos showing a human, a robot and an inanimate object, again being treated in either an affectionate or in a violent way.

Researchers found that individuals displayed similar neural activation patterns for affection, indicating that they elicit similar emotional reactions.

However, when comparing videos showing abusive behavior, participants showed more negative empathetic concern for humans. (Source)

This was a small group of participants, but it would seem that the edge for now is given slightly to humans.

However, it is interesting to note that the areas most often cited across the board as targeted for eliminating humans in favor of robotic “assistance” are the very vocations that would seem to require the most empathy:

  • Education
  • Emergency response
  • Helping the elderly and infirm
  • Patient rehabilitation

“One goal of current robotics research is to develop robotic companions that establish a long-term relationship with a human user, because robot companions can be useful and beneficial tools.

[…]

“A common problem is that a new technology is exciting at the beginning, but this effect wears off especially when it comes to tasks like boring and repetitive exercise in rehabilitation. The development and implementation of uniquely humanlike abilities in robots like theory of mind, emotion and empathy is considered to have the potential to solve this dilemma.”

One could question, then, if it is less a sign that robots are becoming more human, but that actually humans are becoming less so. Is the rise of the robots just a reflection of our own spiritual devolution?

Tech site Motherboard posted a cheeky title for their recent article that might promote some nervous laughter: “To Avoid Your Family, Rent a Robotic Replacement.”  A Japanese company has focused on developing a new robot that offers a telepresence for your chosen robotic helper. Instead of rushing home, for example, why not just Skype your new robotic family member and set some tasks for taking care of ailing mom or dad, perhaps the toddler needs to be fed, or the dog needs to be let out 8 pm. While not all of these possibilities are explicitly mentioned or possible for the current model seen in the video below, we have seen rapid development in the area of humanoid robots. As these robots increase in size, computing power, and a more life-like appearance, they are all but certain to be sold as valid additions to the family.

NEC said it will rental plans for its PaPeRo robot will run as low as less than ¥10,000 per month, which is currently around $100. For that price, the 10 inch, three pound robot will sit around your parent’s house, using its camera, speakers, and facial recognition system to help take your place at home and connect you to people via a conduit that’s more intuitive to interaction than simply leaving Skype running on a laptop on your coffee table.

The main goal appears to be bringing bringing telepresence to the consumer market, and allow people to better connect with each other via robot avatars. The program will first be limited to Japan when it starts early next year, but the company expects to expand worldwide. In its announcement of the partner program, NEC said it’s looking for business partners to develop applications for the bot using NEC’s API and Cloud Federated robot platform.

According to a Kyodo report, “the robot can also be applied to such purposes as managing family members’ schedules as well as detecting suspicious individuals when family members are away from home.”

As we look around at our largely selfish, consumer-driven, pharma drug-taking, and increasingly violent society, do we really need more encouragement to shirk our duties toward our fellow companions and family by effectively outsourcing our emotions and responsibilities to the non-living?

11/21/2013 – Major Security FLAW in Google+ can Shutdown your Youtube page instantly with no strikes, no appeal

Dutchsinse
November 21, 2013

video explanation here:

__________

My youtube channel , http://www.youtube.com/dutchsinse, was erroneously shut down yesterday, lost all videos, and all Google+ access.  I had no strikes, no violations, and was all green across the board.

How did my youtube get terminated?  Easily.

They simply flagged my GOOGLE+ account as an “impersonator”.  Yes, flagged my own dutchsinse MAIN GOOGLE+ page as an impersonator.  LOL.   They can do it anonymously, with no warning, and with no recourse by you to fix it, except, to SEND A PHOTO ID OF YOURSELF to G+ to prove you are who you say you are.

google plus security flaw

What? Send a photo ID to G+ to save your YOUTUBE page from shutdown, after your G+ was falsely flagged as an “impersonator”?!!!

Madness.  Seriously, big problem here, how do you PROVE you’re a screen name?

They’re asking for a photo ID to prove who I am.  However, the google+ is named “dutchsinse”.  My real name is Michael Janitch.

I sent them a copy of my passport 48 hours ago, filled out the form with my real name, never even received a confirmation reply that they received it.  and as of today 220am CT november 21, no reply at all.

I’m dutchsinse.  How can someone ELSE, an anonymous person, report me for “impersonation”?  Which then causes G+ to INSTANTLY shut down my whole G+ page…. which then leads to the INSTANT TERMINATION OF MY YOUTUBE PAGE, and a blocking of all my associated G+ pages.

A domino effect caused by one single false flagging, one single easy abuse of a security feature on youtube that, SHOULD, have human review behind it, and should not be automated.

Yesterday, thanks to this fake / false google+ shutdown , I lost 75,000 subscribers, and 800+ videos. Lost access to ALL of it.  Due to a single false flag on a separate service away from youtube!!!

Again, no email from youtube OR google+ was sent to me, warning me, or giving me a dispute option.

Very strange too, Google+ and youtube BOTH have my cellphone number already on file for login and verification purposes, no message sent to my mobile device at all.

Don’t forget, MOST IMPORTANTLY, there was no recourse to solve this.  No link to click on, no email to send, and no option to dispute. For me to get it fixed, it literally took someone who works there to privately contact the “policy team” and do a few things to get my youtube restored.

Still locked out on Google+, still cannot make any comment even below my own video, and still cannot share anything via the share button.  No reply from google, except to ask for an ID with my SCREENNAME on it?!

lol, can you say NIGHTMARE scenario here.

Meanwhile, no laughing matter, 3 years of work , 800+ videos, and 75,000+ subscribers on the line… all capable of being wiped out from a SEPARATE service like google+ ?  Somethings not right about this.

Imagine if someone could shut down your PERSONAL facebook page with the click of a button, and then YOU have to prove who YOU are because they clicked a button.

Guilty until proven innocent , meanwhile they DELETE your youtube page, delete all your content, and you have to fight to get it back?

Shouldn’t the person making the impersonation CLAIM have to provide THEIR ID???????

Anyone can get shut down this way.  Maybe a few larger channels will get slammed, then google might take notice.  Right now, they’re not responding to any of my contact attempts.
