Former LAPD officer and murder suspect Christopher Dorner has reportedly been involved in a gunfight with authorities near Big Bear, California, and is barricaded in a cabin in a wooded area around 80 miles from Los Angeles.

According to preliminary reports, police are on the hunt for Dorner through the woods of Big Bear. CNN claims that at least two officers have been shot, but the conditions and whereabouts of all persons involved have not been formally confirmed, nor has the cause of the alleged attack. KTLV claims one deputy has been airlifted to a hospital and area schools have been placed on lockdown as a precaution. A local CBS station says the LAPD has dispatched armored vehicles and a bunker buster SWAT team to aid with the manhunt, and flight restrictions have been imposed in the area. As the search intensifies, authorities have asked the media to discontinue their live aerial broadcast.
Dorner, a former cop and Navy reservist who has been at-large since last week, has been named a suspect in three murders in Southern California. Authorities have formally charged him with one of the crimes.
Dorner has been untraceable in the days since the crimes, and a manifesto attributed to him that was published online has helped garner international intrigue about the case. On Tuesday afternoon, however, reports developed that suggested Dorner has surfaced and was back on the run.
According to an NBC affiliate in Los Angeles, a man matching Mr. Dorner’s description entered a mountainside cabin in Big Bear and took a two people hostage. The LAPD says that the suspect tied up the couple and then fled the scene in one of the victim’s vehicles, which could be linked to a nearby reckless driving accident. The Los Angeles Times was the first outlet to rehash the case on Tuesday, reporting that afternoon that Mr. Dorner engaged in a firefight with authorities. A law enforcement source speaking to the paper confirmed the news on condition of anonymity, and CNN independently verified that claim shortly after 1 p.m. local time.

Home Remedies for Ringworm – 6 Natural Treatments

Ringworm, also known as tinea, is a health issue characterized by a red, itchy, unattractive ring that appears on the body. The issue is actually a contagious fungal infection (has nothing to do with worms) that can appear on the body, feet, groin, scalp, nails, or even beard. While ringworm treatments most often consist of creams and ointments found at your local pharmacy, there are indeed a number of natural home remedies for ringworm which people have been utilizing for countless years.
Some Home Remedies for Ringworm
- Apple Cider Vinegar – Adding on the the truly countless apple cider vinegar cures, this magical substance can also be used to treat ringworm. Simply apply ACV to the ringworm throughout the day, and ingest the liquid throughout the day in water (this will boost overall health and help to rid your body of the ringworm). Some people have also found combining ACV with 99.9% DMSO to be an effective solution. Try a 1:1 radio, such as a teaspoon of each.
- Garlic – Garlic is an amazingly beneficial, antifungal food that has been used for countless health ailments, including ringworm. Simply peel a clove, cut the garlic into thin slices, apply it to the ringworm, and cover the area with a band-aid overnight. - A Natural Product to Remove Fungal Organisms – In addition to the solutions that can be found within your local grocery store, there are also some natural (and less often organic) products out there. - Lavender Oil– Adding on to the home remedies for ringworm, lavender oil is another substance with potent anti-fungal effects. Research even shows how the oil not only stops the growth of fungi, but kills fungal infections such as ringworm, Athlete’s foot, and candida albicans.
In the end, you may turn to an anti-fungal cream or ointment to treat your ringworm problem, but before you do, why not give some of these natural ringworm treatments a try.
Other Ringworm Treatments
- Organic extra virgin coconut oil
- Ozonated olive oil paste
- Oregano oil
- Daily probiotics (to be taken along with whichever treatment you pursue)
- Fig leaves – Cut open a leaf and rub the milk or sap on the ringworm.
- Neem oil – Used in Ayurvedic medicine, neem is effective against fungal conditions
- Turmeric – Apply juice of raw turmeric to the ringworm throughout the day. Further, ingest a teaspoon of turmeric juice and honey mixed together daily.

Violent LAPD Shoots First at Anything Resembling Suspect’s Car [video included]

Almost proving the ex-cop Chris Dorner’s point in his manifesto of cops using excessive force, LAPD are the ones who appear to be on a rampage against anyone who’s driving a car even remotely similar to the suspect’s.
The video below tells of how cops have opened fire on yet another innocent vehicle “generally” fitting the description of Dorner’s car. Luckily the innocent driver was uninjured.
Previously, two women were hospitalized after being attacked by police for driving a blue Toyota Tacoma while they were delivering newspapers in a quiet neighborhood. Police were looking for a pickup truck of a different color, make, and model with a supposed connection to Dorner.
Upon seeing this truck drive down a residential neighborhood, police began unloading their weapons on sight. There are almost 40 bullet holes visible in this picture.
Dorner’s original complaint against the corrupt cops in the LAPD stems from their use of excessive force against civilians. And during their crazed man-hunt for Dorner, they seem to be proving his point. Whether or not Dorner is found guilty of these shootings, the LAPD and surrounding precincts are not doing their reputation any justice in their handling of this situation.
