FEMA, the FCC, and Homeland Security plan to commandeer the airwaves next month. The Emergency Alert System (EAS) will be tested at 1 PM EST on November 9. EAS alerts are transmitted over radio and television broadcast stations, cable television and other media services.
Local and state EAS components are tested weekly and monthly, but this will be the first national test of the system. It is significant that FEMA will conduct the mandatory test.
FEMA was created by executive fiat. EO 12148 was signed into law by a stroke of Jimmy Carter’s pen on July 20, 1979. FEMA is described as a federal agency designed to coordinate government response to natural disasters that overwhelm the resources of local and state authorities.
In fact, the federal agency was established as part of a martial law mechanism.

Research conducted by polling firm PSB reveals that almost one third of the Occupy Wall Street protesters support using violence to enforce their ideas, which is somewhat disconcerting given the fact that many of the demonstrators also support concentrating that force into the hands of government to oversee a program of radical wealth redistribution at gunpoint.

“On Oct. 10 and 11, Arielle Alter Confino, a senior researcher at my polling firm, interviewed nearly 200 protesters in New York’s Zuccotti Park. Our findings probably represent the first systematic random sample of Occupy Wall Street opinion,” writes pollster Douglas Schoen in the Wall Street Journal today.
The interviews with the demonstrators revealed that “nearly one-third (31%) would support violence to advance their agenda.”

Here’s a protestor at Halifax`s Occupy Nova Scotia. I am very glad that somebody mentioned the sexual molestation…
I am sorry about the video quality… I was trying to conserve as much battery power as possible but now I know that’s not worth it. Sorry about the cut in the middle too – the camera, for some reason, automatically turns off after 3 minutes when in “compact mode” (I didn’t know that). I don’t think too much was lost, though. The next video will be more professional.

FDA Trilateral Cooperation Charter – the end of health freedom as we know it

(NaturalNews) As horrific as the recent US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) guidelines are for health freedom (http://www.naturalnews.com/033482_F…), they are not necessarily the worst threat currently on the regulatory horizon. Far off the radar of most in the natural health community is the quietly-developing North American Trilateral Cooperation Charter (TCC), which threatens to merge the dietary supplement regulation guidelines of the US, Mexico, and Canada into a single, highly-restrictive regulatory paradigm.
The “Food & Nutrition” section of Health Canada’s “International Activities” website explains that TCC, which was officially signed by representatives from seven food, drug, health, and trade agencies of the three North American countries, is designed to “improve product safety” and “promote public health.” This is done by “facilitat[ing] the communication, collaboration, leveraging of resources, and the exchange of information on issues of mutual interest among the three countries” (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/intact…).
