Leading Bahraini human rights activist, Nabeel Rajab, has had his prison term cut from three to two years. Rajab has been imprisoned since August, on charges of organizing illegal gatherings and inciting violence.
The activist’s lawyer was demanding his release. The uprising in Bahrain has been ongoing for almost two years now, with the Shia majority demanding democratic reform from the Sunni ruling family.
RT talks to geopolitical analyst Patrick Henningsen.
“Anything that the regime is going to give way on will be a positive thing,” he told RT. However he noted that, “to have any genuine democratic reform in a country like Bahrain, that is housing the US fifth naval fleet and at the same time Washington and London and Tel-Aviv are talking aggressively, bating Iran into a military conflict, perhaps, that makes it a huge problem to see any reform happening now in Bahrain,” Henningsen said.

We met in London in the end of April 2012. The RF-scans were more or less a success on the first day. On the second day, because of the weather circumstances scans couldn’t be made properly but we still got two positive scans.
Lars Drudgaard, one of the founders of ICAACT, the international TI-organization, will publish soon enough the results of the other scans that are filmed with his own camera.
Next scan session will probably take place in Munchen, Germany, in a few month. We also hope to find an Faraday Cage, in order to keep out other frequencies. The risk of going below the threshold is smaller and we can intercept only the frequencies coming out of the body.

Yesterday’s EF-1 tornado in Edgewater was the first EF-1 or higher rated tornado in that area since Aug 2008.

The Volusia County Property Appraiser’s office said Tuesday that the tornado caused more than $1.5 million in damages to 90 homes, destroying five. The National Weather Service estimates winds reached up to 110 mph.

In July of this year we had a near-record LOW tornado count. A tornado DROUGHT.

Average in July 110 tornadoes. This year we had 24. I’ve been saying that I suspect that backlash from that to come during the winter time with freakish weather and such because things are apparently way off balance from the norm.
