Report: Obama Prepares Airstrikes On Syria [video included]

President Barack Obama has told the US Navy and Air Force to prepare air strikes on Syria as part of a “no fly zone” that will be enforced with the aid of British and French military power, according to a report.
“Their mission will be to knock out Assad’s central regime and military command centers so as to shake regime stability and restrict Syrian army and air force activity for subduing rebel action and wreaking violence on civilian populations,” reports Israeli intelligence outfit DebkaFile.
Having threatened military action for months, the United States was apparently encouraged by the fact that Russia is once again backing down from its harsh rhetoric and indicating that it will not oppose the toppling of President Bashar Al-Assad.
After having intimated that Russia would support Syria via indirect military means if NATO powers launched an attack, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Saturday that Russia “will be only glad to support such an outcome” (the ousting of Assad), suggesting Moscow has softened on the idea of regime change in Syria.
The likelihood of military intervention has been brought forward by reports that opposition rebels are planning to use chemical weapons and then blame the atrocity on Assad’s regime.
Rebels attempted to stage a similar ‘false flag’ recently when British Channel 4 reporter Alex Thomson was purposefully led by rebels into a trap whereby it was hoped he would be killed by government troops and his death used as a propaganda stunt.
Hostility towards Syria from the international community has intensified in recent weeks, particularly after the recent massacre in Houla which was blamed on Assad’s forces despite the fact that eyewitnesses in Houla said opposition rebels were responsible for the slaughter, which killed 108 people – mostly women and children.
As Daniel McAdams highlights, the Houla massacre has been exalted as the primary justification for military intervention and yet the media-generated narrative behind the atrocity has completely collapsed.
“A respected mainstream publication, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), has reported that the infamous Houla massacre in Syria, which the US and NATO hoped would be the casus belli for their planned invasion, was in fact carried out by rebel forces,” writes McAdams.
As we reported last weekend, the presence of Syrian National Transitional Council head Bassma Kodmani at the recent Bilderberg confab of global power brokers in Chantilly Virginia strongly suggested that a military assault on Syria was nearing.
US air strikes on Syria will be launched without Congressional approval, just as Obama green lighted the attack on Libya with a churlish disregard for the constitutional process. US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has repeatedly stated that Congressional authorization for a military assault on Syria will not be sought by the Obama administration, which considers NATO and the UN to be the supreme authority.
Given what happened last year in Libya, where Al-Qaeda flags now fly high over courthouses and other centers of power while minorities are brutally oppressed – allied to what is set to unfold in Syria – our warning back in 2008 before Obama even took office has become even more prescient.
“Obama may eventually withdraw a portion of troops from Iraq, but mark our words, they won’t be home long before they are sent off to bomb another broken-backed third world country, this time in the name of a United Nations-backed “humanitarian” war, just as Bill Clinton presided over in Somalia and Serbia with the full support of the establishment political left.” we wrote on November 4 2008 in an article entitled, The More Things “Change” The More They Stay The Same.
The same “humanitarian” bloodbath inflicted on Libya, which went from the most prosperous country in Africa to a sectarian nightmare ruled by brigades of armed thugs, now awaits Syria unless the likes of China and Russia back up their rhetoric with any real action, a scenario that is becoming increasingly unlikely with each passing day.

Two MKO Battalions Fuelling Unrest in Syria

The terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) has reportedly assigned some 400 of its members with stirring up unrest in Syria amid the recent surge of violence and atrocities in the crisis-hit Arab state.
Director of the Habilian Association Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad told Fars News Agency on Sunday that MKO terrorists, grouped in two battalions, have been tasked with fomenting chaos and violence in Syria.
The Habilian Association is an Iranian human rights NGO comprising of a group of families that have lost their loved ones in terrorist acts during the early years following Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Hasheminejad had on May 28 said that the MKO is preparing to launch a massive terrorist operation in Syria.
“We have conclusive proof and documents showing that the MKO has a strong and significant presence in Syria. The terrorist group has begun carrying out acts of sabotage and terrorism against the Syrian government and nation, and has found major influence among Syrian rebels,” the director of the Habilian Association said in a meeting with Syrian Ambassador to Tehran Hamed Hassan.
Hasheminejad also said Washington is playing a key part in destabilizating Syria, adding that the US and certain Western countries sponsor violence in the Middle Eastern state.
He further pointed out that the MKO acts as a mediator to funnel arms and money to Syrian armed gangs, stressing that the anti-Iran terrorist organization has also voiced support for the Free Syrian Army, an armed terrorist group operating in Syria.
The MKO has been producing many video clips against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and distributing them among ordinary Syrians and the opposition, he went on to say.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March 2011. Many people, including security forces, have been killed in the turmoil.
While the West and the Syrian opposition accuse the government of the killings, Damascus blames ”outlaws, saboteurs and armed terrorist groups” for the unrest, insisting that it is being orchestrated from abroad.

WARNING: Possible NATO-FSA False Flag Attack in Syria

June 10, 2012 – RT has warned of a possible plot being fomented by Syrian rebels inside NATO member Turkey. The plot involves Syrian rebels deploying chemical weapons obtained in Libya against Syrian civilians, then blaming the Syrian government for the mass casualty event. This of course would provide the West the “casus belli” it has been searching for to circumvent the UN Security Council and implement its long-planned campaign of regime change.
The Means
Libya’s arsenal had fallen into the hands of sectarian extremists with NATO assistance last year in the culmination of efforts to overthrow the government there. Since then, Libya’s militants led by commanders of Al Qaeda’s Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) have armed sectarian extremists across the Arab World, from as far West as Mali, to as far East as Syria.

The West is the undisputed champion of deploying each of these weapons of mass destruction against their enemies – from nuclear bombs upon Japan, to depleted uranium and white phosphorus upon Iraq, to Agent Orange all across Vietnam – it stands to reason that these weapons would eventually end up in the hands of the their proxies as well.
Libyan LIFG commander Abdul Hakim Belhaj, according to the London Telegraph, had in fact traveled to the Turkish-Syrian border to consort with the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), pledging weapons, cash, and even fighters. Since then, at least one ship flush with Libyan weaponry bound for Syrian militants has been interdicted by Lebanon, while the Western press, including the Sydney Morning Herald, has reported on a massive influx of foreign fighters and arms. In addition to Libyan weapons, the Washington Post has also confirmed the US and Gulf States have been arranging the delivery of weapons to Syrian militants.
Additionally, as a result of NATO’s intervention in Libya, the scattered military’s extensive arsenal of anti-aircraft missiles has also fallen into the hands of Libyan militants, to then be proliferated throughout LIFG’s network of affiliates – all of which are sectarian extremists, many with direct ties to Al Qaeda. The Washington Post in their article, “Libyan missiles on the loose,” reported:
“Two former CIA counterterrorism officers told me last week that technicians recently refurbished 800 of these man-portable air-defense systems (known as MANPADS) — some for an African jihadist group called Boko Haram that is often seen as an ally of al-Qaeda — for possible use against commercial jets flying into Niger, Chad and perhaps Nigeria.”
Clearly, NATO’s proxies in Libya have become a regional arsenal for similar sectarian extremists – all demonstratively working in concert with Western designs to overthrow both nationalist governments in North Africa, and installing client regions throughout the Middle East to then array against Iran and by extension, Russia’s sphere of influence throughout the region. If Libya possessed deployable chemical weapons, it seems very likely that they would find their way to LIFG’s affiliates and their foreign legionaries along with the rest of their exported terror.
The Motivation and Intent
There is certainly room for plausible concern regarding all types of Libyan weapons falling into the hands of the Free Syrian Army. They have been publicly pledged by LIFG commander Belhaj, and they have been interdicted en-route by neighboring Lebanon. Does evidence also suggest that indiscriminate mass-casualty attacks could be carried out by the FSA and then blamed on the Syrian government, should they be “gifted” with Libya’s chemical weapons?
In Reuters’ April 2012 article, “Outgunned Syria rebels make shift to bombs,” it is admitted that Syrian rebels have openly begun carrying out a terrorist bombing campaign, including operating large bomb-making facilities, not unlike the one in Hama which exploded during a mishap, killing over 70 people, and leveling a city block. Very tellingly, the opposition, fully responsible for the catastrophic loss of life, immediately blamed it on the Syrian government, claiming the wide scale destruction was caused by a Scud missile attack.
The FSA bombing campaign itself has also killed and maimed hundreds of Syrians, mostly civilians – and astonishingly despite openly admitting to producing and deploying bombs, rebels have then denied responsibility for the subsequent explosions and inevitable civilian death tolls, blaming it instead on the Syrian government.
RT’s report also made the point of reminding readers of a recent attempt by rebels to have a UK Channel 4 news team killed by government troops for propaganda purposes, while German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) has come forward with evidence (Google English translation here) implicating rebels as having staged the now infamous “Houla Massacre,” themselves – again for propaganda purposes.
For an opposition so transparently dishonest, and already caught attempting to frame the government for mass-casualty events and atrocities of their own doing, we see what is very clearly a militant movement capable of also deploying weapons of mass destruction more than within their means of obtaining, with the insidious motivations to use them against civilian populations as they have their indiscriminate bombings, and the audacity to then blame it on the Syrian government.
The Warning
While RT’s report remains unconfirmed, it is at the very least very plausible. By airing the story, RT may be preempting malicious interests contemplating such a ploy – realizing that the public is now fully inoculated to this propaganda and that it would only backfire on both the already faltering FSA, and their increasingly discredited Western sponsors.

The escalation comes after NATO and allies equip the insurgents with the latest arms, including chemical weapons. US sings to Syria: ‘We will, we will bomb you!’

When they want something, the US and its allies will insist until they get it. That’s what they’re doing to Syria right now, where they NEED to give it a Libya-like treatment in order to further their Imperial Overdrive goals in the Middle East.
Just as rock star Freddy Mercury & Queen used to sing “we will, we will rock you!!”, today’s US/UK/EU/Israeli war cry mantra goes something like this: “We will, we will BOMB you!!”. And if they can’t do the bombing “officially” themselves or through NATO as they’ve done in Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Serbia or Pakistan, then they’ll do the bombing through suitable proxies, especially their present favorite errand-boy Al-Qaeda.
We may be seeing examples of this in the horrendous attacks taking place inside Syria which the Western powers and media systematically blame solely on the Bashar al-Assad government, which from the very beginning of the “Arab Spring” warned his country and the world against Western covert operations and a powerful media PsyWar.
Common sense tell us that it would be monstrous and idiotic for al-Assad to purposely carry out such attacks that only play into the hands of the Western powers giving them further excuse for armed intervention. The Houla massacre came just as UN Special Envoy to Syria Kofi Annan was beginning his mission inside Syria; now the el-Quebeir killing comes just as Annan is about to submit his report to the UN Security Council. It makes no sense, so one must ask: who benefits from all this?
Clearly, the Annan Mission is being sabotaged and – oh, coincidence – his proposed plan is the only one that counts with Russian and Chinese support after these two countries blocked US, British and French attempts at imposing a Libya-like Resolution 1973 against Syria at the end of 2011 and early 2012, which would have predictably led to Libya-like results in Syria.
Annan proposes a six-point plan that includes cessation of hostilities and Syrian-led dialogue amongst ALL warring parties, unrestrained access of humanitarian aid, freedom for journalists to report what’s really happening and UN monitoring. Naturally, that does not please Hilary, Obama, Cameron, Hague, John MacCain, Joe Liberman and their controllers at AIPAC – American Israeli Public Affairs Committee – for it thwarts Western invasion plans against Syria.
So the Annan Plan MUST be sabotaged. And what better way to do that then to carry out covert dirty tricks false flag-like horrendous killings as we’ve seen in Houla, Hama, and now el-Quebeir, putting all the blame, naturally, on “the Assad regime’s repressive troops” giving it the goriest of Western media coverage?
But who are fighting inside Syria? We hear about a “Free Syrian Army”, “Local Coordination Committees”, a “Syrian National Council” and – most notably – good old Al-Qaeda. All wonderfully armed, trained, financed and supported by the Western Powers and Media and by groups like the UK-based “Syrian Observatory on Human Rights”, all suitably“appalled” and “outraged” over the killings and massacres.
What options does a country’s legitimate government such as Syria’s have when confronted with civil war? Basically, two: they either fight the imported armed insurrection or they surrender and give up their country to the US, UK, NATO military, together with their darlings at ExxonMobil, Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, and Halliburton… They call it“democracy”, and we’ve seen where that leads to in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.
So now the Western Powers are having a temper tantrum and want to see “regime change” in Syria one way or another. If Russia and China blocked NATO bombings, well then let’s just bring in the Al-Qaeda “SWAT” Team and other “freedom fighting” thugs so they can do the bombing for us.
Isn’t it strange that over the past two years Hilary Clinton has publicly admitted on FoxNews and CNN that it was the US who “created, trained and armed Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan to fight the Soviet invasion of the 80’s”, and that “once the Soviets left, we just washed our hands and left the Taliban, Muhadejeen and Al-Qaeda with all those Stinger missiles and arms” running around Afghanistan?
Wasn’t it Tony Blair’s Foreign Secretary Robin Cook who told The Guardian newspaper in June 2005 that “Al Qaeda was created by the US and the name means ‘the file’” – the CIA file containing lists of all those cute Al-Qaeda operatives? Too bad for big-mouth Robin as he promptly “died of a heart attack” just two months later in rather dubious circumstances…
Wasn’t it Jimmy Carter’s national security advisor Zbigniew Brzezinksi – co-founder and ideologue of the Rockefeller/Rothschild Trilateral Commission – who told the French “Nouvelle Observateur” magazine in 1998 that he masterminded the CIA’s “Operation Cyclone” which in early July 1979 whipped-up Taliban fighters against the pro-soviet regime in Kabul, thus triggering the soviet invasion of Afghanistan; boasting with president Carter that the soviets now had their Vietnam War?. All trained, financed, armed and supported by the US, Saudi Arabia, UK, Pakistan and Israel?
So, is it any surprise that over the past year and a half of “Arab Spring”, we hear many times that Al-Qaeda is involved in the worst fighting, even raising their flag over a police facility in “liberated Libya”? Now we learn Al-Qaeda is working hard to “liberate” Syria…
How much of the horrific killing is attributable to them and their insurrection partners which, in the final instance all goes back to their original controllers at the CIA, MI6 and Mossad?
Is it a mere coincidence that during the secretive Bilderberg meeting earlier this month in Chantilly, Virginia (USA) that brought together key global power brokers and decision-makers of this world, they also invited Bassma Kodmani, member of the Executive Bureau and Head of Foreign Affairs at the Syrian National Council to attend?
Surely Mr Kodmani must have met and chatted with other Bilderberg attendees like Henry Kissinger, the “black prince”Richard Perle of Destroy-Iraq-fame, and key think-tank bosses like the Council of Foreign Relations’ Robert Rubin, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Hudson and Hoover institutes, the neo-con American Enterprise Institute and – oh, yes! – Thomas Donilon, Obama’s powerful national security advisor…
The message is clear, gentlemen: this is Total War. So, Syria, if we cannot bomb you to smithereens and impose regime change with UN and NATO backing as we did in Serbia, Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya, then we’ll use our proxies at the Syrian National Council and call in our Al-Qaeda Global SWAT team killers.
Either way, Hilary, Obama, Hague and Cameron will rock‘n’roll to the tune of “We will, we will BOMB you!!!
Who’s directing the orchestra you ask? I think I see Bibi Netanyahu and the AIPAC and ADL boys playing the strings there, behind the curtain…
