British Paper Claims Western Troops are in Syria

Land Destroyer

With zero mandate, SAS allegedly “hunts for WMDs” as West attempts incremental intervention at any cost.

by Tony Cartalucci

August 26, 2012 – The British Daily Star has reported in their article, “SAS HUNT BIO ARMS,” that, “nearly 200 elite SAS and SBS troops are in or around Syria hunting for Assad’s weapons of mass destruction.” The Star also claims that the SAS are accompanied by British MI6, US CIA, and both French and American soldiers. This after US’ Barack Obama made comments claiming the US would military intervene if Syria so much as “moves them [unconfirmed WMDs] in a threatening fashion.”Like Iraq, the West has provided no evidence that such weapons even exist, let alone prove that the weapons have or even would be used against terrorists operating across Syria. And like in Iraq, another false pretext is being developed through leaks, and limited hangouts in an attempt to prime the public for a desperate intervention designed to bolster the West’s collapsing terrorist front.

The West also categorically lacks any semblance of an international mandate to act militarily within Syria – meaning that if SAS soldiers are in Syria, they are in egregious violation of international law.

Image: The symbols for nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons. The West is the undisputed champion of deploying each of these weapons of mass destruction against their enemies – from nuclear bombs upon Japan, to depleted uranium and white phosphorus upon Iraq, to Agent Orange all across Vietnam – it stands to reason that these weapons would eventually end up in the hands of the their proxies as well.

….

Should chemical weapons “move” or be “used” in Syria, it will be in the form of a false flag attack, with weapons brought in by Libyan terrorists now confirmed to be leading the so-called “Free Syrian Army” with US, UK, European, and Gulf State weapons, cash, and logistical support.

US, British, French, and Gulf State-backed Al Qaeda militants have been attempting to infiltrate and violently overthrow the government of Syria, as well as terrorize the population into submission in a brutal, year and half long terror campaign. In July and August, NATO-backed terrorists attempted to seize Syria’s two largest cities, Aleppo and Damascus only to be dealt severe losses and a rebound of Syrian forces enjoying increasing public support for ending the violence.

The Syrian conflict was engineered by Western interests as early as 2007.

‘Egyptian leader heads to China, Iran to find non-Western cash flow’

Russia Today
August 28, 2012

Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi is set to kick off his first visit to China, shortly followed by a historic trip to Tehran. Middle East history professor Lawrence Davidson believes Cairo wants to diversify its economic relations.

The Egyptian President, who took office in June, will hold talks with his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao on Tuesday. His visit is expected to largely focus on economic cooperation, which is why Morsi is accompanied by a number of Egyptian businessmen.

On Thursday, the Egyptian president will visit Iran to attend the Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, which Tehran is hosting. The trip, which is expected to last for only a few hours, will nevertheless be a historic occasion, as diplomatic relations between the two countries largely deteriorated following the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran.  This will be the first visit by an Egyptian head of state since that date.

RT: President Morsi and his Chinese counterpart are expected to hold talks on boosting bilateral relations and attracting more investment. How will this impact Cairo’s geopolitical interests with the country still dependent on Washington’s aid?

Lawrence Davidson: I think what the Egyptians are trying to do is diversify their source of assistance, particularly economic assistance and so if they can find financial and other sources of resources outside the United States or the World Bank, then they’re going to do it. So that causes a sort of leaning not only towards China, but also maybe Russia and Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. So Morsi is catering to that area because of financial need. And we saw that just recently with Egypt’s refusal to let a Bahraini activist into the country. So I think that Egyptian policies and actions are going to essentially align to their economic needs.

RT: President Morsi then heads to Iran, which is seen as an unprecedented move, given the tensions over Tehran’s controversial nuclear program. Is it possible that his visit will bolster Iran’s standing?

LD: I think so, particularly in the Arab world. If the Egyptians and Iranians are seen to put forth common interests, common goals and boost trade or something like that, I think that that’s going to bode very well for the Iranians. Ironically, the Saudis are probably not going to like that. But I have a feeling that Morsi will then go and say nice things to the Saudis to keep the money flowing from the Gulf.

RT: The Muslim Brotherhood, Morsi’s former party, has called this upcoming visit to Tehran a demonstration of Egypt’s newly elected leader’s independence from the US. What kind of message does this trip convey to Washington?

LD: I don’t think it’s going to upset the Americans that much. Actually, I think the American government really doesn’t want to jack up the tension in Iran and that region. They really want to calm things. And so they’re not going to get upset about these sorts of maneuvers. The real tensions that are pushing the Americans towards conflict with Iran are centered domestically. And so, to the extent that Obama feels that he’s got a real good shot at re-election, I think we are going to see a more independent kind of behavior on the part of the US government vis-à-vis Iran.

She’s not a politician or a diplomat, but she is genuine.

Matt and Luke Rudkowski of WeAreChange try yet again, on two separate occasion’s, to question former U.S Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson about the banker bailouts. Watch what happens as the secret service and private security guards go out of their way to make sure no question is uttered to Mr. Paulson. Of course, this never stops WeAreChange and leads to interesting encounters on both occasions.

Southern CA Rocked with over 160 quakes in 21 hours

by James Smith, Contributor
Activist Post
August 27, 2012

Over eight score quakes have hit the small community area of Brawley, CA in the past 21 hours. At last count, 162 quakes have struck the county along the Mexican Border. The area affected lies on the Imperial Fault Zone. This fault is directly south of San Andreas fault.

Six of these quakes measured over 4.0, the strongest being magnitude 5.5. Many quakes are occurring one to 5 minutes apart.

The quakes are reminiscent of the El Hierro quakes that began in July of 2011, and after thousands of quakes a new volcano formed off the south tip of La Restinga. This area is remote and away from heavily populated areas.

It should be noted that the USGS failed to report any of the El Hierro quakes.

We will keep you updated as time allows. Quake map and full report below.

Veterans Being Rounded Up Nationwide, People Everywhere Just Disappearing [video included]

Marine Veteran Brandon Raub’s Attorney says he is getting calls from veterans and people all over the country reporting psychiatric detention for political speech.

Last Thursday, decorated former US Marine Brandon Raub, who served two tour of duties in Iraq and Afghanistan, was detained by the FBI and local authorities for posting controversial anti-government political comments on the social media website Facebook.

Although 26 year-old Brandon Raub was forcefully detained against his will for his political views, he was not charged with any criminal misconduct – a hallmark of the NAZI gestapo which used the tactic of indefinite psychiatric detention to crush political dissent.

Constitutional attorney John Whitehead, representing Raub, appeared on media outlet RT to discussed how the US government violated his client’s first amendment rights.

He also made an appearance on GBTV with Glenn Beck in which he made several even more shocking revelations.

Whitehead told Beck that he is getting calls from military veterans all over the country who have also been bjected to the same Nazi style psychiatric detention for their political views.

Perhaps more alarming was when Beck asked if people of left-wing ideology – specifically members of Occupy Wall Street – are alo being detained. Whitehead responded, saying he can’t say for sure because people all over the country are just disappearing.

He also reveals that while Raub was in psychiatric detention one of the psychiatrists that he was seeing threatened to “brainwash” him and force him to take medication.

Attorney of Former Marine Detained for Facebook Posts Tells Beck: Psychiatrist Threatened to ‘Brainwash’ My Client With Meds

[…]Whitehead told Beck that he and his organization are planning to sue over a provision in Virginia state law that allows authorities to place a person in emergency custody and hold them for four hours unless a magistrate enters a temporary detention order (TDO). Raub was held under this law, specifically Va. Code § 37.2-808, for days.

“We are getting ready to file a civil lawsuit…because [Raub] has been put through hell for a week,” said Whitehead. But, he explained, “Under the civil commitment law in Virginia, the police can do this.”

[…]Whitehead said that veterans have since been contacting him from across the country claiming they too were victims of wrongful detention in psychiatric institutes like Raub. Apparently, there are civil commitment laws in other states as well, he said.

“It happens. There’s about 20,000 civil commitments alone in Virginia each year,” he added.

It was actually Raub’s mother, who took to Facebook in a rage after he son was taken by federal and local law enforcement officers, that sounded the alarm and made the entire country aware of his situation.

“Did they have a warrant for his arrest?” Beck asked.

“No warrant for his arrest and no search warrant,” Whitehead replied. “They haven’t [charged him with a crime] and they’re not going to.”
