“Do Not Donate to the Red Cross”: Red Cross CEO Made $500,000 a Year in 2008 as Credibility of Aid Organization Once Again Under Fire [video included]

The credibility of the Red Cross has come under fire once again after Staten Island Borough President James Molinaro slammed the organization during a now viral press conference.
Molinaro brought up some significant points including the fact that the people in charge of the Red Cross actually make hundreds of thousands of dollars per year while never stepping foot on the front lines of a disaster.
“All these people making these big salaries should be out there on the front line, and I am disappointed.
And my advice to the people of Staten Island is: Do not donate to the American Red Cross. Let them get their money elsewhere.”
Although the borough president later claimed that the Red Cross had come through with the needed supplies, his initial comments were important as they have now reminded the populace of past corruption and shady practices that many believe have been carried out by the aid organization.
In the days after 9/11, as the true horror of the attacks unfolded, millions of Americans sat glued to their TV. The Red Cross immediately capitalized on this and went to work calling for donations to help the victims of the largest terror attack of our lifetime.
The outpouring of financial support for the victims was tremendous. Sadly, most of the money meant to go to victims of the horrific attacks actually went to the organization itself. (This according to their own President)
Family members of the victims actually had to publicly fight the Red Cross to access even portions of the funds.
“The Liberty Fund is a war fund. It has evolved into a war fund,” stated then President Dr. Bernadine Healy.
A 2009 investigation by CBS News uncovered a small tidbit of the possible corruption and fraud carried out by the Red Cross in regards to the 9/11 victims funds.
In the hours after the Sept. 11 attacks, a record-breaking amount of donations started pouring into more than 1,000 local American Red Cross chapters.
What donors didn’t know was that some of the chapters entrusted with all that money had been identified by Red Cross headquarters just a few weeks before for having poor accounting procedures, inaccurate financial reports and for keeping national disaster contributions that should have been sent to headquarters in Washington.
That according to internal documents obtained by CBS news.
The Red Cross isn’t known for keeping a tight rein on its chapters. But now, it was suddenly crucial for headquarters to find out what chapters were doing with the millions in Sept. 11 donations.
So the Red Cross leadership rushed special investigative auditors out to conduct surprise inspections. The results were startling.
According to documents obtained by CBS News, a dozen of the Red Cross chapters audited were marking, or “coding”, donations as local funds.
This means chapters like San Diego, Southwest Florida, and Gateway Area, Iowa would keep the money instead of sending it in for Sept. 11 victims.
An article published in 2005 by Paul Joseph Watson gave a stern warning to those who were considering donating to the Red Cross in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
“The Red Cross, under the Liberty Fund, collected $564 million in donations after 9/11. Months after the event, the Red Cross had distributed only $154 million. The Red Cross’ explanation for keeping the majority of the money was that it would be used to help ‘fight the war on terror’.
To the victims, this meant that the money was going towards bombing broken-backed third world countries like Afghanistan and setting up surveillance cameras and expanding the police state in US cities, and not towards helping them rebuild their lives.”
Issues with where money donated to the Red Cross actually goes began long before 9/11. Allegations of keeping donated money go, at least, as far back as the 1989 San Francisco earthquake. Victims reportedly only received $10 million of the $50 million dollars donated.
As if issues of giving donated money to the right people were not enough, executives of the aid organization have historically received ridiculous sums of money to run what many believe is a simple charity group.
In 2008, the Washington Post revealed the fact that new CEO Gail McGovern was set to make $500,000 dollars a year with a $65,000 signing bonus.
That’s right, the big wigs of this organization are millionaires who, without ever stepping foot in any disaster area, are making huge sums of money.
The facts and allegations outlined above paint a picture of a massive military industrial complex sponsored organization that should, at the very least, be investigated before it is continually given full-scale promotion on every major TV show in the United States as the number one place to donate money to help victims of disasters.

Iran Offers to Send Emergency Aid Crew to New York After Hurricane Sandy

In the wake of the destruction caused by hurricane Sandy the people of Iran are reaching out in a variety of ways, by offering help and emergency aid relief. Even the Red Crescent Organization of Iran has offered to send an emergency response team to help with the rescue and clean up effort.
Mahmud Mozaffar, the leader of the Red Crescent Organization told the Fars News Agency that:
“We are ready to help the flood-stricken people of America. Given its preparedness and ample experience in rescuing storms and floods victims, Iran’s Red Crescent can provide relief assistance for those affected in New York. If American authorities agree, we can send our rescuers with equipment and tools to American cities in the shortest period of time.”
It is very possible that American authorities will not accept this offer because the Red Crescent Organization is known to have deep connections with the Iranian government. Another organization close with the Iranian government made a similar request a few years ago in offering to help clean up the Deep Horizon BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, this offer was quickly turned down by the US government.
Iran is a much more complicated situation than the half dozen other countries that have already been invaded in this conquest, it’s far more delicate. Iran’s population and military capabilities far surpass that of Iraq and Afghanistan, it is one of the most powerful countries in the Middle East and has been for a very long time.
Despite their immense power and influence in the region they have not waged a foreign conflict in over a century, and they don’t pose much of a threat today either. However, they are still being demonized because they don’t comply with Anglo-American business interests like the extremely brutal and fascist dictatorship in Saudi Arabia does.
That is not to say that the government of Iran is totally harmless, all governments are inherently criminal and corrupt because they operate on a basis of force, fraud and coercion. However, it does mean that at least historically the aggression of the Iranian government has been focused inside its own borders.
All of that aside, this is still a commendable offer of peace on the part of this government connected group in Iran, and believe it or not, this is an offer which reflects the sentiments of the average Iranian person. For well over a year now peace activists in Iran have been teaming up with other peace activists in Israel and the United States to spread a message of love and unity among people of all geographical locations…..regardless of what all the crazy politicians say.
One of the most popular of these efforts is the Iran loves Israel and Israel loves Iran campaign, which started out as a viral Facebook phenomena where Iranians and Israelis would send messages of love to one another and reassure each other that the hateful rhetoric put forward by governments and media outlets are totally out of line with the true feelings of the average person.
Wars belong to the politicians, the weapons manufactures and the bankers, it is their hate and their propaganda that drives the violence in these conflicts. The people at home just want to live long happy and peaceful lives.
The following is the front page quote on the Iran Loves Israel web page:
“Nothing about war is healing. It doesn’t plant seeds of change – only of discord and pain. The people of Iran, like our counterparts in Israel, are vibrant, creative, and forward-thinking. We need a transparent arena where ideas can be exchanged, thoughts developed, and discourse inspired by our similarly ancient cultures. Although many countries in the Middle East suffer from debilitating international stereotypes, we can unite to transform the media’s image of us as violent and intolerant aggressors to loving and cooperative partners. As we go through the crucible of our inherited animosities, we can burn away our superficial differences and together emerge with a greater understanding of humanity.”
The Israel Loves Iran web site has an equally positive quote on their front page:
“Once you see your enemy as a human being similar to yourself, being expressing his love and understand he doesn’t hate you as years of propaganda succeed to make you believe, you can never go back to blind hate, then you can start to know each other and you will be ready for peace.”
Last month we reported on the insanity of trade sanctions, and how they are literally killing millions of people, simply because they are under the oppression of a government that is not in favor with the west. The activism that is truly needed to stop this sort of madness is going to be situations where the average people of waring nations extend love and support to one another.
This will totally undermine the propaganda of war, by helping others to understand that individuals should not be punished for the actions of the governments that oppress them.

Ineptitude in FEMA food purchasing continues

The Federal emergency Management Agency (FEMA) continues to submit requests for even more food for the Brooklyn, New York and Lakehurst, New Jersey areas. However, the New Jersey meals must have poor self-esteem, as FEMA is requiring the commercial meals (MRE) to be “self hating”.
The request went out at 4:30 pm today, with a response time no later than three hours later. Yesterday, PPRN reported that two million meals were needed to be delivered by tomorrow for distribution in the same locations.
The Agency is looking for 333,000 to be delivered to each location over a two day period 7-8 Nov 2012, and a delivery of 334,000 on 9 Nov 2012.
Recently stories have FEMA ordering more water as they have run out. However, FEMA has also had to order:
300 – 9/12 kw120 volt single phase generators
- vendor should report if they can provide one 5 gallon fuel can with each generator.
- To be delivered by noon tomorrow to New Jersey.
83,625 cases of baby formula for distribution to food banks.
200, 000 gallons of fuel for multiple locations in New Jersey and New York – Fuel type not disclosed.
The Department of Homeland Security – the masters of FEMA, have spent hundreds of millions of dollars on ammunition for training, and it appears to have been caught with their shorts around the ankles when it comes to disaster preparedness.
Just think, we could get health care being managed by the same administration that can’t even provide food and support to its citizens.
That should just give you a warm fuzzy feeling all over.

NEW YORK CITY — Residents throughout the city and surrounding areas have been hit hard by the violent winds, rains, and flooding that the “super storm” Sandy threw at them earlier in the week.
Now facing the aftermath, residents and businesses await the next phase of recovery as they piece back together their lives to some sense of normality. But when will it come?
In the middle of New York harbor lies weather struck Staten Island, mostly flooded and submerged from the storm.
It has now been reported by ABC and others that Staten Island is under distress as residents fight for there lives in what has been described as not only a “disaster zone” but a “war zone”.
Thousands of people are displaced as some seek refuge in shelters throughout the region.
Meanwhile, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg was reported to have diverted needed generators, supplies, and resources away from Staten Island for use in the coming New York City Marathon.
Fox News reported;
Mayor Michael Bloomberg defended his decision to hold the 26-2 mile race as scheduled on Sunday, although many New Yorkers complained it would be insensitive and divert city resources at a time when many are suffering.
“You have to keep going and doing things. … You can grieve and you can cry and you can laugh and that’s what human beings are good at,” Bloomberg said at a news conference. “New York has to show that we are here and we are going to recover,” and can help businesses and people at the same time.
Bloomberg said the marathon would “give people something to cheer about in what has been a very dismal week for a lot of people.”
Eventually the mayor cancelled the marathon for the first time in history.
Bloomberg also announced that all but 40 schools throughout the city will reopen on Monday morning.
So just how bad are things in New York City?
Police have been sent to protect places of interest such as filling stations and supply houses as fuel and other supplies are limited in an almost Mad Max-like fashion.
Officials in Brooklyn have been calling for the National Guard to come in, Mayor Bloomberg declined the Guard in fear of the police state presence.
According to a report by Tom Blumer;
Mayor Bloomberg has snubbed Borough President Markowitz’s impassioned plea to bring the National Guard to Hurricane Sandy-scarred Brooklyn — arguing that approving the Beep’s request would be a waste of federal manpower and turn the borough into a police state.
“We don’t need it,” Mayor Bloomberg said on Wednesday during a press update on the city’s ongoing Hurricane Sandy cleanup. “The NYPD is the only people we want on the street with guns.”
Markowitz demanded the National Guard’s help just an hour before Bloomberg’s press conference, claiming that the NYPD and FDNY are “brave — but overwhelmed” by all the challenges Sandy brought when it visited the borough on Monday night: flooding, power outages, and looting.
“All of our resources have been stretched to the limit,” Markowitz said. “In the name of public safety we need to send more National Guard personnel into Coney Island, Manhattan Beach, Gerritsen Beach, Red Hook, and any other locations.”
Markowitz hopes that the sight of an armed soldier would deter criminal activity in the still-unaccessible evacuation zones — such as the rash of break-ins that took place in Coney Island hours after Sandy kissed the borough goodbye — but the Mayor said the NYPD was more than capable of handling the job.
Is the NYPD capable of securing the city as supplies such as food, water, and fuel are limited in most areas with crime and looting are increasing daily?

“At the storm’s peak on Monday, police were receiving 20,000 calls per hour, said chief NYPD spokesman Paul Browne.
Even with those demands, police said they have not seen a spike in crime. Not a single murder has been reported in the city since the storm, according to the police department, compared to an average of just over one a day so far this year.”
Showing how there is some concern that the NYPD will ultimately fail in managing this crisis, wherein their scope is undefined at best.
Most citizens are reporting a lack of federal presence in the disaster stricken area.
Numerous bodies have been found throughout the rubble as FEMA drives up and down the streets with clipboards logging information.
Rescue workers are “non-existant” in the area according to some reports.
Heat is also a major concern amongst most as the weather is expected to get below 30°F in the coming week.

Northeast residents lucky enough to have a roof after Hurricane Sandy struck now face a new problem: a heating oil shortage and widespread power outages mean some homes may go cold as the weather turns wintry.
A cold snap in the New York City area – with daily low temperatures set to drop into the upper 30s Fahrenheit (2-4 degrees Celsius) early next week – is raising concerns that residents of the storm-stricken areas of New York, New Jersey or Connecticut could be left without heat as they recover from one of the worst storms in US history.
Some New York area heating oil distributors have already been forced to ration supplies. The fuel is used in nearly 5.8 million homes in the Northeast, the world’s largest heating oil market. In some storm hit areas, distribution has nearly collapsed.

I speak to Sarah who took an extra interest as she lives under Sandy’s path.
Sandy’s behaviour is inexplicable, and never happened before. A Hurricane at this time is very rare, and one that turns inland from the Atlantic ocean is unherad of. Drawing on publicly available data some video makers have pointed towards Haarp, Chemtrails and sonic undulation techniques.

To put this in perspective
Our previous posts clearly show that this storm was geoengineered. The reality that geoengineering is taking place can no longer be ignored.
