Two separate studies are providing insights into the earth-shaking consequences of the controversial gas extraction process known as fracking.
Both studies confirm that processes linked to the extraction of oil and gas through hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, can trigger manmade earthquakes. Fracking involves blasting water, sand and chemicals deep into the ground to fracture rock to obtain oil and natural gas.
Whooping Cough Vaccine Failure: Are The Vaccinated at Higher Risk? [video]
The Truther Girls
April 6, 2012
This is my response to some recent articles showing the failure of the DTP vaccine in older children. The vaccine has been shown to wear off after some time, but are vaccinated children actually at higher risk of developing clinical whooping cough (pertussis) than the unvaccinated?
As you will see, the vaccine protects only against clinical disease, not against subclinical (mild) disease or infection, and the vaccinated can serve as reservoirs to spread disease. The result is that over the years, whooping cough deaths in infants, who are most at risk of dying from this infection, have steadily risen over the past decades. This demonstrates that vaccinating older children and adults will never serve to protect the most vulnerable and will actually put them at greater risk, as the vaccinated continue to spread disease to them.
While the vaccine does offer some protection, this has to be weighed against the risk of SIDS and other adverse effects caused by the vaccine, such as encephalitis which can lead to brain damage, autoimmune disease from the injection of foreign animal proteins, and toxicity from and overload of aluminum adjuvant .

Confirmed: Oil From Deepwater Horizon Disaster Entered Food Chain
Science Daily
March 23, 2012
For months, crude oil gushed into the water at a rate of approximately 53,000 barrels per day; new study confirms that not only did oil affect the ecosystem in the Gulf during the blowout, but it was still entering the food web after the well was capped
Since the explosion on the BP Deepwater Horizon drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico on 20 April 2010, scientists have been working to understand the impact that this disaster has had on the environment. For months, crude oil gushed into the water at a rate of approximately 53,000 barrels per day before the well was capped on 15 July 2010. A new study confirms that oil from the Macondo well made it into the ocean’s food chain through the tiniest of organisms, zooplankton.
A University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science release reports that tiny drifting animals in the ocean, zooplankton are useful to track oil-derived pollution. They serve as food for baby fish and shrimp and act as conduits for the movement of oil contamination and pollutants into the food chain. The study confirms that not only did oil affect the ecosystem in the Gulf during the blowout, but it was still entering the food web after the well was capped.
Oil, which is a complex mixture of hydrocarbons and other chemicals, contains polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), which can be used to fingerprint oil and determine its provenance. The researchers were able to identify the signature unique to the Deep Water Horizon well in the Gulf of Mexico.

ADHD Diagnoses More Common in Younger Children
by Mike Barrett

A recent study has found that of every child in the same school grade level, the younger children are more likely to be diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) than children months older.
Although these children are noticed and targeted first — undoubtedly for their less mature behavior, the increase in prescriptions for ADHD medications over the years shows that the psychiatric and pharmaceutical industry are continually lessening the conditions upon which a child can be diagnosed with ADHD.
In British Columbia, the cutoff date for entering school in any year is December 31st, making children born in January the oldest in their grade, and children born in December the youngest. Researchers looked at approximately 1 million children ages 6-12 diagnosed with ADHD and found that those born in December were 39 percent more likely to be labeled as having ADHD, and 48 percent more likely to be treated with ADHD medication, than those born in January.
‘Our study suggests younger, less mature children are inappropriately being labeled and treated…it is important not to expose children to potential harms from unnecessary diagnosis and use of medications,’ study researcher Richard Morrow, of the University of British Columbia, said.
As rates of ADHD escalate each year, more and more children are stricken by not the ‘disorder’, but the medication that is prescribed to fix it.
ADHD has become one of the most commonly diagnosed childhood disorders today, with an average of 9 percent of children between the ages of 5 and 17 being diagnosed with the disease each year. Over 18 million prescriptions were written for Adderall in 2010, up 13.4 percent from 2009. The massive increase has actually led to ADHD medication shortages, where pharmaceutical companies are actually struggling to acquire enough of the active ingredient used in the drugs to ‘treat’ the ADHD label.
Children are prescribed these behavior altering drugs, which alter their brain chemistry and lead to more serious problems like depression and drug dependencies later in life. Pharmaceuticals are only a temporary fix that do not address the fundamental issues behind ADHD, or any disorder for that matter. The lack of necessity regarding these pharmaceuticals has even sparked outcry against antipsychotics by mainstream health officials.
Aside from an epidemic of misdiagnoses, an improper diet has everything to do with children expressing what would be viewed as ADHD-like behavior. For parents with children labeled with ADHD, try the simple test of helping to alter your child’s diet.

Sleeping pills linked to 460 percent increase in sudden death
by Jonathan Benson
Natural News
March 6, 2012
(NaturalNews) If you take pharmaceutical sleeping pills to help alleviate insomnia, you are very likely putting yourself at serious risk of developing cancer or even dying. A new study published in BMJ Open, an open-access journal that is part of the British Medical Journal family of publications, suggests that patients who take various benzodiazepines, non-benzodiazepines, barbiturates and sedative antihistamines for insomnia are 4.6 times more likely to die, on average, within two-and-a-half years than those who do not take these drugs.
Researchers from the Jackson Hole Center for Preventive Medicine in Wyoming and the Scripps Clinic Viterbi Family Sleep Center in California evaluated and analyzed data on more than 33,000 patients for their study, of which nearly one third were taking sleeping drugs like temazepam, zopiclone, zolpidem, or zaleplon for their insomnia. After adjusting for other risk factors, the team found that within roughly two years after beginning sleeping pill drug regimens, one in 16 sleeping pill patients died, while only one in 80 patients not taking these drugs died.
Depending on how often insomnia patients took their sleeping drugs, the overall death risk was as much as 530 percent higher than the death rate for non-users, which clearly illustrates a definitive and causal link between sleeping pills and increased mortality. And besides having an increased risk of suffering sudden death, sleeping pill users were also found to have a roughly 35 percent elevated risk of developing cancer compared to non-users as well.
“The meager benefits of hypnotics, as critically reviewed by groups without financial interest, would not justify substantial risks,” said the researchers. “Rough order-of-magnitude estimates at the end of the supplemental files suggest that in 2010, hypnotics (sleeping pills) may have been associated with 320,000 to 507,000 excess deaths in the USA alone.”

While patients with insomnia have a number of alternative treatment options available at their disposal that do not involve dangerous hypnotic drugs, many of them are unaware of this. A 2006 study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, for instance, found that simple cognitive behavior therapy is more effective than hypnotic drugs at alleviating insomnia (http://www.naturalnews.com/019492.html).
There are also a number of dietary and herbal remedies that can help remedy sleeping problems, including valerian root, peppermint, chamomile, passionflower, lavender, the amino acid L-glutamine, 5-hydroxytryptophan, and the hormone melatonin, to name just a few (http://www.naturalnews.com/025065_sleep_natural_herb.html).

A Higher Level of Freedom: Cannabis’ 120+ Benefits to Health
If the words ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’ don’t include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn’t worth the hemp it was written on. — Terence McKenna

While this article is not focused on the recreational use of cannabis, Terence McKenna’s quote speaks directly to a sacred right, increasingly being legislated against in our society, namely, the ability to choose and use substances that grow freely on this Earth as our medicine.
In a day and age where possession of an herb like cannabis is an offense punishable by incarceration, it is important for us to reflect on how we arrived at this dark point in time.
Herbs, after all, were put here by God. If you prefer the word Nature, the point is the same; and it was put best by Bob Marley when he said: “you can’t tell God it [cannabis] is illegal.”
And yet authorities are telling God, and you and me, that is is illegal, despite a growing body of scientific evidence that it has profound potential as a medicine. Does this not in some way call into question the very legitimacy and authority of those who would lay claim to the right to decide that a human can or cannot use a natural substance to improve their health, or enliven their spirit? As long as no harm is being done to others in the act of choosing what is best for oneself, who can rightfully take issue with the freedom to choose one’s own “medicine”?
Were it not for the fact that the human body is hard-wired to respond to cannabis through the endocannabinoid system (ES), claims for its medicinal value would have much less weight. The ES, in fact, encompasses a wide range of physiological processes, including appetite, pain sensation, mood and memory. So fundamental are these processes to what motivates and defines human behavior, it is no wonder that a plant with the power to directly affect these functions would be the subject of such profound controversy, as well as brutal socioeconomic and politically-mediated criminalization.
Indeed, the endocannabinoid system mediates the psychoactive effects of cannabis associated with its “highs” and sometimes “lows.” Any plant with the power to alleviate pain or illness, and which grows freely in the wild, represents a significant threat to a conventional medical establishment whose monopoly is founded on the coining of medicines from patented and proprietary chemicals.
Cannabis, however, is not a Johnny-come-lately to the fierce debate over whether traditional herbal medicines have proven safety and efficacy within the “evidence-based” model of medicine. In fact, few plants can lay claim to as much scientific, and particularly human clinical data supporting its right to exist alongside other prescribed medicines as a viable treatment option. Indeed, the GreenMedInfo.com project has uncovered 129 distinct disease categoriesthat may benefit from this remarkable plant thus far, and new studies are being added on a weekly basis.
Given the glut of research establishing the likelihood of a legitimate medicinal role for the plant in human disease prevention and treatment, the tide is beginning to turn against the miseducation of the public about this valuable herb. The fate of the practice of traditional herbalism itself, and our health freedom as a whole, hinges in many respects on whether the pharmaceutically-driven medical establishment, and the drug conviction-dependent privatized-prison industrial complex succeeds in maintaining the media-articulated stranglehold on mainstream opinion. We hope the positive cannabis science will arm those advocating for health freedom with the truth, and ask that you distribute it widely to those who are receptive to rational, science-based discourse on this herb’s benefits.
Possessing and using any herb, but especially one that has such a high level of safety, should be the choice of that free adult, and not grounds for the termination of their constitutional and human rights associated with arrest and imprisonment, which in this day and age is equivalent to enslavement and torture.

“Filling in for George Noory, Rob Simone (email) welcomed independent researcher Clifford Carnicom in the first half of the program for an exposé on the profound impact of chemtrails. Clifford said he prefers the term ‘aerosol’ in lieu of ‘chemtrail,’ as the former is more accurate in describing the introduction of particulate matter into the air. “Our environment has been altered,” he stated unequivocally, noting how the Earth’s atmosphere has been modified by the “largest covert operation that has ever been conducted on this planet.” Carnicom explained that the ubiquitous aerosol streaks in the sky are part of a multi-pronged program, which includes environmental modification and control, biological and electromagnetic operations, military applications, geophysical considerations, advanced light-wave surveillance, and detection of ionic disturbances (i.e., UFO propulsion systems).
According to Carnicom, the health of the entire global population has been affected to a significant degree by these aerosols. It has been strongly established that barium salts are in the airborne particulate matter, he continued. Soluble salts of barium are highly toxic, with the level of toxicity matching arsenic, he added. Carnicom also reported on a baffling ailment known as Morgellons disease, a condition he described as characterized by skin lesions and the presence of unusual filaments. He revealed that many people could be suffering from Morgellons but show no outward signs because the filaments are internal. Carnicom commented on a recent CDC report that dismissed the condition as the product of mentally unstable and delusional minds, and pointed out some issues he had with the study’s methodology.”…………….
