(NaturalNews) Ah, 2011 was a wonderful year for censored news, wasn’t it? We learned a lot this year about the FDA, the CDC, evil corporations and fruit cereal that contain no fruit. The problem is, the mainstream media never bothered to report any of it. Or if they did touch the stories, they distorted them to fit their own corporate agendas.
Here are the top ten most censored Natural News stories we covered this year:
#1 – The Rawesome Foods raid
In this act of food tyranny, the FDA teamed up with California Dept. of Agriculture thugs to conduct an armed raid on a private buyer’s club where they confiscated milk, cheese and watermelons. The mainstream media barely even touched this story, hoping no one would notice:

#2 – The Fukushima catastrophe

#6 – General Mills blueberry and pomegranate cereals found to contain no fruit
The press did actually pick up on this story a bit, but instead of crediting NaturalNews as the source, they simply ripped off the story and ran it as their own. One mainstream news channel featured a female “investigator” who claimed to have gone into the grocery store and “discovered” these General Mills cereals had no fruit. Predictably, they gave no credit to myself (the Health Ranger) or NaturalNews for actually doing the research and breaking the story:

#7 – CDC admits fluoride levels in the public water supply are dangerously high
2011 is the year that the CDC finally admitted fluoride is dangerous in the water supply. The mainstream media refused to cover that story, of course, and spent its time pretending that fluoride chemicals are somehow GOOD for public health!

#8 – Clinical trials invalidated by influence of the mind

#9 – HPV vaccines found contaminated with DNA / RNA of HPV
Gardasil vials were tested and found to be contaminated with the very viral fragments that the vaccine industry claims cause cervical cancer. The vaccines, in other words, were spreading the very disease they claimed to prevent!

#10 – CDC discredited with fraud indictment
This is the year that the CDC’s web of fraud began to unravel, starting with former CDC scientist Poul Thorsen who was indicted for money laundering fraud. And the money he allegedly laundered was — guess what? — CDC grant money for researching vaccines!

#11 – The National Defense Authorization Act
Okay, here’s a bonus item on this list, bringing it to eleven. The NDAA, passed by both the House and the Senate, would gut the Bill of Rights and allow Americans to be arrested, indefinitely detained, interrogated as prisoners in secret military prisons, and even assassinated by the U.S. military — all legally! The mainstream media predictably lied about this story and claimed it didn’t impact Americans. That turned out to be a complete fabrication:

Alert: Internet Censorship Bill Could Drastically Change Or Destroy Alternative Media

As many of you may know, there is currently a bill moving through the House that at the very least would drastically change the way that the alternative media, as well as the entire internet, operates.
We absolutely MUST take action and take action now!
The Stop Online Piracy Act, or SOPA is a form of Chinese style censorship that would be the beginning of end the internet as we know it.
Madison Ruppert, writing for his blog End the Lie, as well as The Intel Hub, explained exactly what SOPA would do:
SOPA would put completely legitimate sites, like End the Lie and countless other alternative news outlets at risk of being shut down, along with literally any site that freely allows users to post content.
That includes YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, Blogger, Craigslist, Dropbox and literally any website or service that allows users to upload content.
The United States Attorney General can not only seek court orders against “foreign infringing sites,” meaning any website with a non-U.S. domain name, but can also demand that internet service providers (ISPs) would have to cut off access to the site by not resolving domain name requests.
Furthermore, if served with one of the Attorney General’s court orders, search engines would have to remove any links to the site, payment networks would have to stop all payments to the site from U.S. customers and advertising networks would be forced to stop serving advertisements about the website or for the website.
But wait, it gets even worse. SOPA would require that within five days of receiving an allegation by a copyright holder, payment services and advertising networks would have to cut off all business with the site either U.S. based or foreign.
All the copyright holder has to do is allege that the site is “dedicated to the theft of property,” and if the payment provider and advertising networks don’t cease business within five days, the copyright holder can file a private lawsuit against the site compelling the payment service and others to cut off relations.
Furthermore, The Atlantic reports that the definition of “dedicated” in this bill “has little relation to common usage,” and in addressing the bill they characterize it as “dangerous.”
The website, Americancensorship.org has put together easy to use tools to mail Congress and get the word out about this disgusting bill.
Over the last few years we have all seen the attempts by the establishment and Hollywood to censor key parts of the internet, but now these attempts have gained much more steam and do have a chance of passing if we sit idly by and do nothing.

Occupy Wall Street Website Bans So Called Alex Jones Conspiracy Theories, Makes Fun of Ron Paul

As the Occupy Movements continue to gain steam around the country the one thing many in the alternative media originally feared has become reality.
The Occupy Movements unofficial de facto website is now censoring free speech, making fun of the ONLY candidate that could restore this country, and banning all so called conspiracy theories from the likes of Alex Jones and David Icke.
That’s right, the people behind the main Occupy website are basically denying the 99% freedom of speech and calling documented fact (Alex Jones’ work) a conspiracy theory.

No Platform.Conspiracy theories, including any attempt to spam material by David Icke, Lyndon LaRouche, David Duke or Alex Jones, will be removed immediately and the spammer will receive a swift global network ban. The forum rules, posted October 30th, also include a direct attack on Ron Paul, the only candiate that has a 100% solid voting record and is targeting the real powers controlling our country.
We do not support an election campaign for 2012. At all. We have removed election material for Obama, Paul, Warren, Paul, Cain, Paul, Perry, Paul, the green party, Paul, Nader, Paul, and did I mention Paul?
The spamming by the Ron Lawl 2012 fan club was getting out of hand. We will continue to remove such material and any call for the Paul 2012 campaign will, at this point, be considered spamming. End of. We’re tired of hearing about it. Main street debates are also largely off topic.
Notice how they first list all candidates but rather than expose Obamas direct connections to Wall Street, Rick Perry’s forced vaccines on young girls, or Hermain Cains past employment with the Federal Reserve, they go on to make fun of Ron Paul in a way we have seen the corporate controlled media do thousands of times.
The only people that would be tired of hearing about ending the private Federal Reserve and the numerous illegal wars we now find ourselves in are people who are a PART of the system and want to keep their supporters within that controlled system.
This is a tried and true form of censorship and has lead many to believe that the website has now been taken over by those who wish to keep us in the left right paradigm and stop citizens from finding the real truth about who controls our country and makes the real policy decisions.
It should also be noted that they condescending way they attack Ron Paul and his supporters is simply ANOTHER tried and true form to get the sheeple from supporting any real candidate or movement by making fun of them rather than acknowledging any of their opinions or proposals.

The Department of Justice is attempting to criminalize uploading videos that break You Tube’s terms of service, along with any other online action that is deemed to contravene a website’s usage policy, in a shocking expansion of cybersecurity laws deemed draconian by critics.
“In a statement obtained by CNET that’s scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, the Justice Department argues that it must be able to prosecute violations of Web sites’ often-ignored, always-unintelligible “terms of service” policies,” writes Declan McCullagh.
Such violations would include creating a fake Facebook profile, lying about your weight on dating websites, or providing any other item of false information that violates a website’s TOS agreement.
