Worth Repeating: Suicide Rates Fall In Medical Marijuana States
Toke Signals with Steve Elliott
September 20, 2013
Editor’s note: Welcome to Room 420, where your instructor is Mr. Ron Marczyk and your subjects are wellness, disease prevention, self actualization, and chillin’.
“We conclude that the legalization of medical marijuana leads to an improvement in the psychological well being of young adult males, an improvement that is reflected in fewer suicides.”
This story didn’t make it past the network news filters, was ignored by the mainstream media, and numerous mental health/suicide prevention organizations would not even comment about it!
Wall Street Journal – Does Medical Marijuana Reduces Suicides?
Then, 17 days later:
American Independent – Study: Suicide Rates Fall When States Legalize Medical Marijuana
Why would a “good news” marijuana story, like where suicides markedly declined, be ignored by the media?

The Daily Chronic: http://tinyurl.com/lzldkxr
Now some truth and daylight as reported by three American researchers who had their findings published by the Institute for the Study of Labor in Bonn, Germany.
Why wouldn’t it be published in the U.S.? Is it safe for a researcher and his or her future academic funding to challenge government dogma and publish contrary evidence domestically?
Apparently it may not be, because it contradicts the misinformation and the socially engineered negative propaganda campaign against marijuana by self-serving interests since 1937.

If the results of this study reported the opposite results, it would be the lead headline nationwide, I assure you. The emperor truly has no clothes!
Implications of the research:
• Marijuana improves the “psychological well being” of young adult males and saves lives!
• Marijuana’s major actions are that of an anti-depressant, anti-anxiety and anti-anger medication.
• Marijuana reduces alcohol consumption in this at risk population.

CDC: Painkillers Kill Four Times More than Cocaine and Heroin Combined
by Anthony Gucciardi
Natural Society
September 20, 2013
A powerful report spanning 10 years from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has revealed that painkillers are actually responsible for a whopping four times as many deaths as both heroin and cocaine combined.
The admission coincides with the initial report I told you about back in 2011, in which it was exposed that painkillers were killing around 15,000 per year back in 2008 (still more than cocaine and heroin combined). But now, we’re not just looking at a single year of data. Instead, we’re looking through an entire decade of statistics that paint a picture of just how deadly our ‘legal’ drug industry is — and it turns out it’s even more deadly than the illegal drug trade.
Even more deadly than two of the most hardcore drugs that money can buy… or at least two of the most hardcore illegal drugs that money can buy.
VIDEO — How and Why Adam Kokesh was Framed
We Are Change
August 7, 2013
WeAreChange goes to the home of activist and YouTube host Adam Kokesh to find out what happened on the night he was raided and arrested. Kokesh’s home was raided following a video he released of him loading a shotgun in Washington D.C. as an act of civil disobedience to protest laws that restrict or deny people of the 2nd amendment. Kokesh did not threaten anyone with the shotgun or use it in any violent way. When his home was raided, the police said that they found magic mushrooms in his safe along with his guns which is a felony charge in Virginia. Kokesh and his housemates who were there on the night of the raid claim the drugs were not Kokesh’s and that he is being set up. They claim the house and the safe was completely clean of any illegal substances and that they actually witnessed police bringing in evidence bags that were already full. Kokesh is currently being held in solitary confinement and has been denied bail.

VIDEO — Drowning in Drugs: Heroin cheaper than food in Pakistan
RT
July 21, 2013
Over one billion dollars’ worth of heroin each year – that is the deadly fallout Pakistan gets from the blooming narcotics industry that provides the main cash crop in devastated Afghanistan. Locals say heroin is cheaper than food. It’s thought Pakistan has more than four million drug addicts, but less than 80 dedicated drug rehab clinics. As RT’s Lucy Kafanov reports from Karachi, those heroin addicts don’t even bother hiding their habit. For many this is a deadly path.

VIDEO — Activist Adam Kokesh will run for President to abolish U.S. government
By John Henrehan
FOX 5
July 18, 2013
FAIRFAX, Va. –
Anti-government activist Adam Kokesh, who is currently jailed on drug charges and is facing a firearms charge in D.C., says he will someday run for President on a platform of abolishing the federal government.
Since July 9th, 31-year old Adam Kokesh has been incarcerated in a cell in the Fairfax County jail which measures seven by seven-and-a-half feet.
On Independence Day, Kokesh had a colleague record a video of the pro-gun activist loading a shotgun on D.C.’s Freedom Plaza. The District has strict gun control laws that generally forbid the carrying of firearms. U.S. Park Police and D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department opened an investigation.
Several days later, U.S. Park Police used a flash grenade when their SWAT team served a search warrant at Kokesh’s home in Herndon, Va. Kokesh was arrested when officers said they found hallucinogenic mushrooms at the house.
In an exclusive jailhouse interview, Adam Kokesh denies any connection to the drugs. Here is part of the transcript of that interview with Kokesh: “If they found a stash of magic mushrooms in my house, they were not mine. ANY IDEA WHOSE THEY WERE, OR WHY THEY WERE IN YOUR HOUSE? I’m pretty confident that, whether or not they found anything, the full paper bags that [U.S. Park Police] brought into my house would insure that they had charges to bring against me. ARE YOU IMPLYING THAT THOSE DRUGS WERE PLANTED? Yes.”
