Late last night a shootout occurred in Toronto which is now being labelled as the worst case of gun violence in the cities history. 22 people were injured, 19 of those from gunshot wounds with 2 confirmed deaths. Indeed this was a horrifically tragic event however we must be careful not to over react especially in the face of a new UN global arms trade treaty which seeks to disarm the entire world.
