And according to leaked emails – allegedly from his account – Bashar Al-Assad is under Iranian guidance, and ridicules his own reforms. But as RT’s Laura Smith reports, there’s considerable doubt about the credibility of the claims, which come from splintered opposition groups.
In Syria, protesters are marking the anniversary of the mass uprising with anti-Assad demonstrations across the country. But thousands are also rallying in the capital, in support of the President.
