A Durham Region police officer threatened to beat up a man and plant cocaine on him during a one-sided, expletive-filled confrontation, a graphic video shows.
“I hurt people . . . and then I make their cocaine f—ing appear,” the armed constable barks into the face of the burly, young man. “You see how I work. . . . See what I do.”

Frank James MacArthur has been a positive voice in the Baltimore community for years and now with the internet he has been able to take his activism to a global level.
His outspokenness has always made him a target for police, a problem common among many activists.
Back in December he has been taken into custody by police after a 5 hour standoff at his home where he broadcasted the kidnapping live to listeners worldwide.
After nearly 6 months of wrongful imprisonment and having his whole life torn apart, James is finally free, and ready to get back in the fight.
It is said that the average American commits three felonies a day just in their day to day financial transactions.
With that being the case, if you ruffle enough feathers and the “powers that shouldn’t be” decide to come after you, they aren’t going to have to look too hard to find something to harass you about, regardless of what you do in your free time.
In all reality MacArthur is guilty of no real crime, but he has apparently disobeyed some of the state’s laws and commands.
According to media reports, the only reason he is wrapped up in the system is because of trumped up gun charges dating years back.
I say trumped up, because any gun charge where someone has not been shot at, is a trumped up charge. MacArthur’s so called offenses were not violent and he is not a violent person.
It is obvious that he has been targeted because of his activism and his outspoken attitude towards authority.
He has been relentless on issues of police brutality and legal oppression, and has probobly been an annoyance to the department for years.
In addition to his local activism MacArthur also runs baltimorespectator.com and a radio network through that website.
On Monday night (time TBA) MacArthur will host a press conference from his website, to take questions from supporters and media. Stay tuned for more information on this developing story.

VIDEO — 100 Days of Guantanamo Hunger Strike: Special Coverage
Russia Today
May 21, 2013
May 16 marks a dark milestone in the history of the world’s most maligned prison – 100 days of a mass hunger strike at Guantanamo Bay. Out of 166 inmates – 130 are on strike according to prisoners, while the military only admits to 102. At least a third of them are being force fed – a procedure recognized by various medical organizations as painful enough to constitute torture. And by all accounts – there’s no end in sight to the protest.
RT discusses the stand-off with former Guantanamo detainee Moazzam Begg, who’s now the Director of the Cageprisoners activist group, Attorney Pardiss Kebriaei, the legal representative of 8 Guantanamo detainees, military attorney Lt. Col Barry Wingard on the line from the detention camp, and Col. Morris Davis, former Chief Prosecutor for the Terrorism Trials at Guantanamo Bay.

Page 30:
It may be hoped that in time anybody will be able to persuade anybody of anything if he can catch the patient young and is provided by the State with money and equipment.
This subject will make great strides when it is taken up by scientists under a scientific dictatorship. Anaxagoras maintained that snow is black, but no one believed him. The social psychologists of the future will have a number of classes of school children on whom they will try different methods of producing an unshakable conviction that snow is black. Various results will soon be arrived at. First, that the influence of home is obstructive. Second, that not much can be done unless indoctrination begins before the age of ten. Third, that verses set to music and repeatedly intoned are very effective. Fourth, that the opinion that snow is white must be held to show a morbid taste for eccentricity. . . . It is for future scientists to make these maxims precise and discover exactly how much it costs per head to make children believe that snow is black, and how much less it would cost to make them believe it is dark gray.
Pages 50-51:
Fichte laid it down that education should aim at destroying free will, so that, after pupils have left school, they shall be incapable, throughout the rest of their lives, of thinking or acting otherwise than as their schoolmasters would have wished. But in his day this was an unattainable ideal: … In future such failures are not likely to occur where there is dictatorship. Diet, injections, and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable, and any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible. Even if all are miserable, all will believe themselves happy, because the government will tell them that they are so.
Page 51:
Children will, as in Plato’s Republic, be taken from their mothers and reared by professional nurses. Gradually, by selective breeding, the congenital differences between rulers and ruled will increase until they become almost different species. A revolt of the plebs would become as unthinkable as an organized insurrection of sheep against the practice of eating mutton.
