In Bahrain there is ongoing repression of the civilian population by the Khalifa regime’s security and military apparatus, which is predominately comprised of foreign nationals.
The following is a footage from the opposition outlet Media Centre of the Revolution in Bahrain about a peaceful protest that was suppressed on May 10, 2014.
While Bahraini citizens are suppressed by the Khalifa regime and its Saudi allies, the US government and the European Union say nothing, instead selling these Arab dictatorships more arms. The hypocrisy of the same Arab tyrants and their Western backers is clear: they talk about intervening in Syria for humanitarian reasons to save the people there, but fall silent when it comes to Bahrain, where an unarmed civilian population is being repressed daily.

Donetsk People’s Republic has declared itself a sovereign state. It follows a referendum on the status of the area which has seen massive anti-government protests in recent. Lugansk has followed suit in declaring itself a sovereign state just after announcing the results of its referendum.

People flocked to a polling station in Ukraine’s Mariupol Sunday morning, as several locations across the city did not open fearing violence. Citizens of the two southeastern regions of Ukraine are being asked if they “support the Act of state self-rule” of Donetsk People’s Republic or Lugansk People’s Republic.
