A video clip shot yesterday at Columbus Ohio Airport illustrates how the Transportation Security Administration has dreamed up a bizarre new way to waste time and taxpayer dollars – by testing drinks purchased by travelers for explosives inside the airport long after they have already passed security.

Rape Victim Traumatized By “Horrific” TSA Experience

Woman told by screener her genitals would be groped

A woman who was the victim of a brutal rape underwent a “horrific” experience at the hands of TSA agents this past weekend at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport which ended up with her checking into a psychiatric ward.

Brennan Dunn, the woman’s husband, posted an account of his wife’s experience on the Flyer Talk website.

Dunn’s wife had been subjected to a violent sexual assault and death threats at the hands of three men in Florida five years previously, an experience that led to her committing self-harm and being forced to take medication and attend therapy sessions.

Traveling out of Florida due to a death in the family, Dunn’s wife was asked to go through a backscatter x-ray device. When she said she would like to opt out, the TSA agent graphically described to her how “they will need to touch your privates,” a threat routinely used by TSA screeners to intimidate people into going through the body scanner.

“That just about did it for my wife, and she started shaking, sweating, and ended up going through the backscatter,” writes Dunn.

However, despite passing through the x-ray device, TSA agents claimed an “anomaly” in the woman’s bra mandated she be patted down on her breasts.

When the woman asked for the pat down to take place in a private room with her husband present, the TSA agent became visibly annoyed and aggressive.

“As she started shaking and sobbing in the room as the TSO began to touch her breasts, I gently touched her arm. Big mistake – the TSO yelled that I couldn’t touch her and that I’d need to go through screening again,” writes Dunn.

Despite taking medication to try and forget the experience, the woman’s trauma did not subside.

“Once we got to our home airport, she vomited in the bathroom and asked me to take her to the ER. Last night she checked into our local hospital, and they’re wanting to transfer her to a psychiatric ward for a few days until she stabilizes,” writes Dunn, adding, “Is this worth it? Had she been permitted to go through the metal detector, she would have been fine. But the language of the TSOs and lack of sympathy towards anyone with mental health issues is repulsive. Every mental health professional we’ve talked to despises what the TSA is doing.”

Rape counselors have warned that women who have been sexually assaulted face treatment metered out by TSA screeners that can be “extremely re-traumatizing to someone who has already experienced an invasion of their privacy and their body.” An estimated one in six women in the United States have been the victim of an attempted or completed rape.

In December 2010, 56-year-old rape victim Claire Hirschkind was arrested for refusing to receive an “enhanced” pat down from a TSA officer at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

The fact that TSA pat down procedures now often involve screeners physically touching people’s genitals is documented.

Back in May, Fox News host Geraldo Rivera described how he was “manually raped” by a TSA agent who touched his “junk”.

In November 2010, we reported the story of how radio host Owen JJ Stone was told by a TSA screener that his pat down would include the screener putting his hands down Stone’s pants. The TSA worker directly patted down his testicles, penis and backside while his hand was inside Stone’s pants. Stone was initially embarrassed to reveal the full scope of the groping but related the details of what amounted to nothing less than outright sexual molestation.

Also in November 2010, blogger Erin Chase went public to reveal how she literally had her vagina groped by a TSA screener, who touched both her labia as well as her buttocks and breasts during a pat down.

Former Miss USA Susie Castillo also revealed how a TSA worker touched her vagina during a pat down at Dallas-Fort Worth airport in April 2011 after she refused to go through a body scanner.

New laser-based molecular scanner will tell the government everything about you from 164 ft away

By Madison Ruppert
Editor of End the Lie
July 10, 2012

As ludicrously farfetched as the headline sounds, there is in fact a new laser-based scanner built by Genia Photonics – who is currently in “a strategic partnership and technology development agreement with In-Q-Tel” – which can detect traces of just about anything on your person from a stunning 50 meters, or 164 feet, away in somewhere around 1/1000000000000th of a second.

One must realize that as disturbing as this may sound, it is really not all that shocking when you consider the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS’s) Future Attribute Screening Technology or the rise and continuing growth of nearly ubiquitous use of facial recognition technology.

Genia Photonics refers to the ability of these types of picoseconds synchronized programmable lasers to be used for “standoff threat detection.” Essentially, this is just a different way of saying the government will soon be able to scan your body, car or belongings for just about any molecule or substance they please without you knowing, all at unimaginable speeds.

If this is rolled out as soon as Tara O’Toole, under secretary for science and technology of the DHS, claimed it would be during her testimony on November 17, 2011, it will become just one of many parts of the American surveillance state.

O’Toole claimed that the DHS Science and Technology Directorate’s first project with the U.S. intelligence community’s investment arm In-Q-Tel – which includes the work with Genia Photonics – is “expected to produce transition-ready technologies in the next 12 to 24 months.”

That means that as soon as 2013 we could see equipment somewhere around one million times more sensitive than what is available now. It can also scan ten million times faster than any currently available system and due to the portable nature, it can be used in airports to scan every single person.

According to Genia Photonics, their laser scanner technology can “penetrate clothing and many other organic materials and offers spectroscopic information, especially for materials that impact safety such as explosives and pharmacological substances.”

One can only assume that this means that the laser scanning system could not only be remotely inspecting passengers for explosives but also drugs or any other banned goods.

The claims made by the company – which holds over 30 patents on this technology – are, to say the least, quite extraordinary.

They are “claiming incredible biomedical and industrial applications—from identifying individual cancer cells in a real-time scan of a patient, to detecting trace amounts of harmful chemicals in sensitive manufacturing processes,” according to Gizmodo.

In-Q-Tel seems to be most attracted to the extreme portability and ease of use in many environments. On matters like this, all we can do is speculate, but I personally would be surprised if this wasn’t used as part of the nationwide growth of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) outside of airports.

Our partnership with Genia Photonics will build on the company’s success in the commercial market,” said Simon Davidson, Partner on In-Q-Tel’s Investments team, according to a press release. “Genia Photonics’ fiber-based technology will lead to unique possibilities for our customers in the U.S. Intelligence Community.”

In-Q-Tel also states, “an important benefit of Genia Photonics’ implementation as compared to existing solutions is that the entire synchronized laser system is comprised in a single, robust and alignment-free unit that may be easily transported for use in many environments… This compact and robust laser has the ability to rapidly sweep wavelengths in any pattern and sequence.”

This means that the DHS or any of their child agencies like the TSA could easily roll these out to the many places they now operate like major sporting events, train stations, highways and more.

If we can take the past as any indicator, we can trust that they almost certainly will end up using this technology as much as possible if it works as claimed.

Intel Hub Press Members Harassed by TSA Agents In Route to Bilderberg 2012 [video included]

May 29, 2012

This morning Shepard and myself left our house before 4am in route to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport with the belief that we would most likely be at least mildly targeted by the TSA.

Upon arrival we were happy to find out that they were not using the dangerous naked body scanners. Sadly, they were actively patting down old women and journalists as possible terrorists.

In the video below you will notice a TSA agent single out the founder of theintelhub.com for a full scale bag search. The agent then preceded to pull every piece of journalism equipment out and inspect it for apparent terrorism connections.

What was not caught on our cell camera was the dirty looks and freak out mode that took place after Shep filmed the agent. We were also witness to a 70 year old elderly women being felt up by what can only be described as a butch type TSA agent.

Jason Bermas, theintelhub.com’s third team member, was also harassed in New York with TSA agents attempting to force him through the body scanners.

We also released a video on the way to the airport and one after we finished with the Orwellian Security:

TSA pushing to have body scanners nationwide? [video]

Russia Today
April 20, 2012

The Transportation Security Administration has been the subject of criticism by seemingly all who fly in the USA. The TSA is accused of violating privacy when it asks travelers to go through full body scan machines all for the supposed sake of national security. One of the companies behind the controversial equipment is now pushing to have these scanners installed nationwide. So do the full body scanners make us safer? Charlie McGrath, founder of WideAwakeNews.com, joins us for more.

Woman Sobs During TSA Grope Down [video]

Pat down most likely triggered rape-related PTSD

by Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet.com

April 16, 2012

A video clip shot at a security line at Dane County Regional Airport in Madison shows a woman, most likely suffering from some kind of rape-related post traumatic stress disorder, quietly sobbing as she is subjected to a TSA grope down.

http://youtu.be/BSwKHDl9PtE

As the National Center for Victims of Crime website highlights, rape-related post traumatic stress disorder can be triggered by the victim “re-experiencing the trauma,” specifically, “any event that symbolizes the trauma of rape,” which is a very real possibility given the scope of TSA security procedures.

A retired police officer with experience of rape cases who contacted the Gateway Pundit blog said the woman in the video was probably sobbing because the TSA grope down triggered her PTSD.

“That kind of response is from a woman who was traumatized before,” he remarked, adding, “It makes my old retired cop blood boil. The TSA isn’t the police, but they play them in airports and the real police take it in the shorts. There would have been NO police officer on my department that would have allowed such treatment of a crying woman like that. None!”

According to the FBI’s new definition of rape, an act of rape occurs when there is “penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.”

As we have previously covered, advanced TSA pat downs now include screeners literally touching people’s genitals as part of the process.

During the height of the national op-out day backlash against the TSA, the Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg was told by a TSA agent directly that pat downs were made increasingly invasive not for any genuine security reason, but to make the experience so uncomfortable for the traveler that they would be forced to use the body scanner, which in itself has been proven to be completely useless for security purposes yet poses a major health threat.

This latest video is yet another drop in the ocean of evidence which mandates that airports should take advantage of recently passed legislation which enables them to opt out of the TSA and replace them with private security.
