Russian Expert Predicts Obama Will Declare Martial Law in America by End of 2012

Igor Panarin, dean of the Russian Foreign Ministry School for future diplomats, believes that President Obama will announce martial law by the end of 2012.

He explains: “There’s a 55-45% chance right now that disintegration will occur.”

In 2009, Panarin lectured at the Diplomatic Academy where he stated that he believes that the US will begin to collapse in 2010.

He compared America to Nazi Germany and blamed the US for the global financial crisis that destroyed the Russian economy.

Panarin said that American society is in decline, referencing school shootings like Columbine. Combined with the banker bailouts in 2008 as proof that the US is no longer the global dominating economy, Paranrin believes that the American dream is over.

He asserts that mass immigration, economic decline, and moral degradation will plunge America into a civil war that will center on the collapse of the US dollar.

Panarin created a map of how he perceived the US would be divided. He asserted that parts of the US would be taken over by foreign interests.

Considering the social climate emerging in America, Panarin’s words seem prophetic.

Lubbock County Judge Tom Head said on a local FOX affiliate station that he is convinced that Obama’s re-election would spawn civil unrest which would justify the US government’s use of martial law to quell the public.

Head is seeking an increase in local taxes to “beef up” the Lubbock County Sheriff’s office and district attorney’s office.

Head expressed concern that Obama would deploy UN NATO troops onto US soil should civil unrest be declared.

Head said:

“He’s going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the U.S. to the United Nations, what’s going to happen when that happens?

I’m thinking worst case scenario. Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe…we’re not just talking a few riots or demonstrations.”

In March of 2012, Obama signed the National Defense Resources Preparedness (NDRP) executive order that declared peacetime marital law. Obama granted himself authority over all domestic energy, production, transportation, food and water, all in the name of National Security.

The NDRP has roots in the Defense Production Act of 1950 wherein the US government was empowered to dispense “national resources” in the event of a national emergency that would define any or all Americans as a challenge to the government.

Control over all US citizens would be required to maintain continuity of government.

The president and advisors would be able to use this directive as they saw fit if the situation warranted it.

It was no mistake that the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) declared the domestic US a “battlefield”. The ability to detain any American citizen without charge or trial, solely on suspicion is key to the power of the NDAA.

As defined in the NDRP, the President allocated control over American resources to specific federal agencies to oversee their dispensation.

  •    The Secretary of Defense has power over all water resources
  •    The Secretary of Commerce has power over all material services and facilities, including construction materials
  •    The Secretary of Transportation has power over all forms of civilian transportation
  •    The Secretary of Agriculture has power over food resources and facilities, livestock plant health resources, and the domestic distribution of farm equipment
  •    The Secretary of Health and Human Services has power over all health resources
  •    The Secretary of Energy has power over all forms of energy

Under Nazi-controlled Germany, the beginning of Totalitarian control was evidenced in May of 1942 when freezing of food prices led to national rationing in 1943.

With the Nazis controlling resource dispersion, all citizens needed ration cards to obtain food, gas, and even a vacation pass that allotted the restriction of movement.

Between the NDAA and NDRP, a Nazi-model of control over the general population in America is laid out.

The Executive Branch, having been given the power to control all resources that are necessary to sustain all citizens, have forced Americans to become completely subservient to the US government.

The executive order is not permitted by the US Constitution which states:

“All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”

The advent of executive orders completely circumvents the power of the Congress and gives the Executive Branch unilateral power. The use of executive orders has become popular as a way to control America in wartime and advent of national emergencies.

Obama has set a precedent by announcing the pre-cursor to suspension of the US Constitution during peacetime.

The first suspension of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights was performed by Abraham Lincoln during the US Civil War. This enabled Lincoln to authorize the unlawful detainment of “political prisoners” without Congressional approval.

The second declaration of unconstitutional detainment of US citizens was ordered by President FDR in 1941 with the roundup of Japanese-Americans who were sent to detainment camps to be held without charge during WW II.

For the past 30 years, plans for the takeover of America have been laid in a long line of executive orders.

By stifling Congressional approval, the Executive Branch has been empowered to detain any and all US citizens, suspend all media, and restrict any and all Americans in any and all ways deemed appropriate by the President.

We are in the midst of a Fascist takeover of our Constitutional Republic.

Australia, the US, and the Asia-Pacific Pivot [video]

Boiling Frogs Video
August 28, 2012

Formalized under the so-called ANZUS treaty in 1951, the military alliance between Australia and the United States has long defined Australia’s role in the security context of the Asia-Pacific region. Formed in the wake of World War II when memories of Japanese aggression in the Pacific were still fresh in the minds of Australians, it was invoked most prominently during Australia’s commitment of over 60,000 troops in the Vietnam war from 1962 to 1975.

Even given these decades of close cooperation, however, it still took many by surprise when it was announced last year at a joint press conference by US President Obama and Australian Prime Minister Gillard that that alliance was about to be deepened and expanded with the deployment of a permanent US marine presence in Darwin, Australia.

Find out more about this alliance in this week’s edition of The Eyeopener report.

Turkey Violating Geneva Conventions Using Ambulances for Weapons Transport

Friends of Syria
August 28, 2012

Turkish ambulances are being used for the purposes of transporting weapons to terrorist groups in Syria, according to Russian news reports.“Witnesses in Kushakli, Harran and Buculmez, towns bordering Syria, also have reported that ambulances are carrying arms to the Arab country and back, and are moving wounded toTurkey, as declared by the deputy of the province of Hatay, Mevlut Dudu” (see article: Captured terrorist in Syria confesses to having received training in Turkey.Under the Geneva conventions, you cannot target medical vehicles – it is a war crime!

The Geneva Conventions are a set of international rules that govern the treatment of prisoners, the sick and wounded, and civilians during war. Under the Geneva Conventions, for example, ambulances and military hospitals and their staff are officially “neutral and are not to be fired upon.”

Nearly all countries of the world have agreed to the Geneva Conventions, including Turkey, a NATO ally and military friend of the United States.

Article 1. Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded in Armies in the Field. Geneva, 22 August 1864 states:
“Ambulances and military hospitals shall be recognized as neutral, and as such, protected and respected by the belligerents as long as they accommodate wounded and sick” (source:http://www.icrc.org/ihl.nsf/full/120?opendocument ).

Turkey appears to be violating the Geneva Conventions in this regard by using Ambulances to transport weapons.

“The rules applying to ambulances or other ground vehicles are pretty straightforward”, said one Pentagon source, who refused to be identified in this report out of fear of being punished by higher ups.

“Like medical personnel, they “may in no circumstances be attacked,” but must be “respected and protected,” according to Articles 35 and 19 of the First Geneva Convention of 1949. They also should be marked with the Red Cross or Red Crescent emblem. They are subject to inspection and lose their protection, subject to a prior warning and a reasonable time limit, if they are used to commit acts harmful to the enemy that are outside their humanitarian duties. If these accounts are true, then Turkey is violating the Geneva Convention, plain and simple”, he said.

According to the U.S. State Department Turkey has received $21 billion dollars in aid from the United States, $14 billion of that in direct military aid (see article: TURKEY received $21 billion economic/military US foreign aid http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/3432.htm ).

We contacted NATO officials in Brussels, Belguim who refused “official comment” on Turkey’s blatant violations of the Geneva Conventions, calling the reports “baseless and unsubstantiated.”

Pravda.ru and PressTV officials however stand by their reports, saying they are both factual and accurate.

Canadian church defends decision to boycott Israeli products [video]

Press TV
August 26, 2012

The United Church of Canada has defended its decision to promote a boycott of Israeli products produced in illegal settlements. The church has found itself being criticized by pro-Israel media pundits in Canada who denounced the Church’s decision as one-sided. Church leaders say their decision to pass motions which endorse a boycott aligns them with the international legal consensus on the settlements.

The Endless War: Saudi Arabia Goes On The Offensive Against Iran

NWOTruth
August 27, 2012

Submitted by Felix Imonti of OilPrice.com,

Saudi Arabia has gone on the offensive against Iran to protect its interests.  Their involvement in Syria is the first battle in what is going to be a long bloody conflict that will know no frontiers or limits.

Ongoing Disorders in the island kingdom of Bahrain since February of 2011 have set off alarm bells in Riyadh.  The Saudis are convinced that Iran is directing the protests and fear that the problems will spill over the twenty-five kilometer long COSWAY into  oil rich Al-Qatif, where The bulk of the two million Shia in the kingdom are concentrated.  So far, the Saudis have not had to deal with demonstrations a serious as those in Bahrain, but success in the island kingdom could encourage the protestors to become more violent.

Protecting the oil is the first concern of the government.  Oil is the sole source of the national wealth and it is managed by the state owned Saudi Aramco Corporation.  The monopoly of political power by the members of the Saud family means that all of the wealth of the kingdom is their personal property.  Saudi Arabia is a company country with the twenty-eight million citizens the responsibility of the Saud Family rulers.

The customary manner of dealing with a problem by the patriarchal regime is to bury it in money.  King Abdullah announced at the height of the Arab Spring that he was increasing the national budget by 130 billion dollars to be spent over the coming five years.  Government salaries and the minimum wage were raised.  New housing and other benefits are to be provided.  At the same time, he plans to expand the security forces by sixty thousand men.

While the Saudi king seeks to sooth the unrest among the general population by adding more government benefits, he will not grant any concessions to the eight percent of the population that is Shia. He takes seriously the warning by King Abdullah of Jordan back in 2004 of the danger of a Shia Crescent that would extend from the coast of Lebanon to Afghanistan.  Hezbollah in Lebanon, Assad in Syria, and the Shia controlled government of Iraq form the links in the chain.

When the Arab Spring reached Syria, the leaders in Riyadh were given the weapon to break the chain.  Appeals from tribal leaders under attack in Syria to kinsmen in the Gulf States for assistance could not be ignored.  The various blinks between the Gulf States in several Syrian tribes means that Saudi Arabia and its close ally Qatar have connections that include at least three million people out of the Syrian populations of twenty-three million.  To show how deep the bonds go, the leader of the Nijris Tribe in Syria is married to a woman from the Saud Family.

It is no wonder that Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal said in February that arming the Syrian rebels was an “excellent idea.”  He was supported by Qatari Prime Minister Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani who said, “We should do whatever necessary to help [the Syrian opposition], including giving them weapons to defend themselves.”  The intervention has the nature of a family and tribal issue that the prominent Saudi cleric Aidh al-Qarni has turned into a Sunni-Shia War by promoting Assad’s death.

The Saudis and their Qatar and United Arab Emirate allies have pledged one hundred million dollars to pay wages to the fighters.  Many of the officers of the Free Syrian Army are from tribes connected to the Gulf.  In effect, the payment of wages is paying members of associated tribes.

Here, the United States is not a welcomed partner, except as a supplier of arms.  Saudi Arabia sees the role of the United States limited to being a wall of steel to protect the oil wealth of the Kingdom and the Gulf States from Iranian aggression. In February of 1945, President Roosevelt at a meeting in Egypt with Abdel Aziz bin Saud, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia, pledged to defend the kingdom in exchange for a steady flow of oil.

Since those long ago days when the U.S. was establishing Pax Americana, the Saudis have lost their trust in the wisdom or the reliability of American policy makers.  The Saudis urged the U.S. not to invade Iraq in 2003 only to have them ignore Saudi interests in maintaining an Iraqi buffer zone against Iran.  The Saudis had asked the U.S. not to leave a Shia dominated government in Baghdad that would threaten the Northern frontier of the Kingdom, only to have the last American soldiers depart in December 2011.  With revolution sweeping across the Middle East, Washington abandoned President Mubarak of Egypt, Saudi Arabia’s favorite non royal leader in the region.

Worried by the possibility of Iranian sponsored insurrections among Shia in the Gulf States, the Saudis are asserting their power in the region while they have the advantage.  For thirty years, they have been engaged in a proxy war with the Islamic Republic of Iran.  Syria is to be the next battlefield, but here, there is a critical difference from what were minor skirmishes in Lebanon, Yemen, and elsewhere.  The Saudis with the aid of Qatar, and the UAE is striking at the core interests of Tehran; and they have through their tribal networks the advantage over an isolated Islamic Republic.

Tribal and kinship relations are being augmented by the infusion of the Salafi vision of Islam that is growing in the Gulf States.  Money from the Gulf States has gone into the development of religious centers to spread the fundamentalist belief.  A critical part of the ideology is to be anti-Shia.

Salafism in Saudi Arabia is promulgated by the Wahhabi School of Islam.  The Wahhabi movement began in the eighteenth century and promoted a return to the fundamentalism of the early followers of the Faith.

The Sauds incorporated the religious movement into their leadership of the tribes.  When the modern state of Saudi Arabia was formed, they were granted control of the educational system and much else in the society in exchange for the endorsement of the authoritarian rule.

When the Kingdom used its growing wealth in the 1970s to extend its interests far from the traditional territory in the battle against the atheistic Soviet Union, the Wahhabi clergy became missionaries in advancing their ideology through religious institutions to oppose the Soviets.  More than two hundred thousand jihadists were sent into Afghanistan to fight the Soviet forces and succeeded in driving them out.

There is no longer a Soviet Union to confront.  Today, the enemy is the Islamic Republic of Iran with what is described by the Wahhabis as a heretical form of Islam and its involvement in the Shia communities across the region.  For thirteen centuries, the Shia have been kept under control.  With the hand of Iran in the form of the Qud Force reaching into restless communities that number as many as one hundred and six million people in what is the heart of the Middle East, the Saudis see a desperate need to crush the foe before it has the means to pull down the privileged position of the Saud Family and the families of the other Gulf State rulers.

The war begins in Syria where we can expect that a successor government to Assad will be declared soon in the Saudi controlled tribal areas even before Assad is defeated.  The territory is likely to adopt the more fundamentalist principals of the Salafists as it serves as a stepping stone to Iran Itself.  It promises to be a bloody protracted war that will recognize no frontier and will know no limits by all of the participants.
