Nine nuclear base commanders fired from US Air Force over cheating scandal

The United States Air Force says it has taken unprecedented action by firing nine nuclear missile base commanders on Thursday amid an ongoing and exhaustive investigation surrounding allegations of cheating.
Dozens of additional employees described as junior officers at those bases will be disciplined as well, the Associated Press reported first on Thursday afternoon, and will join an ever-expanding list of Air Force personnel who have been reprimanded in recent months as part of an embarrassing scandal that has increasingly generated criticism directed at the Pentagon’s nuke program.
But although the Air Force has taken action already in recent months amid reports that missile base personnel cheated on critical military examinations, the AP says officials describe the latest round of terminations as being “unprecedented in the history of the intercontinental ballistic missile force.”
“None of the nine fired commanders was directly involved in the cheating, but each was determined to have failed in his or her leadership responsibilities,” Robert Burns wrote for the AP.
According to Burns, a defense official who spoke on condition of anonymity told the AP that Air Force investigators believe the cheating scandal started as early as November 2011 and continued for two years.
“It involved unauthorized passing of answers to exams designed to test missile launch officers’ proficiency in handling ‘emergency war orders,’ which are messages involving the targeting and launching of missiles,” Burns learned from his confidential source.
This past January, the Air Force said that 34 missile launch officers were implicated in the cheating scandal and stripped of their security clearances, though they may not have necessarily faked their way through their own exams. According to the AP’s latest however, upwards of 100 missile launch crew members from a single facility — the Malmstrom Air Force Base in the state of Montana — were at one point or another linked to the scandal.
“Some officers did it. Others apparently knew about it, and it appears that they did nothing, or at least not enough, to stop it or to report it,” Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James said at a news conference earlier this year.
Now two months later, on Thursday the Air Force reportedly took action against a number of officials linked to the scandal by investigators, including Col. Robert Stanley, the commander of the 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom.
Stanley was allowed to resign, the AP reported, but nine key commanders below him were removed from the Air Force, including the commanders of the 341st Wing’s three missile squadrons, according to Burns, “each of which is responsible for 50 Minuteman three nuclear missiles.”
“Also sacked were the commander and deputy commander of the 341st Operations Group, which oversees all three missile squadrons as well as a helicopter unit and a support squadron responsible for administering monthly proficiency tests to Malmstrom’s launch crews and evaluating their performance,” Burns claimed. Members of all three missile squadrons were implicated, he added, although no generals were formally punished.
This week’s news is only the latest to stir up the Air Force’s nuke unit, which for months now has repeatedly come under fire due to a barrage of incidents. The Pentagon removed 17 of its officers from a base in North Dakota last year following a poor inspection rating, and last October it was reported that two US missile technicians assigned with launch keys were discovered repeatedly leaving a blast door open while sleeping on base.
Soros, OSI, USaid, and Ukrainian Neo-Nazi groups, Compared To Tides Role in Canada
Dissembling
Mar 12, 2014
For those who have been paying attention to the situation in Ukraine, many people have noticed that there has been an escalation between US foreign interests and Russian interests, specifically in Crimea. Soros’ OSI groups and their network of NGO’s (which is a mirror of how things are done here in Canada/USA with Soros’ Tides Foundation) have affiliated themselves with neo-nazi groups. Sometimes you may see Tides connected affiliates whine about nazi groups and racists but it would seem their benevolent angel donor (or master) doesn’t care about racism so long as it is a useful tool for the advancement of geopolitical agenda.
In the Ukraine OSI has been reported as having paid protestors a whole of $20 american to risk their lives and participate as fodder in a pre-meditated coup d’etat of their ELECTED leader. In Canada, they cost a little more than that and need more training to get worked up to violence. Sun News conducted a poll of the blatant activity the fake paid protestors are up to and most people disapprove of it:
The situation in Ukraine is quite the foreshadowing of things to come in Canada, so long as politicians openly endorse the conduct of these people and do not speak up about what is visibly a form of open recruiting and training of subjects to engage in eco-terrorism. If anything the authorities (if they were not compromised) would have shown up and arrested the lot of them for conspiracy and high treason.
A recent article by Greg Renouf demonstrates the usual political faces who have been backing the Soros’ backed faketivist (fake paid activist) activities in Canada, also back the faketivist activities in the Ukraine. Even to the extent of allowing a group to fundraise for bullet proof vests (which are illegal here in Canada without a permit), and send them to the Ukraine to aid in the coup d’etat.
I believe the same thing is being set up for Canada as has been setup for the Ukraine. My opinion is that it doesn’t matter which side wins, the Ukrainian people lose. Foreign interests from one side (USA) or the other (Russia) have come into the Ukraine to battle it out as to which power block the Ukraine will be sacrificed to. Either way the Ukrainian people are facing a lose/lose situation.
The uprising in Ukraine didn’t happen overnight. Funds needed to be moved, people needed to be armed, and protected with bullet proof vests, and trained; this is how uprisings start and, the warning signs are all out in the open right here in Canada.
Turkey Plans False Flag Against Syria; Blocks YouTube, Twitter
Brandon Turbeville
Activist Post
Mar 27, 20014
In what appears to be the revelation of yet another attempt to instigate foreign military action on Syrian soil, a video posted to YouTube from an anonymous account allegedly provides the audio of Turkish intelligence Chief Hakan Fidan, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, and Deputy Chief of Military Staff Yasar Guler as well as other top Turkish officials discussing a possible attack on Syria.
The operation, if implemented, would have been publicly predicated on the basis of “securing the tomb of Suleyman Shah,” the grandfather of the founder of the Ottoman empire. As Reuters reports, “Ankara regards the tomb as sovereign Turkish territory under a treaty signed with France in 1921, when Syria was under French rule. About two dozen Turkish special forces soldiers permanently guard it.”
As a result, Turkish authorities have moved to block access to YouTube, describing the recording as “villainous,” and a “wretched attack” on national security. This reaction has lent even more credence to the veracity of the recordings.
Two weeks ago, Turkey publicly threatened to respond to any attack on the tomb after a confrontation between fanatical death squads ISIL and other related “rebel” groups in the area.
However, it appears that the controversy over the danger posed to Suleyman’s tomb is nothing more than a weak excuse for overt military incursion into Syria. The idea is that Turkey will be able to claim that it is taking action against “Al-Qaeda” in order to protect Turkish territory, a justification that will be readily accepted by Western audiences.
It is important to point out that the Turkish plan is actually a false flag attack, since Turkey itself has been responsible for the facilitation, direction, and organization of many of the death squads operating in Syria. Indeed, the Turkey-Syria border is so wide open to Western-backed death squads that Turkish border stations might consider installing “death squad crossing” signs to warn other travelers.
The audio recording presents Foreign Ministry Under Secretary Feridun Sinirlioglu as stating “”An operation against ISIL has international legitimacy. We will define it as al Qaeda. There are no issues on the al Qaeda framework. When it comes to the Suleyman Shah tomb, it’s about the protection of national soil.”
Reportedly, the voice of Intelligence Chief Hakan Fidan responds, “Justification can be created. The matter is to create the will.”
TIB, the Turkish telecom authority, has responded by taking an “administrative measure” against Youtube, essentially blocking the website in Turkey. This measure comes a week after Turkish authorities blocked access to Twitter.
According to Reuters, “A source in Erdogan’s office said the video sharing service was blocked as a precaution after the voice recordings created a “national security issue” and said it may lift the ban if YouTube agreed to remove the content.”
If the recordings are real, then Turkey’s attempted false flag attack is yet one more act of aggression against Syria. Turkey has, for some time, acted as a conduit for death squad terrorists into Syria.
Only four days ago, on March 24, Turkey shot down a Syrian fighter jet which Turkey claims violated its airspace. Syrian officials, however, state that it was Turkey who violated Syrian airspace in an attempt to interfere with Syrian operations against death squads near Latakia. It is notable that the Syrian jet crashed on Syrian territory, not Turkish land.
The strike against the Syrian jet was not necessarily an isolated incident as the attack took place alongside a major offensive of “rebels” who pushed across the Turkey-Syria border simultaneously.
It was also reported that Turkey fired a number of artillery and tank shells against Syria military positions.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing Turkish special forces accompanying the death squads across the borders.
As Mimi Al-Laham writes for Land Destroyer Report,
The Al Qaeda attack and takeover of the Kassab border crossing has caused up to2000 to 6000 Armenian Syrians to flee the area. Mass looting and destruction of religious sites was reported by residents (similar to criminal acts carried out in the recently liberated city of Yabroud).
Armenians are once again refugees due to the Turkish government like their ancestors who fled the Armenian Holocaust decades ago.
There has been no mention on the BBC of NATO’s open support for Al Qaeda groups. The attack comes in the backdrop of mass rallies against Turkish President Erdogan, who recently banned Twitter.
The battles in Latakia are ongoing, with the Syrian military inflicting heavy losses on Al Qaeda militants.

Over 1,500 nationalists from the Right Sector have circled Ukrainian parliament in Kiev threatening to storm it on Thursday. They demanded the resignation of the interior minister after their leader Muzychko was killed in a police operation.
Up to 2,000 members of the Right Sector, which recently was revamped into a political party, flooded the square in front of Verkhovna Rada in the Ukrainian capital on Thursday night. The radicals, who brought car tires to burn with them, were banging on the Parliament’s doors, smashing the glass parts in them.
Wearing masks and brandishing bats, they were shouting “Avakov, get out!”
The parliament building was empty except for guards, some administrative staff and reporters. All the MPs had earlier left the building through an underground tunnel, RIA Novosti reported.
The protesters were threatening to break into the parliament if their demands were not met, journalists reported from the scene. The Rada’s security in the meantime concentrated in front of the entrance to the building and prepared water cannons, urging the journalists inside not to approach the windows looking onto Constitution Square.
Several hours into the standoff activists announced the rally was over for tonight as they decided not to storm the building just yet, but reconvene tomorrow.
On Friday, Verkhovna Rada will hold an emergency session to discuss the possibility of Avakov’s resignation, one of the representatives of the Right sector told Itar-Tass. Right Sector activists have been urged to gather outside the Parliament building at 9:00 GMT.
Although the major part of the crowd has already dispersed, about a hundred people are still reportedly picketing the building .

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov is held personally responsible by the nationalists for the death of Aleksandr Muzychko, also known as Sashko Bilyi, one of the Right Sector leaders. Muzychko was declared killed in a police raid against his gang in Rovno, western Ukraine, on Tuesday. Following the death, Right Sector leaders threatened Avakov with revenge, though they did not specify exactly what they would do. Dmitry Yarosh called for the minister’s dismissal. “We’ll wait for the negotiators from the Parliament, the MPs, but we won’t settle for Avakov’s resignation – we want his tribunal,” the radicals announced through megaphones. The radicals also blame the interior minister for not putting enough effort into investigating investigate the deaths of protesters during the Maidan standoff in January and February.

The leader of the UDAR party and former boxing champ, Vitaly Klitschko, went out to the negotiate with the Right Sector in front of the Rada.
Klitschko tried to persuade the radicals to give up the idea of storming the parliament building as “it will destabilize the current situation in Ukraine. The parliament building is empty, because the deputies have already left.”

Little City, Big Heart: Middleton, ID Unanimously Bans NDAA Indefinite Detention
by Dan Johnson
P.A.N.D.A. People Against The NDAA
Mar 26, 2014
MIDDLETON, ID – In a unanimous vote of 4-0, the Middleton, Idaho city council banned the application of the NDAA and the laws of war within their city. With the passage of the Middleton resolution, 5 cities have now stood for the Constitutional rights of their people.
What’s unique about this win though, is the sincerity and quick action of the council. Middleton is a little city, with a big heart.
The 2012 NDAA, or National Defense Authorization Act, contains two provisions, sections 1021 and 1022, which violate over 14 provisions of the U.S. Constitution. These sections, known as the detention provisions, allow for the indefinite military detention of any person, including an American citizen, without charge or trial. Further, they allow for the extrajudicial execution, torture, and rendition of any person held in military custody, as well as the lockdown of American cities under military control.
Middleton joins Albany, NY, Webster and Oxford, MA, Gem County, and Emmett, ID in declaring their city is not a battlefield, not subject to the laws of war and no person will:
“arrest or capture any person in Middleton, or citizen of Middleton within the United States, with the intent of “detention under the law of war,” or
actually subject a person in Middleton to “disposition under the law of war,” or
subject any person to targeted killing in Middleton, or citizen of Middleton within the United States”

PANDA Idaho’s Jason Casella noted:
“Panda Idaho would like to congratulate the great people of Middleton who have now become the second city in Idaho to block indefinite detention and laws of war. They have elected a fine group to represent them. I have been to a lot of city council meetings and have never seen one so efficient and detail oriented. The people applaud Middleton’s council for honoring their oath and doing so with no reservations.”
As Jason said, the city council of Middleton deserves some special recognition. In most cities and counties, including all of the above, the NDAA Resistance had to apply massive pressure to get anything passed.
In Middleton, it was different. Thanks to the behind-the scenes work of Councilor Lenny Riccio, when the Resistance presented the Restoring Constitutional Governance Resolution for their consideration, the council did not hesitate. They understood their oaths, acting from their hearts. Without a word, and with only three citizens in the chambers asking them to defend the rights of their people, the council did not hesitate.
Acting on one accord, after less than 10 minutes of discussion, the Middleton City Council passed the RCGR unanimously on Wednesday.
PLEASE take the time with us to thank one of the city council members or mayor of Middleton for their relentless dedication to liberty:

Unknown Snipers Once Again Stir Up Violence … This Time In Crimea
by Washington’s Blog
Global Research
Mar 19, 2014
After a Ukranian soldier at a base in Crimea was killed, Ukraine announced that the murder was a “war crime”, and that Ukranians could use live fire to protect themselves.
Fair enough.
But no one knows who actually pulled the trigger. The Independent reports:
However, there were indications that it was the separatist Crimean government’s recently created “Self Defence Forces” who had actually carried out the fatal attack. Local officials, meanwhile, claimed that “fascist snipers” had fired the first shot from a residential building and one of the injured was one of the defence force members.
***
Local authorities presented a different version of what had taken place. A police officer said: “There were snipers who were using peoples’ homes to start shooting, that was the provocation. One of those injured was from the Self Defence Forces.”
Associated Press confirms:
A Ukrainian serviceman and a member of a local self-defense brigade were killed by gunfire in Crimea …
This is very similar to the deployment of snipers during the Ukranian protests that toppled the regime: with each side blaming the other. Update.
The Western press is beating the war drums over the incident. But – given that that snipers are a common form of false flag terrorism – shouldn’t we wait to find out who was really behind the violence?
