Today on Press For Truth TV we are joined by Jakub Markiewicz, a young aspiring journalist who was arrested by the RCMP for taking their photo and for photographing mall security guards during an arrest. This rude awakening to the Canadian police state has not detoured Jakub from wanting to document news worthy events. A flash mob is being organized in Vancouver as an act of civil disobedience which is aimed at letting the authorities know that when you pick on the free press, you can expect a response.

Livestream Storm Cam – “Sandycam” is located on top of Livestream’s World Headquarters in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York City. The camera is mounted on the roof facing south towards the Financial District. Any shaking of the image is caused by high winds as the camera is mounted outside.

From the lowest lying areas of the New Jersey shoreline, where residents were already being encouraged to leave, to the state’s northern highlands, where sandbags were being filled and cars moved into car parks on higher ground, New Jersey began preparing in earnest for Hurricane Sandy on Monday. Along the boardwalk at Asbury Park in New Jersey, a few hardy souls ventured out to watch the building fury of Hurricane Sandy.
Businesses were boarded up and sandbags in place as the storm lashed the coastline. Even so, residents of nearby towns walked out into the face of the storm to see for themselves.

With forecasters expecting that the New York area could get the worst of the super storm moving its way towards the country, property owners boarded up their homes and many were not leaving anything to chance and evacuated their families out of the city centre on Sunday. Forecasters warn the mega storm can wreak havoc over 800 miles (1,300 kilometres) from the East Coast to the Great Lakes.
