20:41 01/10/2012 UNITED NATIONS, October 1 (RIA Novosti) – Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem on Monday called on the opposition to come to the negotiating table, adding that it was critical for neighboring countries to end their support for the opposition.
“The success of any international efforts in Syria requires – in addition to the Syrian government’s obligations – obligations from states that are supporting the [rebel] armed groups in my country,” he told the 67th Session of the UN General Assembly.
He mentioned countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Libya, which Syria accuses of supplying arms and funding, and training and sheltering “terrorist groups.”
“I am inviting the national opposition to work together to stop the Syrian bloodshed,” Moallem said.

Surreal: Clinton Pledges $45 Million in Aid to Al Qaeda in Syria
US inundates terrorist legions with cash & support after regional embassy attacks and death of own ambassador.

September 28, 2012 – US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced that the US would be providing an additional $45 million in “non-lethal aid” to the “opposition” in Syria, reported the Associated Press. The Western press chose their words carefully, ensuring that the term “civilian opposition” was repeatedly used to describe the armed terrorist forces attempting to violently overthrow the Syrian government.

Traditionally, this is known as “foreign invasion.” US aid is going to foreign terrorists, not a “civilian opposition.”
In reality, the “opposition” in Syria constitutes foreign terrorist legions flowing across Syria’s borders, and in particular, staging and crossing over from NATO-member Turkey. In fact, it was recently admitted by the terrorist legions themselves that their headquarters has been located within Turkish territory for the duration of the conflict. In a recent France 24 article titled, “Free Syrian Army move HQ from Turkey to Syria,” armed militants claimed they had only just recently “moved from Turkey to within Syria.”
Clinton’s Aid is Going to Al Qaeda, Not a “Civilian Opposition.”
While the Western media attempts to portray heavily armed foreign terrorists as “Syria’s civilian opposition,” it has been revealed that entire brigades are led by Libyan terrorists drawn from the ranks of the US State Department (#29), UK Home Office (page 5, .pdf), and UN-listed terror organization, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG).
The presence of LIFG in Syria was first announced by the Western press in November of 2011 when the Telegraph in their article, “Leading Libyan Islamist met Free Syrian Army opposition group,” would report:
Abdulhakim Belhadj, head of the Tripoli Military Council and the former leader of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, “met with Free Syrian Army leaders in Istanbul and on the border with Turkey,” said a military official working with Mr Belhadj. “Mustafa Abdul Jalil (the interim Libyan president) sent him there.”

Australian Government ‘Finds’ Extra $338bn Assets (But No Unicorns Yet)

In what could easily be a Friday Humor post, Reuters reports that the Aussie government’s statisticians, taking a page out of the German’s ‘creative’ accounting book, have found an additional $338bn of assets for the nation. ‘Cheers’ all around as the Australian Bureau of Statistics (and Lies) revised household wealth up by AUD14,380 for every one of the country’s 22.6 million people – as new estimates of unlisted shares and other equity pushed the nation’s total financial assets to AUD3.1tn (compared to an originally reported AUD2.77tn. As the miners from down-under continue to struggle against a fading China, this miraculous ‘find’ has dropped the ratio of debt to liquid assets from a worrisome 170.1% to a meager 129.1%. Rumors are circulating that the ABS is now looking for the ark of the covenant, the philosopher’s stone, and Shangri-La.

Australians are suddenly a whole lot better off after the government statistician “found” A$325 billion ($338 billion) in share assets previously unrecognised.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics on Thursday released its latest report on household assets which included massive upward revisions to estimates for equity holdings. Total financial assets were now put at A$3.1 trillion at the end of March, compared to the originally reported A$2.77 trillion.
The revision is worth roughly A$14,380 for every one of the country’s 22.6 million people.
“This issue incorporates new estimates for households holding of unlisted shares and other equity in other private non financial corporations,” the statistician drily noted.
The value of such equity is now put at A$383 billion at the end of March, compared to the original A$91 billion.
“The Bureau of Statistics has effectively ‘found’ A$325 billion in household wealth,” said Craig James, chief economist at CommSec.
Total financial assets also rose further in the second quarter to stand at A$3.11 trillion by the end of June, up A$76 billion on the same period last year.
No less than A$702 billion of that was held in bank deposits. Australian banks have been competing fiercely for deposits to reduce their dependence on offshore funding, while households have been keen to save more in the wake of the global financial crisis.
Since the end of 2007 the amount of money stashed in bank deposits has climbed by A$260 billion, or almost 60 percent.

The upward revisions to wealth also mean households do not look quite as stretched when compared to their debts.
The ABS now estimates the ratio of debt to liquid assets was 129.1 percent in March, well down on the original estimate of 170.1 percent.
There have been long-standing concerns that the high debt levels of Australian households left them vulnerable to an economic shock such as a sharp rise in the, currently low, 5.1 percent unemployment rate.

Judge John Rooke the Associate Chief Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench in Canada has promised to destroy the “Free Man on the Land Movement. In a newly released court decision John Rooke analyzes the movement, which he refers to as “organized pseudolegal commercial argument” or OPCA litigants.
His 185-page analysis of their arguments was posted on the Alberta Justice court website on Thursday. This same judge was in the news not too long ago when he called a rape victim “stupid”during the sentencing of the man who raped her. He then went ahead and only sentenced the rapist to 3 1/2 years in prison.The Free Man on the Land movement consists of a growing number of people who are beginning to turn the rhetoric and legalese of the state against itself. According to the nationalistic folklore put forward by the courts, people are only ruled because they consent to being ruled, so many of these people are withdrawing their consent from the system.
As much of a great concept as this as, and as much as everyone should be encouraged to pursue this lifestyle, there is one fatal flaw in this approach that must be remembered. That flaw is that the whole system is a fraud to begin with, and the system will bend to the whims of authority regardless of what has been written into law previously. It is this flaw, that may begin to cause complications for those in Canada who have declared their Independence.
