Qatari princess says Doha’s support for Syria militants ‘scandalous’
Friends of Syria
May 25, 2013
The daughter of Qatari ruler Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani has censured Doha’s support for the militants in Syria.
In a message she posted on Twitter, Sheikha Hind bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani stated that the backing of the militants was a ‘scandal in the history of Qatar.’
She also denounced the atrocities committed by the militants and said the armed groups had committed crimes against the Syrian people – an apparent reference to a gruesome video recently published on the Internet.
The video shows a cannibal militant in Syria cutting an organ of a Syrian soldier out of his chest and biting into it.
The Qatari princess also slammed the intervention of militants from Saudi Arabia in Syria and their ‘execution of Syrian citizens.’
Turmoil has gripped Syria since March 2011, and many people, including large numbers of Syrian security forces, have been killed in the unrest.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said on May 18 that militants from 29 different countries were fighting against the government in different parts of the country.
In January, Prince Turki al-Faisal, former Saudi spy chief, called for sending heavy weaponry to the militants in Syria.

At least 28 people were killed and 250 wounded in weeklong clashes between Sunni and Alawite Muslims in Tripoli, Lebanon, according to security officials. The violence is another sign of the Syrian conflict spilling over to Lebanon.
Last night, four Sunnis and one Alawite died in clashes, the Daily Star reported. The casualties raised this week’s death toll to 28.
Fierce fighting has raged in Tripoli since last Sunday, with assailants firing rocket-propelled grenades, mortars and machine guns. The violence is seen as a spillover from the recently intensified fighting between rebels and government forces in Qusayr, Syria, near the border with Lebanon.
Most of the clashes in Tripoli were between residents of the Sunni-majority Bab el-Tebbaneh district and the Alawite-majority Jabal Mohsen district. A third party in the conflict is the Lebanese Army, which has so far failed to quell the unrest.
Although the clashes subsided in the morning, the area is still reportedly controlled by snipers.
The week-long conflict brought life to a halt in Tripoli, home to 500,000 residents, with schools and shops closed because of the violence.
This is not the first time Tripoli has witnessed an outbreak of violence between Sunnis supporting the Syrian rebels and pro-regime Alawites, the religious branch of Shia Islam to which Syrian President Bashar Assad belongs. The Lebanese Army deployed in the city last October to broker a ceasefire.

Your Vote is Not Secret: Government Using SmartPhone Barcodes to Trace Ballot to Voter
by Susanne Posel

August 23, 2012
In Chaffee County, Colorado, the voter ballots for the 2012 Republican Primary election contain a smartphone data matrix barcode that ties the voter to the ballot. Both the ballot number and data matrix are on the ballot stub.
Using a smartphone and a free downloadable program called Barcode Director , the data matrix can be scanned and will produce a corresponding number to the one found on the ballot. The, with access to the county records through open-record laws, the ballot can be traced to the individual who voted by cross referencing the corresponding county.
Since the ballots containing the data matrix barcode are filed with the Chaffee County clerk, the information is obtainable by anyone – including campaign officials who might be interested in knowing who voted for which candidate.
The Colorado State Constitution says that ballots cannot have markings that would indicate the voter’s identity printed on the ballot and/or provide that the ballot be able to be traced back to the voter. However, that is exactly what the data matrix barcodes do.
Smartphone apps for the Obama For America and Mitt’s VP are data mining with the use of software. The app user’s name, address, home phone number, and Facebook information is given over during the account process and turned over by the app software. GPS location and access to the phone’s camera, along with audio recording abilities are accessed as well. The software can also extract the smartphone’s contact numbers, call logs and SD Card contents.
According to Joyce Reno, Chaffee County clerk, the reason the ballots contain a data matrix barcode is to prevent double voting and forgery.
The Election Protection Smartphone App has made data mining easier with direct access to “information and resources” just in time for the 2012 elections. With the app, a user can verify:
• Where the voter registered
• Where they voted
• Key rules and regulations for their state
• What type of machine the voter used
The ballot machines being used in Chaffee County are manufactured by Hart Intercivic Systems .

• Neil Tuch, managing director, a former Goldman Sachs employee who worked in Mergers and Acquisitions
• Jeff Bohl, principal capital, former JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Wells Fargo employee in mortgage-backed securities, M&A transactions and consultant for small businesses
• Amanda Kalin, associate capital, former private equity and investor of banking capital for CitiGroup Banking
Taylor v. Pile , a 1964 Colorado court case ruled that: “An election wherein ballots are numbered in such a manner that the vote of any person thereafter may be determined by comparison with the number on the ballot and poll registration book is contrary to constitutional and statutory guarantee of a secret ballot and results in a void election.”
Confirmed: Canada 2011 polls fraudulent

The Canadian Federal Court has confirmed that the country’s 2011 federal election, which led to the victory of Stephen Harper’s government, was fraudulent.
The court emphasized in a Thursday ruling that it has found in no uncertain terms that widespread election fraud took place during the vote.
The ruling also stated that “there was an orchestrated effort to suppress votes during the 2011 election campaign by a person with access to the [Conservative Party’s] CIMS database.”
Accordingly, the Council of Canadians has called on the Conservative Party to investigate the issue. It says anything less at this point would be a cover-up on behalf of the Conservatives.
The Council of Canadians says that the non-cooperation, obstructionism, and attempts to disrupt the Federal Court case by the CIMS makes it look like Prime Minister Harper has something to conceal.
Garry Neil, Executive Director of the Council of Canadians said “This Federal Court decision is a major indictment of the Conservative Party of Canada.”
“Either senior leaders of the Conservative Party were directly involved in election fraud or they were astoundingly negligent in securing access to their voter database. Illegal or incompetent–just like in the Senate scandal.”

The Harper government keeps acting out of control and keeps getting caught red handed in unlawful activities. There are many reasons to oppose the Harper government and the above article is just another example of how far out of control this government really is.

Facebook Censors Pictures of Children Rallying Against GMOs During Global March Against Monsanto
In one of the most devastating acts of destruction of its own credibility, Facebook engaged in yet more censorship of Free Speech with the suspending of an account that posted a photo of children rallying against Monsanto during today’s global March Against Monsanto.

Natural News

The picture shows two children of Natural News reader Andrea Lalama. They are carrying hand-drawn signs that read:
“ORGANIC FOOD It’s My Medicine – Label GMOs – Say NO to GMO”
and
“BIOPESTICIDES = AUTISM – SAY NO TO GMO”
After this picture was shared on Facebook by Natural News, Andrea’s account was immediately suspended. Facebook displayed a message on her account which read (see screen capture, below):
“FACEBOOK: You have been restricted from Interacting With Pages until Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 6:47pm.”At this point, Andrea can only re-post other people’s content but is disallowed from posting her own content. Why? Because children with signs are obviously very, very dangerous to the establishment.
See the photo of two children that Facebook says is “abusive”
Here’s the photo of the children that caused Facebook to suspend her account:

And here’s the account suspension notice screen capture:

Here’s a link to Andrea’s Facebook page, which remains suspended:

Another woman, Georgia Gallucci, was also censored by Facebook
As the following screen capture shows, another FB user named Georgia Gallucci also had her account suspended by Facebook after “reposting a friend’s photo from the Monsanto March.”

Yet another account called “Reversing Autism” was also suspended by Facebook for posting Monsanto march photos. The following screen capture shows the Reversing Autism account being labeled by Facebook as posting content that is “abusive.”

Astonishingly, Facebook believes that a corporation growing corn engineered to contain a deadly poison is not abusive, but talking about it IS abusive!
Facebook previously censored Natural News for posting a quote from Gandhi
Remember, Facebook previously censored a Gandhi quote infographic, claiming it violated its “community guidelines.” Facebook hit Natural News with a “final warning” and threatening to permanently delete the Natural News account.
Facebook has also been caught in the outrageous abuse of Free Speech through the censorship of people who have all sorts of non-mainstream views, including people who believe in the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution.
So this Facebook censorship is nothing new, and in light of recent revelations that the U.S. government engaged in an outrageous abuse of power to threaten, intimidate and silence certain groups through the IRS, many people are now questioning whether Facebook actually is part of the government surveillance grid that intentionally suppresses information the government doesn’t want to be seen.

An Incredible Superfood: The Many Benefits of Coconut Oil
by Elizabeth Renter
Natural Society
May 5, 2013
If you haven’t noticed lately, the western world is on a bit of a coconut oil kick. It’s in all the popular blogs—from nutrition to hair care—and it’s no longer difficult to find a few different varieties of the oil in normal grocery stores. This is a good thing. Coconut oil should have never been demonized, as it was, and deserves a top spot in the natural health world.
Vilified Coconut Oil
Several decades ago, coconut oil was vilified. It was made to look like the “bad guy” in comparison with its competitors from the corn and soy industries. They were successful in their campaign to squash the coconut oil competition by highlighting it’s saturated fat content and tying that to heart disease. Now, however, coconut oil and its medium chain triglycerides (saturated fats) are back on top and being recognized for numerous health benefits.
The health benefits of coconut oil are amazing; the oil possesses antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-bacterial, and antioxidant properties. The lauric, capric and caprylic acids within the oil are credited with many of these benefits. It’s the lauric acid, for instance, that is converted into monolaurin which in in turn fights the bugs associated with herpes, giardia, listeria, influenza, and even HIV.
