City Warns of Cell Phone Link to Cancer [video included]

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – The city of Pembroke Pines wants its residents to know that cell phones could be dangerous and linked to cancer. A newly-passed resolution was inspired by a resident who believes his brain tumor was caused by his mobile device.

“A lot of scientific data has to be done with it and the ordinance is kind of generic but it makes people aware,” said Pines mayor Frank Ortis.

Pines resident Jimmy Gonzalez had tumors removed in his brain above his left ear, his left hand, and near his hip. All places where he said his phone was pressed for long periods of time.

“I kept getting headaches,” Gonzalez said. “One day I realized I hold my cell phone with the same hand, up against this ear and when I was done, I would put it in to these pockets.”

Gonzalez spoke before the Pines City commission last month to encourage them to consider the resolution, which passed unanimously.

Unlike an ordinance, the resolution does not impose rules nor issues fines for non-compliance.

Part of the resolution encourages people to send texts or emails if possible, and asks people to keep phones at least an inch from their body.

“I think that could be good,” said one Pines resident Monday night.

But the idea of a city asking residents to behave a certain way did not sit well with everyone.

“I think that’s crossing the line,” said resident Shelly Grocher.

Ortis said the city can’t legislate human behavior, but encourages everyone to be informed.

In May, the World Health Organization reported that there could be a risk of cancer due to cell phone use.

“We worry about all aspects of life in our great city,” Ortis said.

MUST SEE — Morgellons Syndrome And What You Can Do About It

by Amir Alwani
PotentNews.com
November 29, 2012

As many of us now know, a vast amount of airplanes are currently spraying most of the Earth’s population with aluminum, barium, strontium, etc.  Less discussed components of the spray programs include lab-created synthetic life-forms and other biological materials such as red blood cells, fungus, and self-replicating nano-fibers.  Massive and diverse geo-engineering operations are indeed occurring.  Moreover, a peculiar syndrome called Morgellons has emerged and has now been linked to these eugenics/transhumanist operations.

While this is alarming, humanity should at some point face the ugly details of this dilemma.  This is an agenda partly involving a nano-technology infestation in our bodies.  Potent News Blast #10 seeks to shed some light on this often neglected issue:

(video: All audio and videos contained in this PN Blast are linked at the bottom.)

What You Can Do About It

As creepy as all this is, there is room for hope.

August 17-19 of 2012 represented the coming together of some of the most prominent chemtrail researchers at a historic conference and fundraiser event in L.A., California titled Consciousness Beyond Chemtrails.  The event was also the premier of the documentary film Why In The World Are They Spraying? and even well known public figures like Cynthia McKinney and Rosanne Bar spoke at the conference to show their support.  DVDs of the fundraiser are still available and all proceeds apparently go to Morgellons research, namely Morgellons Research Group and Carnicom Institute.

A recent Carnicom Institute newsletter has also mentioned that there currently is a petition on the White House official website asking the Obama Administration to honestly investigate Geo-Engineering, HAARP & Chemtrails.  Since its inception 2 weeks ago, it has accumulated over 4000 signatures (with the goal being 25,000 by Dec. 14, 2012).

[UPDATE: Here’s a new petition which calls on Congress to put a stop to the secretive and deadly geo-engineering program(s).]

The general increase in awareness on this subject is refreshing.  Even as far back as two years ago chemtrail protests were happening in places like the UK and Italy.  Now similar chemtrail rallies have popped up in places like Greece and New Zealand.  The movement is gaining ground.

But what can be done about chemtrails and Morgellons to yield immediate effects for our bodies here and now?  To answer that question I’ve included some very instructive videos that summarize Gwen Scott’s excellent dietary suggestions and also Ken Rohla’s fascinating research into orgonite.

(optional: part 2)

[UPDATE:  It has become apparent that there is some controversy regarding ingestion of colloidal silver vs only using it topically.  I am seeing many arguments for and against ingestion.  Personally, I err on the side of caution and so I only use it topically.]

10 Ways to use your dehydrator and store food for long-term storage

by Alexandra Du Toit, TRUE Earth Mama
Natural News
November 24, 2012

(NaturalNews) Food Dehydrators are so awesome to have in your kitchen. There are so many healthy treats you can make for your family that normally would be pricey in a store or they contain non-organic foods with preservatives. The dehydrator allows the food to retain 100 percent of its nutritional value of vitamins, enzymes and nutrients. Instead of letting food go to waste, dehydrate and store. Dried foods can be stored in air-tight containers for long-term storage.

1. Dried fruit ~ Simply slice and dehydrate fruits such as apples, bananas, mangos, pineapples, raisins.

2. Dried vegetables ~ Slice and dehydrate your veggies and turn them into chips such as kale chips, carrot chips, and green beans.

3. Crispy nuts and seeds ~ First, soak the nuts or seeds until you see a sprout growing. This increases the nutritional value of the seeds and nuts and they often taste better. Ex. Sprouted sunflower seeds, walnuts, sprouted almonds, etc.

4. Sprouted flour ~ Make your very own sprouted flour by sprouting grain kernels and dehydrating them prior to being ground into flour.

5. Jerky/South African Biltong ~ Slice the meat to your liking and place on trays. If using ground meat, It is recommended to use non-stick sheets or unbleached parchment paper. You can also make jerky out of tofu and even Kombucha SCOBYs.

6. Fruit leather ~ It is recommended to use some sort of non-stick sheet to make removing the fruit leather easier. Simply spread pureed fruit onto sheets on the dehydrator tray.

7. Granola ~ First soak and sprout the granola to raise its nutritional value and then dehydrate. You can use any seed or nut like almonds, walnuts, pine nuts, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds,

8. Tempeh ~ Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian food made from fermented soybeans which binds the soy beans into a cake-like form. It is a good source of protein, fiber and vitamins.

9. Natto ~ Natto is a traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans. It is a rich source of protein, vitamin K and beneficial bacteria. It must be fermented at 100 degrees Fahrenheit for 22-24 hours.

10. Pemmican ~ Pemmican is a traditional food often made by Native Americans. It normally consists of ground meat, animal fat, dried fruit and salt.

Aspartame-Cancer Link Exposed: Increasing Your Cancer Risk

by Elizabeth Renter
Natural Society
November 24, 2012

There have been several studies over the years that established a link between aspartame consumption and cancer risk. But, these studies were frequently criticized as being too small, only capturing a short period of time, and otherwise not living up to strict scientific standards. A new study, however, addresses these concerns and substantiates what the previous ones already said: that aspartame in diet soda can increase your risk of certain types of cancer, exponentially. It seems the aspartame-cancer link has been exposed…again.

The Aspartame-Cancer Link

Scientists looked at data from the Nurses’ Health Study and the Health Professionals Follow-Up Study for a period of 22 years, including over 77,000 female study subjects and nearly 48,000 males. In all, the giant study looked at “2,278,396 person-years of data”, the most of all previous aspartame studies.

Study participants were asked about their diets every two years. In prior studies, questions about aspartame were only asked once, opening them up to error and criticism. What this study found, however, is frightening.

One can of diet soda each day can increase leukemia risk in men and women by 42 percent, increase multiple myeloma risk in men by 102 percent, and increase the risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma by 31 percent in men.

The results are frightening, but not surprising. Though previous research was criticized for not being scientifically sound—the findings were similar. Another study focusing on the aspartame-cancer link found that of 48 rats experimented on, up to 67% of all female rats developed tumors roughly the size of golf balls or larger. The male population also suffered, with 21% of the males developing similar cancerous growths.

What’s possibly even more concerning is that aspartame is created using genetically modified bacteria. Revealing how aspartame is made, an article from The Independent reports that both a Monsanto source and a Monsanto spokesperson admits that aspartame creation process did in fact involve genetically modified bacteria.

“We have two strains of bacteria – one is traditionally modified and one is genetically modified,” said the source. “It’s got a modified enzyme. It has one amino acid different.”

Stay Away

Although there are other sources of aspartame, diet soda remains the most popular. If you were ever wondering, ‘is diet soda bad for you‘, the answer is a sound ‘yes’. In the United States, we consume an estimated 5,250 tons of aspartame each year, of which 86% is in the form of diet sodas.

Recognizing the dangers of diet soda, many people limit themselves to just one can each day. But this latest research shows that one can is enough to do significant damage. And, switching back to a sugared soda isn’t any better—researchers found men drinking one or more regular sodas saw a 66% increase in non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

What’s the solution? Quit drinking soda. If you’re in it for the caffeine, try green tea and it’s many benefits or even coffee. If you prefer cold and refreshing, have iced tea.

Changing your habits takes motivation and dedication (follow-thru). This research showing the aspartame-cancer link yet again should provide the motivation, but it’s up to you to take steps towards reclaiming your health.

Marijuana Legalization Bills Coming to New England

Activist Post
November 21, 2012

by Phillip Smith
Stop The Drug War

In the wake of this month’s marijuana legalization victories in Colorado and Washington, legislators in New England are ramping up efforts to be the next state to legalize. Solons in Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont have all signaled they will be filing legalization bills next year.

”Last week, Washington and Colorado replaced their states’ prohibitions on marijuana with a system of regulation and taxation,” said Robert Capecchi, a legislative analyst with the Marijuana Policy Project, which organized a press conference with legislators last week.

”Both measures passed with roughly 55% voting in favor,” Capecchi noted. ”Gallup found 50% support for making marijuana legal last year, and that support has risen over the years. We are passing the tipping point when it comes to this issue. Unfortunately, lawmakers have traditionally been behind public opinion when it comes to marijuana policy reform. With these thoughtful legislators in at least four states planning on introducing sensible proposals to remove criminal penalties and regulate marijuana in their states, it’s clear that ending marijuana prohibition is gaining momentum.”

At the press conference, Rhode Island state Rep. Edith Ajello (D-Providence), who introduced legalization bills in 2010 and 2011, said she would do so again. ”Our prohibition has failed,” she said. “I think legalizing and taxing it, just as we did to alcohol, is the way to do it.”

Maine state Rep. Diane Russell (D-Portland) said she, too, will reintroduce a marijuana legalization bill, LD 1453, in her state. “The people are far ahead of the politicians on this,” Russell said. “Just in the past few weeks we’ve seen the culture shift dramatically.”

Legislators in Vermont and Massachusetts have also signaled they will be filing marijuana legalization bills next year. The legislative process is frustratingly slow, often taking several years to get a measure through, but in the wake of the Colorado and Washington votes, we could see a sudden collapse in support for pot prohibition, even at the state house.
