DMT Use Skyrockets Among American Users

Disinfonaut DMT tales welcome in the comments! Addiction and recovery site The Fix takes an interest because “Despite powerful hallucinogenic effects and intense vomiting among users, DMT has also been seen as an alternative treatment for addiction”:
DMT, a powerful hallucinogenic compound used in religious rituals among Amazon tribes, has now become a popular recreational drug among U.S. residents.
According to recent reports by the Global Drug Survey and the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, the number of people in the U.S. who have used DMT in some form has risen every year since 2006, with over a million users reported in 2012. The drug is a key component in ayahuasca brew, a combination of two plants grown in South America that has been used as a medicinal and religious aid for tribal peoples in the region for countless years.
One of the plants in the brew, Psychotria viridis, contains dimethyltryptamine, or DMT, which is a common element in many plants and even the human body itself, which neutralizes the potency of the drug. However, when combined with Banisteriopsis caapi, which prevents the body from warding off the drug, the brew – known as yage to Beat literature aficionados who were introduced to it in Allen Ginsberg and William Burroughs’ The Yage Letters (1963) – produces intense and long-lasting hallucinations that users profiled in the Global Drug Survey have cited as stronger than ketamine or LSD. Physical reaction to the drug is also often ferocious, with violent vomiting and gastrointestinal distress among the immediate symptoms.
Despite these issues, ayahuasca has cited by independent scientists and researchers as an effective alternative treatment for addiction, due in part to its ability to raise the levels of serotonin transporters, which regulate mood. Its efficacy in this regard has been hampered by the U.S. Controlled Substances Act, which lists dimethltryptamine as a Schedule 1 drug alongside LSD, marijuana, MDMA, and GHB…

Why Prepping For A January Collapse Is The Smart Move
by James Smith
Activist Post
Dec 6, 2013
Imagine that it is late August, and the storm clouds have been hanging around for days.
The wind has been blowing, giving you the indication – this storm is going to be a Category 5 hurricane. Truly one for the record books.
Are you prepared?
And then the rain drops begin.
As most people in hurricane country will tell you, you prepare for bad weather months in advance. Weeks if you must, but you need to take action as soon as possible.
But bad weather is a disaster that is “in your face”. You can’t escape it.
However, the disaster that is looming of all of America is subtle one. And will have far-reaching consequences for those that don’t prepare. Renown technical analyst Tom DeMark has discovered that the market activity prior to the 1929 Stock Market crash is incredibly similar to the Stock Market of today.
His calculations suggest that the market will crash on or around 14 January 2014. And this is one storm you can’t fully prepare for, but you can take some action.
His calculations are not the only ones out there.
Stan Harley, a former Navy pilot and author of the Harley Market Letter, figures that January 10th will mark the top of the market, before it plunges into darkness.
Ed Carlson, the current living expert on the works of the late George Lindsay, has calculated the first half of January is the likely drop date.
For years, the signs have been there like rain drops hitting a tin roof. The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) has been abysmally low. Unemployment and inflation numbers have been massaged and reworked to tell the American taxpayers lie after lie. Stock prices have been grossly inflated without any form of justification, and companies have been buying their own stock in order to prop up share prices.
VIDEO — 12/15/2013 — ☢ ELEVATED LEVELS of Radiation ☢ 76.9CPM in the Snow – St. Louis, Missouri (2nd test)
Dutchsinse
Dec 15, 2013
I can legitimately say, don’t eat the snow.
Alert level is 100CPM. Today we are at 76.9CPM and 74.2CPM, plus a steady return on the CDV (civil defense) beta counter.
See Test 1 here: 81.4CPM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFIioK…
_______
This means small particles of radioactive material are indeed coming down in the precipitation. Past tests show around 30CPM in the same spot on a nice day with no precipitation.
Several past snow storms have produced similar results.. from 80CPM to 110CPM !! Last year in 2012, did multiple tests of the snow showing alert levels were reached last year.
See ALL my previous video tests at this location ( and other areas around the United States) here:
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=…
_______
Today’s tests:
Test 2 of 2
Performed two 10 minute counts, using two inspector alert geiger counters , and one CDV counter — 830am central time , 12/14/2013 , 1/4 inch from source.
Results :
2nd count :
76.9 CPM (769 total) over the course of 10 minutes on one counter … 74.2 CPM (742 total) on the second counter.
Alert level is normally at 100CPM (1000 total).
Thus we are reaching higher and higher compared to 2011 and 2012 levels… Normal “background” count returns approximaely 20-40CPM level.

I have assembled radiation links from around the world to use here, plus two good charts to show exposure level limits:

Monsanto Marijuana Initiative Grows in Uruguay?
The Daily Bell
Dec. 13, 2013
Uruguay becomes first nation to legalise marijuana trade … The Uruguayan government hopes legalising the sale of marijuana will tackle drug cartels … Uruguay’s cannabis bill reflects liberal past … Uruguay has become the first country in the world to make it legal to grow, sell and consume marijuana. After nearly 12 hours of debate, senators gave the government-sponsored bill their historic final approval. The law allowing registered Uruguayans over 18 to buy up to 40g (1,4oz) of the drug a month is not expected to come into force before April. The government hopes it will help tackle drug cartels, but critics say it will expose more people to drugs. – BBC
Dominant Social Theme: This is great. Uruguay strikes a blow against prohibition.
Free-Market Analysis: Are considerations regarding Monsanto’s business progress in South America behind the legalization of marijuana in Uruguay?
George Soros was a significant supporter of marijuana legalization in Uruguay, and Soros is reportedly also a big Monsanto shareholder. Here, from a recent Guardian article, published just before the bill passed:
Rich countries debating legalisation of cannabis are also watching the bill, which philanthropist George Soros has supported as an “experiment” that could provide an alternative to the failed US-led policies of the long “war on drugs”.
