Today April 11th 2014 @ 11:00 marked the 48 hour deadlines which the illegal and criminal Junta in Kiev had given as the ultimatum for the break-away republics in Eastern Ukraine to give up and surrender control of vital government buildings.
Today marked a critical juncture in the unfolding Ukraine-Russia scenario.
Credible reports from RT and other confirmed sources now report that the pro-NATO “Liberal-Fascist” Kiev Junta has been unable to control its own military, police, and special force ‘Alpha’.

“Thus, the troops refused to obey the Kiev authorities as they consider their actions illegal. The decision was taken at a meeting of law enforcement officials in Donetsk and Lugansk. It was a response to the demands of the first vice-premier of Ukraine Vitaly Yarema and Acting Secretary of the National Security and Defense Andrei Parubiya use force.
Recall that the protesters continue to hold under the control of the regional state administration building in Donetsk and the Security Service of Ukraine in Lugansk.
Today at 11:00 (12:00 MSK) expired 48 hours that acting Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov took eastern areas “for calm.” He demanded that local residents to vacate the building administrations Lugansk, Donetsk and Kharkov. Otherwise Avakov promised to employ force against them.”

This was a strong possibility – outlined by Joaquin Flores in a series of video interviews with journalist Maurice Herman. Flores predicted yesterday (link below) that today’s events would be a test of mettle, and that either the Kiev Junta would be unable to mobilize ‘its own’ forces or American-Israeli mercenaries would be brought in to perform death-squad type detail work, and finally, that there could be a backroom deal reached.
These were explained in greater detail in the analysis of yesterday and also of last week, titled “IMF Seals Ukraine’s Implosion“, “Tomorrow WWIII Will Escalate or Not“, and others posted to this site.
Indeed, this scenario played out as Ukraine Junta was rebuffed by its own command, Ukraine military refused orders.
‘A behind the scenes deal’ – This may have been communicated very much publicly. Quite publicly indeed yesterday “Putin Warns Europe of Gas Shortages over Ukraine Debt” .
Forecasted was the possibility that a behind the scenes deal would be made, and/or that captains of Ukraine security and military would simply stand down or even side with the break-away republics in the east.
These scenarios are not either/or and rather likely involve a number of these occurring simultaneously. A combination of these appears to be happening now at the time of this publishing.
The break-away regions in the east – scheduled for an official referendum at the start of May or sooner, prior to the mock Parliamentary elections being staged by the Kiev Junta, the latter which being an attempt to legitimize the coup and proceed as if nothing unusual or illegal had occurred at all.
Also yesterday, protester militia captured an American blackwater mercenary in Kharkov. He was illegally dressed as Ukrainian special forces Alpha and may have been on one of several possible missions. Actual Ukrainian special forces have refused orders as reported above. Kiev has hired foreign mercenaries to take over law enforcement duties as well as most covert operations in eastern Ukraine, as the country struggles to regain control of its security apparatus, economist Michel Chossudovsky told RT.
RT: Activists in Kharkov are saying that policemen from other Ukrainian regions arrived in the city and they were the ones, who provoked the violence. What were they trying to achieve in your opinion?
Michel Chossudovsky: First of all the Kiev government has lost control of its security forces, its law enforcement in Eastern Ukraine. And this, they’ve realized several weeks back, because Ukraine’s interim government confirmed they were hiring a private military company, named Greystone Ltd, a company that was founded by (former) British SAS in the heyday, but actually they’re bringing in private mercenaries, which are now most probably integrating with the police forces, but they are also acting outside the realm of official law enforcement agencies.
And witnesses said that these people came in, they could have been agent provocateurs, I suspect they were, which also integrates the US, NATO-supported military company which is acting in Eastern Ukraine. At the same time there is also the role of the neo-conservative, neo-Nazis given the fact that we know that the two extreme right parties Svoboda and the Right Sector are in control of the committee for national security and defense, which plays a key role. And I would suspect that the government in Kiev is also divided between the ministry of interior on the one hand and the right wing extremists on the other.
RT: With protests swelling up in the south-east of the country, Kiev is threatening ‘a harsh response’. What does that mean do you think?
MC: First of all that government does not really control the shots. It is an instrument of the puppet masters namely the US, NATO, and to a lesser extent the EU. They obey orders and we have seen the position, they’ve taken with regard to the IMF reforms. They simply stated, we will accept whatever reforms proposed to us by the IMF. And essentially what they have accepted is the impoverishment of the entire population, from West to East, because that reform package is going to create a further process of impoverishment of a country which has already been impoverished in the course of the last 20 years. This reform package essentially destroys the livelihood of the Ukrainian population and the people in Eastern Ukraine are now protesting against this government which is committed to the impoverishment of the masses of people. And they actually have acknowledged that this is going to impoverish the population.
RT: The Russian foreign ministry said that the most troubling thing is that there are mercenaries from an American private security firm among them. What do you think about this?
MC: I’m going by a report that was published on March 25 by a Russian news agency. It was based on the statements made by the interim government to the effect that a US private military company, in fact it is not a US registered private military company, it is registered somewhere in the Caribbean, on an island. It is Greystone Ltd., and this particular company was hired with a view to essentially taking over law enforcement activities as well as most probably covert operations in eastern Ukraine. It is not in the interest of Russian government to see this process erupting in the form of a violent protest movement or a process that will ultimately destabilize eastern Ukraine. There is no evidence that the Russian government is anyway interfering with the unfolding events in eastern Ukraine. This is a spontaneous movement which is emanating from grassroots, which also has considerable support within the Ukrainian population of eastern Ukraine.

They’re called the “laws of war.”
Buried deep within the 1,000 pages that make up the National Defense Authorization Act is Subtitle D-Counterterrorism, containing a number of provisions which, among other things, allow the U.S. government to “use all necessary and appropriate force pursuant to the authorization of military force,” including detention without trial and trial by “an alternative court or competent tribunal having lawful jurisdiction.”
While much of the public would link such broad authorization to the federal government in dealing with al-Qaeda, the Taliban or other forces hostile to the United States, a growing number of communities, including some in Idaho, are drawing their own line in the sand against the NDAA.
“Under the NDAA, it says that anyone can be indefinitely detained, without charge or trial,” Jason Casella, a 30-year-old Gem County farmer told Boise Weekly. “So, that means no matter what you may feel strongly about, even education, health care, the Second Amendment, genetically modified foods, you could be indefinitely detained.”
Casella calls himself a “political atheist.”
“Honestly, I don’t believe in either major political party,” he said. “Right now, I’m working on PANDA and helping others do what I’ve been doing.”
He’s not alone. PANDA is People Against the NDAA, an organization founded by Ohio college students in 2012 and which has grown like wildfire in pushing anti-NDAA legislation in more than 20 states.

Do you want solid proof that paid government shills are targeting websites, blogs, forums and social media accounts? For years, many have suspected that government trolls have been systematically causing havoc all over the Internet, but proving it has been difficult. But now thanks to documents leaked by Edward Snowden and revealed by Glenn Greenwald, we finally have hard evidence that western governments have been doing this. As you will see below, a UK intelligence outfit known as the Government Communications Headquarters, through a previously secret unit known as the Joint Threat Research Intelligence Group, has been systematically attempting “to control, infiltrate, manipulate, and warp online discourse”. This should be deeply disturbing to anyone that values free speech on the Internet.
It isn’t just that the British government is trying to influence what people are thinking. The reality is that this is far bigger than a mere propaganda campaign. As Greenwald recently noted on his new website, the “integrity of the Internet itself” is at stake…
By publishing these stories one by one, our NBC reporting highlighted some of the key, discrete revelations: the monitoring of YouTube and Blogger, the targeting of Anonymous with the very same DDoS attacks they accuse “hacktivists” of using, the use of “honey traps” (luring people into compromising situations using sex) and destructive viruses. But, here, I want to focus and elaborate on the overarching point revealed by all of these documents: namely, that these agencies are attempting to control, infiltrate, manipulate, and warp online discourse, and in doing so, are compromising the integrity of the internet itself.
So what techniques are the British using to control and manipulate discourse on the Internet? According to Greenwald, the documents that Snowden has uncovered show that they are willing to sink to despicable lows in order to get the results that they desire…
Among the core self-identified purposes of JTRIG are two tactics: (1) to inject all sorts of false material onto the internet in order to destroy the reputation of its targets; and (2) to use social sciences and other techniques to manipulate online discourse and activism to generate outcomes it considers desirable. To see how extremist these programs are, just consider the tactics they boast of using to achieve those ends: “false flag operations” (posting material to the internet and falsely attributing it to someone else), fake victim blog posts (pretending to be a victim of the individual whose reputation they want to destroy), and posting “negative information” on various forums.

You’ve probably run into them before — those seemingly random antagonizers who always end up diverting the conversation in an online chat room or article comment section away from the issue at hand, and towards a much different agenda. Hot-button issues like illegal immigration, the two-party political system, the “war on terror” and even alternative medicine are among the most common targets of such attackers, known as internet “trolls” or “shills,” who in many cases are nothing more than paid lackeys hired by the federal government and other international organizations to sway and ultimately control public opinion.
Several years ago, Canada’s CTV News aired a short segment about how its own government had been exposed for hiring secret agents to monitor social media and track online conversations, as well as the activities of certain dissenting individuals. This report, which in obvious whitewashing language referred to such activities as the government simply “weighing in and correcting” allegedly false information posted online, basically admitted that the Canadian government had assumed the role of secret online police.

Sadly, the reality of the matter is that the days of the free and open Internet are numbered. ‘Whether WWIII will escalate or not will be determined Tomorrow! The Kiev Junta yesterday issued a 48 hour ultimatum for pro-Russian breakaways in the east, particularly Donetsk, to disband. Rumors about Russian Build-up are false. These rumors of 250,000 russian forces were spread by Ukrainian Ministry of Defense head Tehnyuk. But these rumors had the effect of Scaring, not Emboldening the Ukrainian military. Tehnyuk was sacked by the Junta and replaced by Koval; Koval is a political choice and a less capable military man. Today’s rumors are that 15,000 Russian soldiers are ‘amassed’ near the border. Yes, 15,000 are there, but they have always been there. It is Russia’s border, after all.
Russia has the ability to annex all of Eastern Europe but will not do so. Russia will act entirely within the sphere of international law, as set by precedent. Ukraine has no real military capacity, and its airforce is barely operational at 80 craft, many are just helicopters. Ukraine has no ICBM’s and no bombers.
USrael is sending in blackwater mercenaries, many of whom are Israeli special forces and US trained killers from Afghanistan and Iraq. This is further evidence that Kiev does not have full command of its own army. ”

Chris Carlson (IMEMC) : Video emerged, on Sunday, of the moment an Israeli sniper shot a Palestinian cameraman in the stomach while he was covering a protest at Ofer prison, on Friday.
BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — Israeli security forces shot and injured Mohammed Basman Yasin, a volunteer cameraman for the Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem, while he was filming a protest in the West Bank city of Beitunia, according to Israeli website +972.
The video, which could not be independently verified, appears to show Palestinian protesters sitting on the road when Israel forces arrive and begin firing tear gas canisters at them.
At times, protesters are seen throwing rocks at Israeli forces, although in other scenes activists can be seen walking towards an ambulance when Israeli forces open fire without warning in their direction.
At 5:30, meanwhile, two activists can be seen throwing rocks at the heavily-armed Israeli soldiers, when the video cuts to a scene showing Yasin, who is at the back of a large crowd watching the scene, being shot in the stomach.
Israeli forces caused severe damage to his internal organs, and according to B’Tselem, doctors have said they may be forced to remove his liver and kidneys.
Yasin is currently hospitalized in Ramallah.
The clashes took place near the Israeli Ofer prison, located in the occupied West Bank, in protest against the Israeli government’s refusal to release a fourth group of veteran Palestinian prisoners it had previously agreed to release as part of ongoing US-sponsored negotiations with the PLO.
13 were reported injured during the clashes, including seven with live bullets.
An Israeli army spokeswoman told Ma’an that Israeli forces fired at “rioters” who threw rocks and burning tires at security forces, “lightly injuring” five.

A fist-fight erupted at Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada in Kiev Tuesday between members from the Communist party and the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union. The fist-fight broke out after First Secretary of the Communist Party Petro Symonenko accused Ukrainian nationalists of being the cause of the current unrest in Ukraine.
