Connecticut Mass Shooting: At Least 27 Dead in Horrific School Shooting

In what most likely will go down as the worst school shooting in American history, at least 27 people, including up to 18 children, have been killed after a gunman (or two) opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.
Multiple news outlets are reporting different numbers in regards to how many have been shot and killed but it has been confirmed that at least 18 children have been killed.
On top of that, the Hartford Courant is reporting that an entire classroom of children is still unaccounted for.
An official with knowledge of Connecticut school shooting tells the Associated Press that 27 people are dead, including 18 children.
Many of the shootings took place in a kindergarten classroom, sources told the Hartford Courant.
The Atlantic Wire is reporting a similar death toll and also the claim that an entire classroom could be gone.
12:50 p.m.: The Courant reports that “One entire classroom is unaccounted for outside the school” though isn’t clear if that means they are missing, or gathered somewhere else.
12:39 p.m.: John Miller of CBS News says 27 people are dead, including 14 children. Miller also report the suspect was about 20 years old, possibly a parent of a student.
12:37 p.m.: Parents interviewed by ABC-TV say that under normal conditions, anyone enter the school during the day must be ring a bell and be let inside by school officials, suggesting that the gunman was known, possibly a parent.
Residents in the area are obviously stunned, with many disbelieving that something like this could even happen in the picturesque town of a little over 27,000.
“I can’t believe — in a small town like this — we’ve never had anything like this happen,” her father told a local CNN affiliate WTNH. “I was pretty shaken up. I did not know who or what happened.”
“It doesn’t seem possible,” said Alexa’s mother. “You have something happen so close to home. … I guess I’m still in shock.”
In the first reports by the Atlantic Wire, witnesses had reported at least two shooters but, as with almost every single mass shooting in American history, the media is pushing towards the lone gunman narrative.
NBC News is also reporting that second suspect may be in custody.
Clarification on the NBC report: Person in custody, may be second individual connected to CT school shooting (not two in custody)
Multiple corporate media reports indicate that the suspect was in his 20′s, had up to 4 guns, and was wearing a bullet proof vest.
He may have been a father of one of the students at the school.
1:20 p.m.: ABC News is reporting that 1 shooter was a 24-year-old in a bulletproof vest and four guns.
Obviously this is one of the most horrific shootings in history and, sadly, this tragedy will be used to further push for more gun control. (putting guns into the hands of criminals and keeping them out of law-abiding citizens)
Globalist operatives such as Michael Bloomberg are SURE to use this horrible tragedy to further attempt to restrict the American people’s right to bare arms.

Update: According to a report on CNN, a man in camouflage gear has been taken out of the woods in handcuffs near the school.
This is a huge development as it shows that there were most likely at least two suspects. It is possible that the second arrest will be completely covered up in the near future.
US-Backed Syrian Opposition Demands Support for Al Qaeda

December 13, 2012 (LD) – As part of the US’ charade in declaring support and recognition of the so-called “Syrian” opposition, it added one of the more extreme groups that make up the militant front operating inside Syria to a list of sanctioned terrorist organizations. The idea was to have a scapegoat to pin atrocities on while the West armed, funded, and provided military support for the rest of the extremist groups ravaging Syria.
The ploy quickly fell apart however, when the US’ own handpicked opposition leader, Moaz al-Khatib spoke out in protest. Reuters quoted al-Khatib as saying:
“The decision to consider a party that is fighting the regime as a terrorist party needs to be reviewed. We might disagree with some parties and their ideas and their political and ideological vision. But we affirm that all the guns of the rebels are aimed at overthrowing the tyrannical criminal regime.”
Al-Khatib himself openly declares his intentions of establishing an “Islamic state” upon the ashes of the currently secular Syria, and has ties with the extremist Muslim Brotherhood. He was also a representative of Western big oil interests, in particular Royal Dutch Shell. Al-Khatib had worked at the al-Furat Petroleum Company for six years, according to the BBC, which is partnered with Shell Oil. Al-Khatib is also said to have lobbied for Shell in Syria between 2003-2004, and has likewise taught classes in both Europe and the United States, this according to his biography featured on his own website.
The implications of the US-backed “opposition coalition” in Syria clearly collaborating with and acting in support of the terrorist Jabhat al-Nusra front, identifies it as providing material support or resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization, as per USC § 2339B which reads:
“Whoever knowingly provides material support or resources to a foreign terrorist organization, or attempts or conspires to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 15 years, or both, and, if the death of any person results, shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life. To violate this paragraph, a person must have knowledge that the organization is a designated terrorist organization (as defined in subsection (g)(6)), that the organization has engaged or engages in terrorist activity (as defined in section 212(a)(3)(B) of the Immigration and Nationality Act), or that the organization has engaged or engages in terrorism (as defined in section 140(d)(2) of the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, Fiscal Years 1988 and 1989).”
Clearly, at the very least, the US cannot “recognize” such a group as the “representatives” of the Syrian people, nor can it support them in any manner, financial, militarily, or politically. To do so would implicate the US government itself as in violation of its own anti-terror laws.
The so-called “Syrian” opposition has been an increasing embarrassment to the Western interests that have maliciously arrayed them against the Syrian people, as far back as 2007. And while NATO is willfully utilizing Al Qaeda’s own regional networks to flood terrorists into Syria, to have the leaders of their own contrived opposition front openly demand that Al Qaeda be given support and recognition gives the world’s public insight into the depths of illegitimacy from which the West is operating in pursuit of regime change in Syria.

More Loud Booms Reported In GA; Reports In Other U.S. Cities Too [video]

Columbia County officials say that more people reported hearing mysterious booms over the last few days. Some people said the blasts were so loud that they were awakened from sleep. Local experts still don’t know what the cause is, but now the reports aren’t limited to just Columbia County.
Early this week, reports starting flooding into the Columbia County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) about loud booms in the area.
“Appling, Harlem is the typical area we are looking at here. Of loud booms, rumbling. Now we’re hearing about pictures being moved on walls,” says Pam Tucker, who is the director of the Columbia County EMA
A man who lives on Louisville Road, near Grovetown, says he also heard the mysterious booms. He wouldn’t speak to us on camera, but he told us the blast shook his house early Tuesday morning. He says when he walked outside, his driveway had new cracks in it. Since he lives near a rock quarry, he figured that’s what it was.
“We have already checked and our seismologist says that there is no activity on any of our equipment, as far as earthquakes. We’ve already called all the rock quarries, there was no blasting during any of those times,” says Tucker.
Friday afternoon, Tucker says she may have found a lead on what the cause of the booms could be. In a YouTube video, people are shooting at a device called an Earth Shaker. It’s full of gun powder and when it explodes, it’s apparently powerful enough to shake the ground. But this week there have also been other reports of loud booms in other cities, some in Arizona, Rhode Island, Alabama, and Texas. Could there be another explanation?
Tucker says, “I’m concerned because we do have a lot of credible people who are telling me these things. Law enforcement, fire, county employees, citizens, all of who are credible because they are people I know, people who go through our training. You don’t have clusters of people that are all telling you the same thing and it’s not happening. Something is making those loud booms, what it is, I don’t know.”
Several theories are popping up about methane gas pockets exploding underground, military testing, and the fact that we are a few weeks away from the end of the Mayan calendar.
We were contacted Friday morning from a newspaper reporter in central Arizona who saw Thursday’s posting about the Columbia County story on WJBF.com.
