American and French Warmongers openly Plot the Destruction of Syria

Against the will of the international community, in open defiance of their own contrived international law, American and French warmongers openly plot the destruction of Syria.
A recent event held by the Neo-Conservative Foreign Policy Initiative, featured a “conversation” with Senator John McCain and self-proclaimed “philosopher” Bernard-Henri Lévy. Both men played a pivotal role in arranging and promoting the arming, funding, and diplomatic recognition of terrorists in Libya who have now overrun much of the country, committed wide scale atrocities, and have left a US Ambassador dead and a US consulate burnt to the ground. Despite this, they now openly seek to repeat their “success” in Syria.

- Libya’s “freedom fighters” are verified terrorists. Benghazi, Libya was their epicenter.
- These very same terrorists are now being purposefully armed, funded, and funneled into Syria, via NATO member Turkey.
- The violence in Syria is the result of a premeditated US-Israeli-Saudi plan stretching back to 2007, confirmed by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh in his article “The Redirection.”
- The current “rebels” in Syria are sectarian driven, genocidal members of the Muslims Brotherhood and Al Qaeda, already subjugating segments of Syria’s population along the Turkish-Syrian border to medieval, Saudi-inspired autocracy and barbarism.
- The so-called “Syrian National Council” is run by a Western big-oil representative who openly admits he seeks to establish an “Islamic state” upon the ashes of secular Syria.
- Worst of all, McCain and Lévy admit the US, French, European, and even Turkish people reject wholly the notion of intervention in Syria, as well as the fact that the International community has, on numerous occasions blocked attempts to approve of meddling in Syria’s internal affairs, yet both men, and the interests they represent continue to conspire to push the conflict further, at the cost of more lives, and at the risk of unraveling regional stability.
City Warns of Cell Phone Link to Cancer [video included]

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – The city of Pembroke Pines wants its residents to know that cell phones could be dangerous and linked to cancer. A newly-passed resolution was inspired by a resident who believes his brain tumor was caused by his mobile device.
“A lot of scientific data has to be done with it and the ordinance is kind of generic but it makes people aware,” said Pines mayor Frank Ortis.
Pines resident Jimmy Gonzalez had tumors removed in his brain above his left ear, his left hand, and near his hip. All places where he said his phone was pressed for long periods of time.
“I kept getting headaches,” Gonzalez said. “One day I realized I hold my cell phone with the same hand, up against this ear and when I was done, I would put it in to these pockets.”
Gonzalez spoke before the Pines City commission last month to encourage them to consider the resolution, which passed unanimously.
Unlike an ordinance, the resolution does not impose rules nor issues fines for non-compliance.
Part of the resolution encourages people to send texts or emails if possible, and asks people to keep phones at least an inch from their body.
“I think that could be good,” said one Pines resident Monday night.
But the idea of a city asking residents to behave a certain way did not sit well with everyone.
“I think that’s crossing the line,” said resident Shelly Grocher.
Ortis said the city can’t legislate human behavior, but encourages everyone to be informed.
In May, the World Health Organization reported that there could be a risk of cancer due to cell phone use.
“We worry about all aspects of life in our great city,” Ortis said.

Washington Wants Puppet Government in Syria [video included]

An analyst says the United States seeks to establish a Libya-style “pure puppet government” in Syria to deprive Hezbollah and Iran of a necessary ally and fulfill the geopolitical agenda of imperial powers in the region.
The comment comes as nearly 40 people have been killed and over 80 others injured in bomb attacks carried out in a district near the Syrian capital city of Damascus. The bombings rocked the Jaramana district, about 10 kilometers (six miles) southeast of Damascus, on Wednesday.
Press TV has conducted an interview with New York-based Eric Draitser, founder of Stopimperialism.com to shed more light on the issue. What follows is an approximate transcription of the interview.
Press TV: As someone mentioned in that report is this essentially a result of what happened in Doha as far as the forming of the coalition goes and secondly if that is true then how can the Syrian people have any confidence in this coalition which is meant to represent them?
Draitser: Well, to answer the second part of your question first, certainly they should not have any confidence in the so called Syrian coalition. The reality is that this is a coalition that was created at the behest of Hillary Clinton and the United States and more generally the Western imperial powers and the purpose of it was to rebrand the opposition and to make it more palatable both to world opinion and to those in Syria and in fact what we see is that the new head of this coalition Mouaz al-Khatib is in fact merely a puppet of the Western powers.
More to the point he has made references to Syria becoming a purely Islamic state and so the events that we’ve seen in Jaramana in the past two days seem to indicate this same point that they are attacking not just any suburb of Damascus but a suburb that is home to much of the Christian and Druze population in the area and so this is clearly an attack that is motivated by a desire for sectarian conflict to sow the seeds of chaos between Christians, Druze, Alawites, Shia Muslims and all of the other groups for the interests of the United States.
Press TV: So then in a sense Mr. Draitser is the United States creating a future headache for itself? Once again is in a sense history repeating itself?
Draitser: Well, certainly history is repeating itself but I think it’s a mistake to think that the United States wants something other than chaos. Certainly they would like a pure puppet government the way that they have in Libya but the side effect of that is a chaotic situation that cannot be controlled by a government authority.
The United States is perfectly happy with this because what it does is it deprives Hezbollah of a necessary ally; it deprives the Iranians of a necessary ally and it furthers the geopolitical agenda of the United States, Israel and the Western imperial powers.
