Red is a “negative color” now …well we here are Red Ice are offended by that! So send them to jail!
Where will it end?
Can students not handle being wrong?
Kids these days, they can’t handle any negativity. Stereotypical millennials always need to be rewarded for their accomplishments whether or not they actually accomplished anything. Now, one school is taking this to heart by banning red ink.
At an academy in the U.K. county of Cornwall, teachers have been instructed not to grade papers in red pen because it is a “very negative color,” vice principal Jennie Hick told the Daily Mail. Green was suggested instead for corrections (the opposite of red, we supposed).
What’s more, teachers are encouraged to write “two or three positive comments” about the work handed in, and students can respond to their teachers’ comments in purple. Wonder what color they’ll write their diary entry in when, as adults, they realize everything is a lie and they are not actually special snowflakes?
School bans red ink – and tells teachers to mark in green instead (and get pupils to respond in purple)
* Teachers at Mounts Bay Academy near Penzance, Cornwall, told red is a ’very negative colour’
* System is designed to encourage dialogue between teachers and pupils
* Vice principal Jennie Hick said: ’Switching to the new marking system is certainly not about us going all soft and fuzzy’
A school has banned teachers from marking in red pen because is it judged a ‘very negative colour’.
Teachers at Mounts Bay Academy near Penzance, Cornwall, have reportedly been told to use green pens instead.
Pupils, meanwhile, are being asked to comment on marking using purple pens.
According to The Cornishman, the new system is designed to encourage dialogue between teachers and students.
‘Switching to the new marking system is certainly not about us going all soft and fuzzy,’ vice principal Jennie Hick told the paper.
She said that the system will see teachers make ‘two or three positive comments’ about homework.
It is hoped this will encourage pupils to not just look for their overall marks, but get them to respond with comments of their own.
She told the paper: ‘I think it was felt that red ink was a very negative colour.’
However, Campaign for Real Education chairman Chris McGovern told the paper that, in fact, students prefer red ink because it makes comments easier to read.
He said: ‘A lot of schools seem to have a culture where they don’t like criticising children but actually this helps them.’

Jason Glicker is a substitute teacher at Grosse Pointe North High School in Detroit, MI.
He recently had a discussion with his students about various topics that include September 11th, World War II, and false flag terror attacks. What makes Mr. Glicker’s approach a bit different from anything his students have ever heard before is that he doesn’t exactly subscribe to the “official” stories surrounding these historical events.
Rather than following textbook curriculum, Glicker chose to share some alternative ideas. One of his students happened to capture it all on video and share it on the Internet. Now, parents and mainstream media outlets are up in arms, because according to them, his theories are a bit “bizarre.”
A student at a public, taxpayer-funded high school in Michigan has clandestinely filmed a substitute teacher preaching crazy conspiracy theories in front of a high school physics class last month.
Note that The Daily Caller takes special care to let you know that this is a “public” and “taxpayer” funded institution. We’re not exactly sure why that’s important, but apparently if taxpayers are paying for it, then there can be no open discourse or theoretical discussions about any topic except for what the government and teachers’ unions authorize.
The “crazy conspiracy” theories that can be heard on the video include suggestions that 9-11 may have involved members of Pakistani intelligence services who were funded by the CIA and brainwashing of the terrorists involved.
Glicker also went so far as to suggest that President Roosevelt and members of the military had foreknowledge of an impending Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, something that has actually been verified by countless independent sources and recently made into a documentary by the BBC.
He also mentioned that governments are often complicit in attacks that are seemingly executed by the enemy, though are often funded or organized by the very people who then point fingers at others. It’s another “conspiracy theory” validated by decades of facts including the Reichstag fire that gave the Nazis a leg up in Germany and the completely staged Gulf of Tonkin incident cited as the start of the Vietnam war.
Other topics discussed include the crazy notion that the United States sold guns to Mexican drug cartels in something called Operation Fast and Furious, as well as the Iran/Contra affair in which agents of the U.S. government facilitated the sale of weapons to Iran.
Here’s video of the “incident”:
(Video via The Daily Sheeple)
The student who recorded the video was later quoted as saying, “it is inappropriate for him [Glicker] to indoctrinate students without facts or logical discussion, especially in a physics class.” It is, however, apparently appropriate for this Mensa candidate to have his cell phone on and recording during physics class. We’re sure this particular social networking butterfly would prefer to spend his time working advanced theoretical equations that he can then post on his Facebook page or YouTube channel for all the world to see.
Of course, the “facts” in all of the aforementioned events are not only disputed, but logical discussions about them are widely available all over the Internet, something this particular student could have easily accessed on the very cell phone with which he recorded the lecture.
“I like it when kids are engaged and they’re actually interested if I have something to say, they seem like they want to hear it. I will definitely tell them,” said Glicker when asked about his non-traditional method of teaching.
The real indoctrination, at least for the student who caught this on video, has been successfully fulfilled and he can now join the ranks of his fellow police statists currently being educated throughout America.
It’s shameful, but unfortunately a sign of our times, that anyone who questions the status quo and the official story is subjected to public ridicule by the very people who are supposed to investigate and keep our government in check.
Had anyone in the mainstream media, or the student who made the video, taken just a single hour to open their minds to other possibilities they would have learned that most of Glicker’s theories have, if nothing else, at least some semblance of fact and credibility.
Of course, this is the new America, where free thought and open discussion are relics of a bygone era.

We think this study guide given out before Christmas break 2013 speaks for itself. It may or may not be Common Core based. Behavior molding schooling precedes Common Core by decades.
Aside from the take home message that if you don’t button your mouth, obey laws, vote and pay taxes “you’re bad” – a third grader can also learn incorrect spelling and grammar with this guide.
What is it that an 8-year-old is never to argue about? And with whom?
A lot could be said about the mixed messages in this study guide – please leave your thoughts below.
Whatever you do…don’t “liter” – you’re a very, very bad citizen if you do it.

A student opened fire at a high school in Centennial, Colorado, critically injuring a classmate before apparently taking his own life. The school is located down the road from the Aurora movie theater where a gunman went on a shooting spree in 2012.
The victim of Friday’s shooting is a 15-year-old girl, who remains in hospital after surgery. Another female student was thought to be injured as well, but was actually spattered with the victim’s blood.
The shooting was reportedly triggered by a grudge towards a member of staff over a demotion in a debate team.
The Denver Post reported that a shooting had occurred at Arapahoe High School around 1:00 p.m. local time. One hour later, it was announced during a press briefing on the scene that the suspect had been found dead inside the school, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Authorities reported evidence of two Molotov cocktail at the scene. Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson told reporters that investigators were working on examining the device, and had found remnants of the two devices, one of which was apparently detonated. They believe that the gunman came armed with a shotgun.
Students heard multiple shots coming from the cafeteria around lunchtime, Post reporter Ryan Parker tweeted from outside the school, just moments after the incident unfolded.

From “Skin-Shock Therapy” to exclusion rooms, public school systems across the United States are engaging our youth with in torturous and aggressive discipline measures, in some cases ending in the death of a student.
(INTELLIHUB) — In an extremely shocking and sickening report, thankfully brought to us by Brian Ross of Nightline on ABC News, we can clearly see a pattern and push toward a police state trend in America that’s not slowing down anytime soon. Public and private schools around the country are now in the business of torturing students and in some cases like Corey Foster’s mentioned in the report, even killing them in the process all in the name of discipline and safety.
Foster, now dead from cardiac arrest during a failed restraint session after being told to “stop playing basketball”, is just one of many examples of students that have been killed in school discipline procedures.
Although these restraint and torture methods are barbaric, especially for children, surprisingly the methods are not illegal in most states. In fact, only “17 states” have laws limiting such action within the school system.
Experts are split on the use of these techniques, while some say they are good for the children and can even protect them in some cases, others simply are not having it, claiming that children exposed to such techniques become even more violent displaying even more behavioral problems down the line. Although a general consensus amongst the public concludes these methods are not warranted, the government backed indoctrination programs will continue for now.
As a side note, I myself attended the 7th grade in a Pensacola public school in the “sunshine state” of good old Florida, in the “Bible Belt” mind you, and had one encounter myself that I will never forget.
On one hot summer morning during P.E. class I was attacked by a fellow student in the locker room as he came at me full force in a boxing style stance unloading a melee of punches. Out of instinct, I rapidly reacted and defended myself as would anyone in this situation delivering a one kick K.O. to my attacker. After the fight I was taken to the office and I quickly realized it didn’t matter to the school staff that I did not start the fight, I was going to be punished anyways.
To my surprise the school planned to inflict physical pain on me. My discipline was 1-week suspension and what the school refereed to as “ten licks”, meaning I was going to get paddled, and paddled good.
Once I arrived at the school’s Dean’s Office, the staff had me bend over. They made me put my hands on the desk as the Dean proceeded to pull out a 2 foot long wooden paddle about 1–1/2 inches thick waving it around to intimidate me. I was terrified.
The paddle was filled with holes drilled all throughout the paddle’s face so the Dean can gain more speed with each swing, limiting the air resistance before slamming into the victims buttocks. And yes, I was the next victim. Let’s just say the “ten licks” I received that day severely bruised and hurt me beyond any ass beating I have ever received prior to or after for that matter.
Once I arrived at home later that day, my Mom was in shock. She saw the marks on me from the torture the school inflicted and was infuriated. She immediately went down to the school and demanded that someone be held accountable. However, she found out to her surprise, no one cared. In fact, the school staff told her that the torture was “legal” and “approved.
What is wrong with our public school systems? Why should teachers and school staff be able to push the limits of discipline and use these torturous tactics?

This show is being released on Friday, March 15, 2010. Part 2 of my interview with John Taylor Gatto was recorded on February 24, 2010. Today we continue learning the significance behind Pink Floyd’s song Another Brick in the Wall, part 2, and how utterly fubar our public education system is in our second interview with John Taylor Gatto. We continue with some important questions: Is there a relationship between eugenics, mind control and compulsory education? Is compulsory education good for anyone and what are the negative effects of our “modern” education system? Where did our education system originate, and by whom? What’s happened to our educational system since the 1800s? Has there been an intentional effort by the elites and government to dumb us down? What do compulsory education and Pavlov’s dogs have in common? Are children better off working, or being in school? MUST HEAR — John Taylor Gatto interview – “Another Brick in the Wall, part 1″ – #068 – Gnostic Media
March 5, 2013
This show is being released on Friday, March 05, 2010. My interview with John Taylor Gatto was recorded on February 23, 2010. I simply could not wait to share this interview with all of you, it’s just too important, and I just have to share, so I’m releasing it 3 days early. So it’s like Christmas in spring, but without the mushrooms. Today we’re going to learn the significance behind Pink Floyd’s song Another Brick in the Wall part 2. We ask some important questions: Is there a relationship between eugenics, mind control and compulsory education? Is compulsory education good for anyone and what are the negative effects of our “modern” education system? Where did our education system originate, and by whom? What’s happened to our educational system since the 1800s? Has there been an intentional effort by the elites and government to dumb us down? What do compulsory education and Pavlov’s dogs have in common? Are children better off working, or being in school? To answer these questions, we first have to reach the foundation of our education system. Continuing our education on the Trivium method, this is one of the most important and powerful interviews to date, and my guest for this week and next is John Taylor Gatto – probably the most famous school teacher in the world, and he was New York State teacher of the year when he quit on the OP Ed page of the Wall Street Journal in 1991. John Taylor Gatto climaxed his teaching career as New York State Teacher of the Year after being named New York City Teacher of the Year on three occasions. He quit teaching on the OP ED page of the Wall Street Journal in 1991 while still New York State Teacher of the Year, claiming that he was no longer willing to hurt children. Later that year he was the subject of a show at Carnegie Hall called “An Evening With John Taylor Gatto,” which launched a career of public speaking in the area of school reform, which has taken Gatto over a million and a half miles in all fifty states and seven foreign countries. In 1992, he was named Secretary of Education in the Libertarian Party’s Shadow Cabinet, and he has been included in Who’s Who in America from 1996 on. In 1997, he was given the Alexis de Tocqueville Award for his contributions to the cause of liberty, and was named to the Board of Advisors of the National TV-Turnoff Week. MUST SEE/HEAR — Dr. Michael Labossiere interview, pt. 1 – “Logical Fallacies: The Critical Thinking Meme″ – #062 (+ video) – Gnostic Media
January 25, 2010
What would happen if everyone in society received an immunization against all of today’s media and political propaganda? Is there a simple, logical process to arm ourselves against such attempts at mind manipulation and control? What if you had the ability to quickly and easily break down words and sentences to identify lies and untruths and propaganda? What do grammar and rhetoric have to do with logic and critical thinking, or, for that matter, marketing, PR and propaganda spin, and more importantly, exactly how can they help you? If someone presents evidence of a claim, do you have a mental duty to study it before you attack it? How can we make our minds sharper? Is it possible to level the playing field against corporate and government propaganda by creating a critical thinking meme? Today we launch the critical thinking meme into society and I ask for your help to spread it, to share today’s talk with all you know: friends, co-workers, family, business associates and school mates. If you want to help make an immediate change in your own and other people’s lives for the better, today’s show is one of the primary ways to do it. We’re going to continue our study of the trivium with Dr. Michael Labossiere who is here to discuss logical fallacies. Micheal will be back in the next week or two to also discuss the subject and predicate. This show is being released on Monday, January 25, 2010. My interview with Michael Labossiere was recorded on January 09, 2010. Michael LaBossiere is a guy from Maine who went to school in Ohio and ended up in Florida. Professionally he is a philosophy professor at Florida A&M University. He started teaching there in the Fall of 1993 and greatly enjoy his choice of careers. He teaches a wide variety of classes that range from Aesthetics (theories of art and beauty) to Theory of Knowledge. His first philosophy book, What Don’t You Know? hit the shelves in the spring of 2008. He also blogs for The Philosophers’ Magazine and has numerous academic publications. In addition to his love of wisdom, he has a great love of running. Michael started running at the age of fifteen. He tried out for the basketball team, but sucked badly. The coach told him that the track team had to take anyone and suggested that he become a runner. It turned out to be a great choice. He ran in high school and then ran in college. He kept running in grad school and still runs today, mostly to combat the effects of pie consumption. He is a member of the Gulf Winds Track Club, the local running club in Tallahassee. Michael also enjoys the martial arts, specifically tae kwon do. He started training in grad school at Ohio State and still practices today. He enjoys the physical and mental training. Plus, hitting a punching bag is a great way to burn off stress. It also makes it possible to survive committee meetings. He started gaming (Dungeons & Dragons) when he was 15 and fell in love with the idea of creating worlds and stories and ended up writing professionally for several game companies. Yes, gaming is for nerds- he freely accept his nerdtastic ways. He also enjoys computer and console gaming. Despite playing far too much World of Warcraft, he claims he is not obsessed with games and alleges that reality is still much better than virtual reality. He is very fond of animals and has two cats (Ash & Zax) and a hyper husky (Isis). As you know, having children “running in packs” just won’t do, so a school system in Grand Rapids, Michigan is determined to put a stop to such unruly behavior.
“Tag” will no longer be allowed for the young students of the Zeeland Public School system.
On Wednesday, Oct. 2, New Groningen kindergarten teachers sent home a letter alerting parents to the policy. It described the problem of children “running in packs, pushing, knocking other children over, and making the game dangerous.”
On Thursday, Oct. 3, a follow up letter was sent home with students clarifying the policy after the “no tag” rule created a bit of controversy.
“We want our children to treat each other with respect, kindness, and with safety in mind,” said Ginger Smith, community relations manager for Zeeland Public Schools, on Friday. (source)
So….let’s see. In the past few months students have had the following experiences at school:
- A Michigan teen could face felony weapons charges due to the contents of a fishing tackle box in his car.
- Students were required to kneel on the playground whenever the teacher blew a whistle.
- Texas teens were forced to imagine dying in the World Trade Center and then write an essay about it.
- A Michigan school confiscated a little boy’s birthday cupcakes because they had scary green plastic army guys (with guns) on them.
- Two students were expelled from a Virginia school for playing with Airsoft guns.at home.
- An 8 year old was suspended for playing with an invisible gun (his finger).
- The parents of a 3-year-old deaf boy were asked to change his name sign because it resembled a gun and thus violated their weapons policy.
- A Rhode Island 7th grader was suspended because a keychain with a toy gun the size of a quarter fell out of his backpack at school.
- Teachers used racial slurs and forced a black child to run through the forest pretending to be an escaped slave on a school field trip.
- A Virginia high school student was sent home because his Duck Dynasty t-shirt “implied violence”.
Are you starting to see a pattern here? An agenda?
The public school system is educating the kids all right. They are instilling in them a hive mentality, destroying critical thinking, and “wussifying” them to such a point of extreme sensitivity that they would cringe away from any type of confrontation, particularly one with a dreaded gun. They are purposely brainwashing the kids into thinking that any type of weapon is something to be greatly feared, as opposed to it being a tool that can be responsibly used. They are traumatizing children to instill a meek “follower” mentality.
The Powers That Be are creating their own version of job security. A bunch of young adults who were raised to be terrified of a little kid pointing his finger and yelling “pow pow” – well, they sure aren’t going to be the guys who stage a coup and overthrow a corrupt government, are they?

Clashes broke out in Rio de Janeiro’s busy downtown business district on Tuesday as police skirmished with striking schoolteachers. Teachers pressing for better pay had gathered in front of City Hall, where a vote on Mayor Eduardo Paes’ salary proposal was expected. The strikers oppose the proposal, which they say doesn’t go far enough to addressing their demands. Chaos broke out in late afternoon when police officers set off deafening percussion grenades and fired rubber bullets in this densely frequented commercial district. Negotiations between the city and the teachers’ unions have been acrimonious, and Tuesday was the strike’s 46th day.

If you are a public school student in America, apparently Uncle Sam literally believes he’s your uncle.

Yesterday The Blaze reported on an homework sheet it received from the concerned parent of an Illinois fourth grader. The school is teaching children that the U.S. government is “like a nation’s family”.
Titled “What is Government?,” the worksheet goes on to teach the children:
Government is all of the agencies, departments, organizations, groups, individuals in a nation who make, carry out, enforce, and manage conflicts about rules and laws. Government is like a nation’s family. Families take care of children and make sure they are safe, healthy and educated, and free to enjoy life.
The sheet comes complete with a little cartoon drawing that depicts Uncle Sam holding a little baby wearing the same hallmark stars-and-stripes themed top hat.
The ten questions that follow go on to use a repetitive back-and-forth technique to thoroughly draw up similarities between a child’s family and the U.S. government. Examples include, “How does your family keep you safe?” followed by “How does the government keep its citizens safe?”and “How does your family keep you healthy?” followed by “How does the government keep its citizens healthy?”
Is this homework indoctrination and government propaganda at its finest being served up to brainwash young malleable minds in our nation’s public schools?
East Prairie School Superintendent Teri Madl told The Blaze in a statement, “It is meant to offer a simple analogy that helps children understand that part of a government’s role is to set rules, enforce those rules, and provide safety, security and freedom for its citizens. It is not an attempt to include and/or promote a political message.”
How this superintendent can claim this homework is not an attempt to include a political message when the whole entire worksheet appears to be one giant political message is beyond this writer’s ability to comprehend.
This worksheet goes against the very grain of the intent of our founding fathers who envisioned a limited government that would be kept in check from abusing its powers — to a government we live under today that invades every aspect of a person’s life as if it is trying to actually be a family instead of a government.
