Florida Residents Report Mysterious Black Military Aircraft

More people are seeing what was not long ago a snickering pejorative for the establishment media.
It used to be a favorite pastime of the establishment media and its snobbish intelligentsia to poke fun at the “black helicopter crowd,” who they dismissively wrote off as loons and conspiracy nuts. More recently, the Department of Southern Poverty Security has insisted most of them are white racists bent on destroying the country.
Now that the Pentagon and the feds have stepped up their effort to militarize state and local law enforcement and conduct in-your-face military operations at civilian airports in the dead of night and stage mock strafing of civilian traffic in populated urban centers, more and more people are seeing what was not long ago a snickering pejorative for scriptwriters with degrees from the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard.
Ocala.com reported on Tuesday a number of people in and around Gainesville, Florida, seeing not only black military aircraft, but “mysterious military-style aircraft.”
When Eva Angelini heard the roar of aircraft engines on Saturday night, she ran outside to see the sort of black aircraft the corporate media insists only make an appearance in the feverish imagination of paranoid conspiracy theorists. “We ran out and looked up in the sky and right over our heads, very low, the sky was filled with black aircraft which were flying without lights,” Angelini told Ocala.com.
Other residents in the Ocala area reported seeing low-flying military aircraft over the last few days. Linda Aguiar, Gainesville airport spokeswoman, said the aircraft are part of an operation being conducted by the Department of Defense. No word, however, from the guys who train – until recently on military bases and away from civilians – to kill people and break stuff in the service of international bankers, as Major General Smedley Butler, USMC, said way back in 1933.
Part of the operation seems to be a deliberate attempt by the Pentagon to keep civilians in the dark. “Reports of black military-style aircraft buzzing the Ocala area were rampant over the weekend and into Monday, but no one seems to know what they are doing in the area,” Ocala.com reports.
When asked, the military said they don’t conduct exercises at three in the morning. “We have some P-8 Poseidons training in the area, but they wouldn’t be up at 3 in the morning. Other than that, we have nothing going on at Pinecastle (the bombing range in the Ocala National Forest) and again, they wouldn’t conduct operations at those hours,” said Kaylee LaRocque, a spokeswoman for the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville.
Ocala.com also reported no operations out of the MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.
The military, however, admitted the Canadian military is training in the area. “The only thing we have are some Canadian F-18s training in the Tampa area,” said Airman Michael Ellis, of the MacDill public affairs office. “There are no helicopters assigned to the base, so they are not ours and we would not fly at those hours. Those fall in the quiet hours which start at 6 p.m., I believe.”
Local government is clueless, of course. It isn’t unusual for the military not to inform local government about their operations, especially those violating “quiet hours” supposedly enforced in consideration of tax payers who foot the bill for expensive black helicopters said not to exist by the establishment media. If the Department of Endless War and Misery wanst to violate the spirit of Posse Comitatus, though, and use local law enforcement in their operation – for instance, establishing military style checkpoints – the Pentagon and law enforcement will usually roll out a statement for public consumption or, at least, provide some sort of facile explanation after civilians complain.
“We have been receiving a number of calls over the weekend and numerous calls on Monday from citizens reporting military aircraft. We have no official information on what they are and what they are doing,” Sgt. Angy Scroble of the Ocala Police Department told Ocala.com.
Residents wanting to know what’s going on have posted messages on the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. The cops are, naturally, in the dark on secretive military operations using “mysterious” black aircraft.
“We’ve checked around with emergency management and we have no idea who it is,” Capt. James Pogue said.
Addendum
It turns out Airman Michael Ellis of the MacDill AFB public affairs office wasn’t in the loop.
The mysterious “aircraft, which have been buzzing the area since Saturday, are coming from the University Air Center at the Gainesville Regional Airport as part of a larger training exercise in South Florida conducted by the U.S. Special Operations Command, based at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, said Maj. Mike Burns, a public affairs spokesman for the command,” Ocala.com reported after filing the story linked above.
The United States Special Operations Command, according to a Wikipedia write-up, conducts several covert and clandestine missions, such as unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, special reconnaissance, psychological warfare, civil affairs, direct action, counter-terrorism and War on Drugs operations.
“There are no exercises in the Ocala area, but Ocala is directly in the transit route,” Burns told the website. He would not say why aircraft were taking off from Gainesville for exercises in the Miami area.
As noted above, the military used Blackhawks to stage simulated warfare in a densely populated downtown Miami earlier this year. They fired blank rounds of machine gun fire, staged strafing runs while troops rappelled from choppers and set-up road blockades.
“All over the skies of Miami at night, just a few days ago,” Karen De Coster wrote in January. She said the “event was for the purposes of ‘meeting requirements,’ preparing for overseas military drills, and making sure the equipment is in check.”
Ocala.com cites a military press release issued by Miami Dade County. It “advises that the exercise includes the use of military helicopters and simulated gunfire. The training is meant to prepare participants for combat missions in urban areas and to prepare forces for upcoming overseas missions, according to the release.”
One resident told Ocala.com he was in fear for his life. “I turned and ran” after special op helicopters flew over his house at tree top level. “That’s not right what they are doing,” he said.
It may not be right, but it is certainly business as usual in post-9/11 America. Civilians have to be acclimated to the presence of a standing army, especially now that the perpetual war on phantom terrorists has arrived in America and Constitution-spouting white men are allowed to practice the Second Amendment.

The Sandy Hook Tragedy: An Inquisitive Visit to Newtown, Connecticut
Global Research
January 29, 2013
Text and Photos by Scott DeLarm
Edited by Prof. James F. Tracy
My partner and I became fed up with the mainstream media’s depiction of what took place in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14, 2012.
So on January 20 we traveled there from our home in Ottawa, Canada in an effort to visit the sites and respectfully approach the locals.
Before we even got off the highway there was a display of dozens of American flags on the shoulder. There is a large tented memorial located just off the freeway. The tent had a sign on the outside, “Sandy Hook Memorial Never Forgotten.”
Inside the tent was a chaplain who asked that I not take any photos. There were hundreds of stuffed animals and candles as well as children’s art from around the country–if not the world. Inside was also a donation jar that was at mid-afternoon close to full of money.
We signed one of the boards with condolences from Canada. I saw adults and children inside the tent on the two visits we made. No one was there who was impacted directly. I asked the chaplain if she had seen any children whom had been impacted. She did not answer.

We spent January 21 in Newtown visiting the Sandy Hook School and Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire House, Gene Rosen’s residence, the 100 Church Hill Restaurant (and pub), the Newtown Bee offices, as well as the Newtown Police Department.
We found that the school can not be seen from the front when coming down Riverside Road which is the only access to the school passing the fire house. This may explain why there was no “media” photos of the broken / shot out glass at the front.
Dickenson Road was closed with layers of orange cones and numerous “No Trespassing” signs. The entire school is now enclosed with fencing, barbed wire, no trespass and surveillance signage.
The front of the school is entirely boarded up which would be consistent with broken glass. The lettering from the front of the school “Sandy Hook Elementary” is removed.
The side door and other windows were not boarded up. No cameras could be seen at the front door or anywhere on the property.

Gene Rosen lives next door to the fire house. Thus Ms. Victoria Soto’s students that landed on Mr. Rosen’s yard had to come down Dickenson Drive and turn right, passing the fire house, to get to Mr. Rosen’s. A lady at the Rosen house would not answer the door when I knocked.
We sat at the 100 Church Hill Restaurant for a couple of hours. There were about 10 people inside.
There were about 100 drawings from children from around the country (if not the world) offering condolences and well wishes. No one was talking about these. My partner and I spoke with a couple in their early twenties for an hour or so. They were life long locals.
Eventually they asked why we were in Newtown and we told them we had heard of their tragedy. They did not comment further and we did not push the issue.
We then went to the offices of The Newtown Bee, the community’s weekly newspaper, where we spoke with the editor, Mr. Curtis Clark. Mr. Clark did not offer a warm reception and stated from the start that they were concentrating the paper’s efforts on healing efforts and that he had little time. I told him I was there to follow up on The Bee’s report that stated, in part, “A man with a gun who was spotted in the woods near the school on the day of the incident was an off-duty tactical squad police officer from another town, according to the source.” I asked who this officer was, and why he was in the woods.
Mr. Clark told me that there was a number of “conspiracy theories floating around” and “some of them even suggest that the shooting didn’t even happen.” Furthermore, “Snopes.com debunks many of these conspiracy theories.”
I told Clark I was familiar with Snopes, but it was The Bee that reported that this was an off duty officer prancing about in the woods on the day of the shooting. Clark would not address this report and became very agitated with me “interrogating” him. “I don’t intend to discuss this any further with you,” he said. Mr. Clark then referred me to the Newtown Police for any additional questions. As I was walking out of the office I overheard a lady on the phone explaining to a caller that “there is an ongoing investigation,” and referring the caller to Snopes.com.
Next, we proceeded to the Newtown Police Department. After entering I walked up to the glassed-in safety window, picked up the phone on the wall and asked the attendant on the other side if I could speak with the Communications Officer. I explained why. He directed me to The Newtown Bee.
I advised him that The Bee had directed me to them and he asked me to have a seat. The room was rectangular with doors on both ends. Then, a male and female police officer simultaneously entered through each door. I addressed the female sergeant, telling her I would like to know who was the off duty tactical officer The Bee reported on on December 27. A male officer I was not addressing repeatedly ordered me to remove my hands from my pockets.
The female sergeant told me that the man detained was the uncle of a student at the school who had gone to get his niece. I asked about the police scanner audio where the dispatcher reports that a caller from inside the school saw “two shadows” run by the gym at the back of the school.
Additionally, an officer apparently arriving at the scene stated
“I’ve got ‘em (sic). They are running at me down Crestwood.”
Crestwood Drive borders that backside of the school beyond some woods. The sergeant told me that this was the confusion of the day and that there were not two individuals. “It was just someone that went crazy, killed a bunch of people and then killed himself,” she said consolingly.
“You have nothing to worry about. You are safe.”
I still wonder.

Georgia Law Could Require 1400 Town Residents to Arm Themselves
By Shepard Ambellas

March 13, 2013
NELSON, GA — The town of Nelson is now making headlines as city council members propose a new law that will make it mandatory for the Head of Household to own a firearm as the recent Sandy Hook School shooting has scarred residents that they might lose their 2nd Amendment rights. If passed on April 1, 2013 the law will require nearly 1400 residents to own firearms in a town with virtually no crime.
One citizen said to the AP, “We got the right to bear arms and we’re going to do it” while another was quoted, “This is appalling that the city would come up with a sham ordinance like this one”.
Locals question if the law will even be enforced and also wonder if it isn’t enforced what other laws will then slip.
However the actual proposal of the was backed by the police chief.

France, UK may arm Syrian rebels ‘without EU support,’ despite embargo
Russia Today
March 14, 2013

Reuters / Goran Tomasevic
Paris and London will call for an early unscheduled EU meeting on the Syrian arms embargo in order to lift the ban. If the union does not end the embargo, the two nations will still arm the Syrian rebels, France said.
“We along with the British will ask for the meeting to be moved up,” French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said, adding that “Lifting the embargo is the only means of moving things on a political level.”
The next meeting is scheduled for May, but Fabius said that Paris and London are attempting to move it forward to before the end of March.
Fabius also warned that France and Britain are ready to arm Syrian rebels without unanimous EU support. If the embargo is lifted, “the resistance fighters [will] have the possibility of defending themselves,” he asserted.
Last month, the EU amended the embargo to allow member nations to supply the Syrian opposition with “non-lethal” equipment and training, but did not lift the ban entirely.
The two countries have repeatedly pushed for an end to the ban: In December, British Prime Minister David Cameron urged an early review and possible lifting of the arms embargo, in order to greenlight the delivery of equipment and supplies to the Syrian opposition.
The EU imposed the arms embargo, and other sanctions, against Syria in May 2011, following two months of conflict in the country. Since then, the union has held several meetings to discuss the possible repeal of the ban, but the embargo has remained in place.
Fabius claimed that since Russia and Iran are sending weapons to Assad’s forces, the opposition has way to properly defend itself.
Iraq strongly denied the accusations: Ali Moussawi, Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki’s media advisor, said on Wednesday that “such a thing never happened. Weapons did not and will not be transferred from Iran to Syria through Iraq, whether by land or by air.”
Russia has insisted that it is only fulfilling contracts it already signed, which includes sending anti-missile air defense systems, not offensive weapons.
Moscow has spoken sharply against supplying arms to the rebels. Any plans to arm the Syrian rebels would violate international law, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday as he met with British Foreign Minister William Hague.
“As for the possibility of arming the opposition, as far as I understand, it is not allowed by international law, that’s why arming of the opposition directly or indirectly will be the violation of the international law,” Lavrov said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry is also opposed to the Syrian rebels’ membership in the Arab League, as this would legalize the supplying of arms to the opposition, including terrorists from militant group Jabhat al-Nusra.
Last week, the league issued a statement offering a seat to Syrian rebels, and that Arab states are free to offer them military support.
