Reporter Jacob Boon spent much of yesterday on the ground at Victoria Park, and later at the communal meeting at Saint Andrews’ Hall on Robie and Coburg. He took several videos, less of the violence, and more of the scene as events unfolded.
His first, is of police removing tents from Victoria Park after Mayor Peter Kelly gives the order to evict Occupy Nova Scotia protesters.

Protesters with the Occupy movement in Halifax called on the city’s mayor to resign Saturday after demonstrators who had camped out at a public park were evicted in a testy clash with police.
A few hundred protesters rallied outside city hall Saturday, chanting “Peter Kelly has got to go” and demanding that both the mayor and the city’s chief of police explain Friday’s events.
Protesters who had relocated their camp from Grande Parade, a downtown square, to Victoria Park to make way for Remembrance Day ceremonies were served notice early Friday that they would have to leave.
Fourteen people were arrested, and many were charged with obstruction of justice for clashes with police as they tried to dismantle the dozens of tents.
Protest organizer Kyle Buott said protesters were given a few hours to clear out of the park.

We were going to respect this woman’s desire to not be filmed or identified because she said she could lose her job just for being there, that is, until she showed her disdain for others by trying to bully various people at McPherson Square into following her agenda and physically interfere with our filming. We decided it was more important to hold her accountable. Please help us out this woman. I believe her name is Melissa.

Police in Oakland at 14th and Broadway face off with OWS protestors sending tear gas whirling into the crowd and blindly hitting nonviolent citizens.
Looks like the protest is heating up.
Demonstrators were on the move as the event was permitted by police almost as a test fire training session.
The police started using sticks on people as well:

Protesters ordered out of Halifax park Friday under camping ban
Police have arrested several people at the Occupy Nova Scotia site in Halifax as they enforce an eviction order and dismantle tents.
Police teams descended on Victoria Park on Friday afternoon, a couple of hours after demonstrators were told to leave the city park because they were camping illegally.
Fourteen people were arrested as of 4 p.m. AT, all for obstruction of justice, Halifax Regional Police said.
“The time has come for the encampment to end,” Mayor Peter Kelly said in a statement. “Our parks are for all of the public, not an unregulated campground for some.”
About 200 people gathered in the park while protesters also dismantled more than a dozen tents and loaded them into a van headed for a nearby church. One demonstrator said they would regroup at the church and figure out their next move since they’ve been told they can’t return to Grand Parade.

Police Log License Plate Numbers of Occupy Protesters As Agent Provocateurs Go To Work
Shepard Ambellas

The Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protests have grown in numbers and are now essentially a worldwide movement. The question is who is behind the movement and is it co-opted?
When our crew first arrived on-scene at the Occupy Hawaii protest we ran a counter survey of the protest grounds and surrounding area, quickly noticing the players involved. Police and security were converging on the event and were even spotted giving hand signals to the bankers in the nearby banking loancenter (possible staging post). The officials on site were logging all the protesters license plate numbers as well as physical descriptions. Police-hired provocateurs were amongst the crowd of protesters.
‘The feeling in general of the movement was there were some good meaning passionate people at the protests, but in general the movement felt scripted and co-opted’. – Shepard Ambellas
The fact that agent provocateurs were salted within the group is not surprising, as it has been well documented by many including Dan Dicks from Press For Truth.
The Intel Hub further documented and interviewed people on site which can be seen in the exclusive video below:
