Scientists Propose Dumping Iron into Ocean to Stop Global Warming

ocean1 235x147 Scientists Propose Dumping Hundreds of Tons of Iron into Ocean to Stop Global WarmingIn an attempt to ‘stop global warming’, scientists have been experimenting with dumping several tons of iron into the Antarctic ocean in order to potentially fertilize the development of plankton. Despite raising a multitude of red flags raised from leading scientific organizations and health watch organizations, a new study is now calling for the practice to be even further extended as a worldwide ‘geoengineering’ strategy to alter the climate via dumping hundreds of tons of iron dust into the ocean. Previous research found that by dumping the heavy metal into oceans worldwide it could not only devastate the marine life population, but deplete oxygen levels and explode the growth of certain unwanted organisms.

The implementation began with a California-based company known as Planktos, a self-described private ‘ecorestoration’ company. While the widescale iron dumping experiment was halted due to lack of funding, some are still calling for the plan to be followed through. Using a 115-foot ship, the company team members aimed to travel over 200 miles west of the Galápagos Islands and ultimately dump a hundred tons of iron dust into international water.

As iron can stimulate plankton growth (organisms which absorb CO2), it has been touted to be a method of artificial engineering the climate with great effectiveness. In fact, one scientist named John Martin said in 1980 that a “half tanker of iron” could cause an ice age.  Planktos sought to dump excessive amounts of iron into the ocean, capture carbon, and then sell carbon credits to companies looking to ‘offset’ their global emissions. A mission that ultimately collapsed.

But now Planktos’ CEO Russ George and some ‘environmental scientists’ are back in the saddles and looking to revisit the concept that involves selling off potentially millions (if not billions) of dollars of outlandish carbon credits to major corporations. An operation that while not only risky in regards to what we know might happen, but also what we don’t know that may happen. As detailed in a UNESCO report, it is documented that such tinkering with the ocean’s natural regulation is quite risky. The report states:

“Large-scale fertilization could have unintended (and difficult to predict) impacts not only locally, e.g. risk of toxic algal blooms, but also far removed in space and time. Impact assessments need to include the possibility of such ‘far-field’ effects on biological productivity, sub-surface oxygen levels, biogas production and ocean acidification.”

For now, the plan has no set date or confirmation. If the organizations and individuals backing this plan get their way, however, hundreds of tons of iron may soon be dumped into the earth’s oceans without properly identifying the risks associated with the process.

Are Metaphysics, Third Eye Activation, and DMT Demonic? [video]

A few years ago, I would have easily answered ‘Yes, it’s all demonic!’, but now it is becoming apparent to me that some of the things we have been told are evil are really not evil, whereas some of the things we have trusted to be good are not really good. What is going on, when your pastor tells you DMT is witchcraft, and then tells you you are being a good Christian by following your doctor’s advice and taking pills and vaccines that are made using witchcraft and human sacrifice? At the very least, your pastor has no idea what’s really going on here.

Fracking And The Environment: Landmark Fracking Lawsuit starts with Twist in Alberta

A landmark lawsuit against an energy giant and two Alberta government regulatory agencies concerning water well contamination by hydraulic fracturing started with an unusual twist in Alberta’s Court of Queen’s Bench yesterday.

Judge B. L. Veldhuis began the proceedings in a Drumheller courtroom attended by 20 landowners from across the province by admitting that she was going to do something unexpected: she then asked for a shorter statement of claim.

Jessica Ernst, a 54-year-old oil patch consultant and scientist from Rosebud, Alberta, is suing EnCana, one of the continent’s largest unconventional gas producers, for negligence causing water contamination and the Alberta Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB), the province’s energy regulator, for breaching the Charter of Rights.

The lawsuit alleges that the regulator “banished” Ernst, now a celebrated landowner in the province, from contact with the board after she publically spoke out about water well contamination and noise pollution.

In addition, the $33-million lawsuit alleges that Alberta Environment, one of two agencies responsible for groundwater protection, failed to uphold its regulatory responsibilities.

The lawsuit effectively puts on trial the practice and regulation of hydraulic fracturing: the controversial blasting of coal, oil and shale formations with toxic chemicals, sand and water.

North America’s fracking boom has increased natural gas supplies, lowered gas prices and weakened the bottom line of many gas companies. The poorly studied technology, which can also cause earthquakes, has sparked moratoriums, debates and regulatory investigations from New Brunswick to Wyoming due to concerns about groundwater contamination, air pollution and methane leaks.

Neither EnCana nor the Alberta regulators have fielded statements of defence on shallow fracking incidents that took place eight years ago during a frenzied coal-bed methane drilling boom in central Alberta.

Instead, lawyers for both EnCana and the ERCB came prepared to argue a variety of motions to dismiss the entire case or strike out entire paragraphs from Ernst’s highly readable 73-page statement of claim as “inflammatory” and “embarrassing.”

In particular, the ERCB, whose mission is to develop oil and gas “in a manner that is fair, responsible and in the public interest,” was prepared to argue that it has “no duty of care” to a landowner with contaminated water.

Toronto lawyer Murray Klippenstein, who represents Ernst, agreed with the judge’s request and says he will submit a shorter claim within a month. (Klippenstein, a no-nonsense litigator on critical justice issues, successfully represented the family of slain First Nation activist Dudley George against the Ontario government of Mike Harris.)

“We know that EnCana and the Board and the government did not like the detailed description of Jessica’s case and were trying very hard to have parts removed,” explained Klippenstein outside the courtroom.

“The judge wanted a more concise description and that can be easily provided.”

The lawsuit alleges that an experimental and shallow drilling and fracking program into coal seams contaminated Ernst’s water source with so much methane that she could light her tap water on fire.

“EnCana refused to address Ms. Ernst’s concerns or answer her questions; failed to investigate Ms. Ernst’s water contamination problem; refused to disclose the chemicals used in fracturing, drilling and servicing operations,” adds the claim.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has linked fracking activity by EnCana to the contamination of groundwater in Pavillion, Wyoming. EnCana, which is losing money and shareholder confidence due to its extreme dependence on industrial scale shale gas plays, calls the EPA investigation flawed.

Landowners at the courthouse said they came to support Jessica Ernst as a champion of the public interest and groundwater protection.

“Jessica is doing what we all want to do but don’t have the balls to stand up and do,” said Shawn Campbell, a Ponoka area rancher who also has water contamination problems related to fracking. “Water is the key issue. If you don’t have clean water what are you going to do? You won’t live long.”

Dairy farmer Jan Slomp, a board member of the National Farmer’s Union, which has called for a moratorium on fracturing, also attended the first day of the trial because of his admiration for Ernst’s courage.

“I’m here to support Jessica. This issue needs to be brought into the public arena. People are concerned and know something is wrong.” [. . . . ]

Earth Day 2012. Is there a real reprieve for Gaia?

“The ‘control of nature’ is a phrase conceived in arrogance, borne of the Neanderthal age of biology and philosophy, when it was supposed that nature exists for the convenience of man.” ~ Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring, 1962.

Since Earth Day was founded in 1970, millions of people around the world have taken personal responsibility and participated in cleaning up their neighborhoods, parks, and beaches and do whatever each person could to help Gaia, our beleaguered Mother Earth. These are important and admirable steps. However, while both the organics movement (worth billions of consumer dollars) and many large environmental organizations could add hefty weight to the true meaning of helping Gaia, there is mostly silence. Many environmental groups have accepted significant funding from foundations that have ties to the elite. It’s called “controlled opposition.” So, these organizations can go to bat for our environment –but only up to a certain point. Some environmental topics are taboo: the real issues behind geo-engineering/Chemtrails; the many HAARP facilities around the world; a real stopping of the toxic spread of GMO’s; and the unending dangers of nuclear energy and nanotechnology.

Last year, the elite companies of the organics movement –now almost 40 year’s old– decided “to surrender to Monsanto.”(1) More than 25,000 supposed organic farmers were affected. This is a defacto take-over of whatever was left of the organics movement; and it gives the toxic agri-businesses global free reign to wreck the entire food chain with impunity. Who was paid off? Any real laws to protect consumers (either via the states or federal government) are non-existent. Our Constitution has been deliberately trashed. This was the Illuminati’s plan: to destroy our sovereignty, food supply, and financial base, and wreck our health –including our ability to think clearly. It is then quite easy to manipulate an entire population when they are unable to think clearly; and it can be easily done with fear tactics and theatrics (movies, TV programs, etc.). Deception is their modus operandi. There is a very long history of this.

Genetic engineering was brought to us by stealth and lies from the multi-national agribusinesses (Monsanto and Dow, Cargil, etc.) with support from a corrupt Congress. This is not a safe technology and never was.(2) The dangers of GMO’s are well documented. They are known to cause a four-fold increase in birth defects, still-births, genetic malformations, sterility, DNA damage, and massive poisoning of Gaia’s soil and all the beneficial micro-organisms in what was once a rich and true organic humus.(3)  Most of this research (some of it going back 20 years) has been silenced through a compliant and tightly controlled mass media (85 percent of news print, radio, and TV is owned by five corporations).

However, the bigger picture of massive corporate pollution –that has accelerated tremendously over the past 12 years, and destroyed millions of acres– is that it goes unpunished. Multi-national corporations (147 key companies) and the dark cabal behind this on-going nightmare are never held accountable.  See:

and see also, Stephen Lendman’s new book, “How Wall Street Fleeces America.”

The good news with all this is: there are numerous and credible reports that accountability and the multi-pronged criminality, so all pervasive in all governments, may soon be coming to an end.
