The Suspicious Killing of Press TV Correspondent Serena Shim — video included
Non-Aligned Media
Oct 20, 2014
Press TV correspondent Serena Shim has been killed, perhaps murdered, near the Turkish-Syrian boarder.
Shim had for many months been documenting Turkey’s ignominious role in the ongoing destabilization of Syria. Many Zionist-backed Islamist zealots have been funnelling into Syria via Turkey, often armed with Israeli weapons, with the goal of overthrowing one of the few governments in the world which refuses to accept Zionist colonization of the Middle East. Shim was illuminating this inconvenient truth to the world and loss her life in the process.
As with slain Press TV correspondent Maya Nasser, Shim was exposing the non-Syrian ethnicity of much of the anti-government fighters, thus falsifying the Western propaganda claim that an indigenous grass-roots uprising is taking place in the country.
While the Zionist controlled media in the West has been championing the destruction of Syria, Press TV has been almost alone in producing reportage which is critical of the actions of the NATO-backed armed gangs which are undermining peace and stability in the region.
Shim had in the hours leading up to her death been falsely accused of engaging in espionage by members of the Turkish establishment who were no doubt eager to suppress the news she was disseminating. Press TV reported
“Serena was killed in a reported car accident when she was returning from a report scene in the city of Suruch in Turkey’s Urfa province. She was going back to her hotel in Urfa when their car collided with a heavy vehicle. Urfa province is near the Syrian border. Serena Shim covered reports for Press TV in Lebanon, Iraq, and Ukraine. On Friday, she told Press TV that the Turkish intelligence agency has threatened and accused her of spying and she fears to be arrested.”
Hamid Reza Emadi, Press TV’s Newsroom Director, has intimated that Press TV does not accept the dubious official explanation of Shim’s death. Her family have reportedly echoed Mr. Emadi’s skepticism.
As someone who was her colleague I would like to express my condolences to her loved ones. Serena was potentially saving lives in Syria by revealing the machinations of Israeli-sponsord death squads on the Turkish side of the Syrian-Turkish boarder. R.I.P Serena Shim.
ISIS Downs Two US Warplanes, Who’s Responsible?
by Gordon Duff
New Eastern Outlook
Oct 17, 2014
There is emerging evidence that ISIS/ISIL is coordinating military activities tied to upcoming US elections. Terrorist threats, downing of US planes and attempts to kidnap military personnel is being coordinated with political groups in the United States allied with pro-Israeli elements. There is further evidence ISIS/ISIL shot down at least one American fighter bomber over Syria and damaged an American combat transport plane, an Osprey, that later crashed.
Recent events, shocking to Israel, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, statements made against Turkey by Vice President Biden and broad criticism of Israel by President Obama, have made crushing the Obama administration vital to those groups behind ISIS/ISIL, traitors within the United States, America’s questionable “ally,” Israel, and those cited by Vice President Biden last week, particularly Turkey and Saudi Arabia
Background
Two US aircraft were hit by US built Patriot PAC 2 missiles and destroyed. The US secretly suspended attacks on ISIS targets as a result. Only drone attacks are proceeding.
The action, the use of “Iron Dome” missiles, or at least missiles identical to those the US had given Israel, is part of an attempt to capture any American servicemen or women in order to stage a public beheading. You see, ISIS seems to be working very closely with groups in Israel and the United States and has been “tasked” with embarrassing the Obama administration prior to upcoming elections.
A recent upsurge in the American economy has left extremist groups threatened, fearful that their plan to push forward a war against Iran after the upcoming 2016 presidential election may be sidelined. ISIS is a partner in this process.
Planes Shot Down
The planes, an F 16 shot down over Syria and a US Marine Corps Osprey, hit over Iraq and crashing into the sea attempting to return to a US aircraft carrier are listed as having been destroyed by a typhoon at Kadena Air Force Base, in Japan. This cover story, one carried in the press, is outrageously false.
Both pilots are listed by unofficial sources as recovered. Attacks are said to be part of an ISIS program to capture one or more US pilots prior to the upcoming American elections. Intelligence sources indicate that it would have been impossible to track the planes without “package” information similar to that Senator John McCain gave the North Vietnamese when he was captured after being shot down in 1967.
Air defense systems, in this case advanced American long range Patriot systems, range 160 km, had to be placed with advanced knowledge of the highly classified routes the planes were to travel.
Hong Kong’s “Occupy Central” Fooling No One

| Image: Martin Lee was previously in Washington D.C. before an audience at a talk organized by the US National Endowment for Democracy (NED). He is now a prominent co-organizer of street demonstrations he plotted with his counterparts in Washington earlier this year. |
October 11, 2014 (Tony Cartalucci – LD) – China’s People’s Daily in an article titled, “Why is the US so keen on ‘Color Revolutions’?,” states what has become abundantly obvious over the past several weeks of protesting in Hong Kong – that the protests are driven by foreign interests masquerading as a “desire for democracy.” The article states specifically that:
According to media reports, Louisa Greve, a director of the National Endowment for Democracy of the US (NED), was already meeting with the key people from “Occupy Central” several months ago, to talk about the movement. Louisa Greve is the vicepresident of NED who is responsible for its Asia, Middle East and North Africa programs. For many years, her name has frequently appeared on reports about “Tibetanindependence”, “eastern Turkistan”, “democracy movement” and other forcesdestabilizing Chinese affairs and interfering with the Chinese government. She also hosted or participated in conferences about the “Arab spring” and the “Color Revolutions” of other regions.
The piece goes on to examine some of the more obvious signs of US political backing being lent openly to the “Occupy Central” movement and finally concludes with:
The US may enjoy the sweet taste of interfering in other countries’ internal affairs, but on the issue of Hong Kong it stands little chance of overcoming the determination of the Chinese government to maintain stability and prosperity.
It is clear that Beijing fully understands what is unfolding in Hong Kong, and further more, understands not only the US desire to meddle in China’s affairs, but its desire to take superficially “peaceful” rallies and use them to create social division, chaos, and even violence with them – especially by means of provoking an unwitting government into violence, or perpetrating staged violence and pinning it on the government. It is likely Beijing and the government in Hong Kong have already accounted for this and have taken appropriate measures to counter it.
The presence of such an overt accusation against the US for its role behind “Occupy Central” is in fact part of this counteraction. By understanding the subversion and accurately reporting on it for both China’s audiences as well as global audiences, raises questions “Occupy Central” supporters will have to answer – either through finding facts and either proving or disproving these accusations, or resorting to increasingly transparent, immature, and intellectually bankrupted means of defending what is otherwise indefensible foreign-backed sedition.
Beijing and Hong Kong’s government’s refusal to meet with what is increasingly exposed as an illegitimate demonstration led by compromised leaders is another sign that China will not play along with the “color revolution” model of destabilization. Rather than crack down or lend legitimacy to demonstrators by meeting with them, it appears authorities have decided instead to let the protests sit in the streets indefinitely, expending both their own resources, and the patience of the silent majority.
Without real popular support, the protests have no chance of succeeding, especially if they fail to portray themselves as victims and instead, increasingly appear to be provocateurs.
Ukraine: Nazis in Plain Sight
October 7, 2014 (Tony Cartalucci – NEO) – The Western press recently reported the destruction of a Soviet-era statue of Vladimir Lenin in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. The Washington Post would claim in its report, “Ukrainians just pulled down a massive Lenin statue. What does that signal for Russia?,” that:
Anti-Russian protesters in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, pulled down a massive statue of Vladimir Lenin late Sunday, a sign of hardening anger toward the Kremlin in an eastern Ukrainian area where sympathies are split between Kiev and Moscow.
The pro-European protests that swept Ukraine in the winter were accompanied by a wave of Lenin statues being pulled down, eliminating symbolic vestiges of the Soviet Union that had endured after its 1991 breakup. But few such statues were toppled in eastern Ukraine, which has long been a bastion of pro-Russian sentiment and where separatists have embarked on an insurgency that has cost thousands of lives.
As usual with reports from the Western press, the deception can manifest itself just as much from what is omitted as from what is actually said. The Washington Post maintains that those who destroyed the statue were merely “anti-Russian protesters.” In reality, it was a mob led by literal Neo-Nazis of the notorious Azov Battalion – fielded and directed by Kiev’s Interior Ministry itself.
While the Washington Post attempts to claim the statue’s destruction was a manifestation of the people’s will in eastern Ukraine, it was in reality a stunt pulled by some of Kiev’s most vicious, ultra-right, and illegitimate supporters – supporters the West works continuously to obfuscate from public view.

The Black Flag Of ISIS Raised One Mile Away From Turkey’s Border With Syria
by NTEB News Desk
Now The End Begins
Oct 6, 2014
Islamic State militants raised their flag over a building in the outskirts of the Syrian border town of Kobane this morning following an assault lasting almost three weeks, amid fears the town could fall to the jihadists within hours.
Kobane is just six miles from the Turkish border – the gateway into Europe – and the NATO member country has already called on the international alliance to provide military assistance in the event that ISIS fighters breach the border.

Assault: ISIS militants raised their flag on a building on the eastern outskirts of the Syrian border town of Kobane this morning after an assault of almost three weeks
The black flag belonging to the terror group was visible from the Turkish side of the border – atop a four-storey building close to the scene of some of the most intense clashes in recent days. He added: ‘The main responsibility for NATO is to protect all allied countries. Turkey is a NATO ally and our main responsibility is to protect the integrity, the borders of Turkey,’ NBC News reports.
Local sources inside Kobane confirmed the group had planted its flag but said that Kurdish forces had repelled their advances so far. At least 20 ISIS militants have so far been killed in their assault on the city today – following the deaths of more than 45 fighters on each side yesterday.
Kobane is a town of key strategic importance to both ISIS and the Kurdish resistance due to its close proximity to the largely porous Turkish border. While the city centre is roughly six miles from the barbed wire fence that separates Turkey from Syria, the city’s northern suburbs are so close to Turkey that civilians in the Turkish town of Mursitpinar have been able to watch the fighting with binoculars.
