Earlier this year, the well-known ultra-hipster magazine and clickbait cesspool Vice launched a new site called Broadly, which is essentially their answer to feminist blogs like Jezebel and Feministing. When the blog was first announced, its publisher Shannon Kelley stated: “If you look at the current landscape of women’s media, it is purely reactionary. Blogs are either reacting to the news, gossiping about celebrities or discussing the latest beauty and fashion trends. No one is telling original stories that women specifically relate to. For Vice, it is in our DNA to provide original, story-driven video content and speak to a millennial audience.”
So, what kind of original, non-reactionary, millennial-approved content that women specifically relate to is Vice publishing under its new Broadly umbrella?

Well, aside from the usual insipid junk about fashion, celebrities, dating, horoscopes, “the patriarchy”, and so forth, Broadly just published this new article about how bestiality is the latest progressive thing that modern-day women should embrace.

As Father’s Day approaches, retailers faithfully sing dad’s praises in ads hawking the perfect gift for the occasion. When the advertising team at Angel Soft came up with its offering, however, the object was noticeably different.
The online ad – which lasts a whopping 2 ½ minutes – pays tribute to single mothers with nary a mention of actual dads. What might appear on its surface to be a feel-good spot acknowledging the sacrifices of parents who had to fill both parental roles, its inherent slight toward fathers is a telling symptom of a debilitating societal epidemic.
As a man looking forward to his first Father’s Day, I’ve learned only enough to realize there is much I have yet to learn about being a dad. The one thing of which I am absolutely certain, however, is that my son is the most important and precious thing in my life. I know that I have a unique responsibility to instill in him the qualities of a godly man and will spend the rest of my life attempting to meet that lofty challenge.

Episode 230 is an interview with Bill Joslin, his seventh appearance, titled: “Nonviolent Communication, Pt. 2 “From the Fabians, thru MKULTRA, to Today.”. This episode is being released Saturday, May 29, 2015, and was recorded May 18.
Bill Joslin at an early age developed a fascination with mind and awareness. Subsequently he spent 16 years studying Bonpo, Nyingma Buddhist and Taoist practices. He spent a year in Asia interviewing Buddhist monks in Laos, Cambodia, Nepal; Taoist practitioners in Indonesia, and Bonpo priests in Northwest Nepal, comparing practices as taught in the west with the original monasteries and traditions from which the teachings originated. Nine years ago, Bill was asked by a number of people to counsel them with mediation practices they were having difficulty with and not finding aid from their current teachers. From a sense of responsibility Bill then went through a process of questioning every aspect of meditative knowledge he had gained over those years, essentially applying critical thinking to spiritual practices. In short order the illusion of meditation, spiritual teachers, and philosophical frameworks dissolved and a concise, non-mystical view of mind, self and world emerged with simple clarity. Meditation and spiritual guru-ship is an ancient form of control, the residue of which we live with today.
Professional Protesters make their way into legitimate causes by providing organization and training to sincere people. Once installed into the cause they then high jack the activities – marginalize or radicalise the participants. NVC is a core subject in activist training.
